Sacred Afflictions

1. The Seven Heavenly Virtues – The Council of Seraphim

These Seraphim are the living manifestations of the seven greatest virtues of mankind. They hold the highest political authority in Heaven and form the ruling Council of Seraphim, with Michael as the Chief Council Member.

Michael, Virtue of Justice – The Strongest.

Uriel, Virtue of Covenants/Promises – Second Strongest.

Tahariel, Virtue of Purity – Third Strongest.

Raphael, Virtue of Wisdom – Fourth Strongest.

Sariel, Virtue of Hope – Fifth Strongest.

Sachariel, Virtue of Patience – Sixth Strongest.

Ragael, Virtue of Charity – Seventh Strongest.

Each resides in and governs one of the Seven Grand Palaces in the Holy City of Heaven.

Azreal is a Seraph and the embodiment of Death itself. Known also as the Grim Reaper or Horseman of Death, she is both feared and revered across all creation.

She wields the Blade of Death, a divine weapon forged by the Almighty.

This blade can slay on every level: physical, mental, spiritual, temporal, and even conceptual.

Azreal's strength rivals even Michael's, and her authority in Heaven is second only to the Council of Seraphim.

3. Seraphim – The Closest to the Divine

The highest order of angels. These beings possess six wings and serve closest to the Almighty. They embody immense power, perfect obedience, and are revered across all celestial realms.

4. Archangels – The Voice of Heaven

Created in the image of the Seraphim, Archangels are Heaven's elite messengers and military commanders. They bear four wings and operate as the divine middle-management of the Celestial Realm.

Gabriel, the Divine Messenger, is the most prominent among them.

5. Ophanim / Thrones – Guardians of the Almighty's Seats

Ophanim guard the various Thrones of the Almighty scattered throughout Heaven.

They operate in groups of 24, and their appearance is often awe-inspiring—burning wheels within wheels, covered in eyes, ever-watchful.

Fierce, diverse, and animalistic, Cherubim are warriors of raw divine instinct.

They come in countless forms—beasts with wings, lions with halos, eagles with voices of thunder—and are both protectors and enforcers.

7. Dominions – Cosmic Regulators

These angels govern the major foundational concepts of reality—Time, Gravity, Order, Space, and other universal pillars.

Often found in the outer cosmos, Dominions keep creation in balance and rarely interact with mortals.

8. Principalities – Earthly Watchers

A lesser order of Dominions, Principalities oversee smaller but vital concepts—Seasons, Nations, Rivers, Languages, etc.

They mainly dwell on Earth, guiding human societies and spiritual energies.

The most populous angelic order, making up 65% of the angelic race.

Powers are Heaven's guardians, soldiers, watchers, and most commonly known to mankind as Guardian Angels.

They serve across all planes, but are especially active in the mortal realm.

Saints are righteous humans who have ascended to Heaven after death.

While they do not hold much political power in Heaven, they are treated with great respect by the angels.

This reverence stems from their origin: being made in the Almighty's image and considered His favorite creations.

Many Saints serve as scribes, intercessors, or spiritual counselors, and some are granted minor divine roles in the celestial order.
