UNICORNIC MOMENTS

As they parted ways, Leo couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement at the prospect of rekindling their friendship.

He walked away with a spring in his step, feeling grateful for the chance encounter with the lovely Julian.

"I'll catch you later, Julian," Leo called out, turning back to smile at her.

Julian smiled back, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Looking forward to it, Leo. Cheers!"

The house was quite large. It's all the same again. she walked round the house looking at all the paintings, she thought they never changed. Her stay there was hell and nothing but a reminder of her past that she wishes to forget.

"Have your seat madame." was what she heard, she turned around and her eyes met with a huge hefty man with suit on,he looks like one of the body guard.

"ok".she sat down and a drink was offered to her but she bluntly refused.

"You better take it" her eyes finally met with who it was. Her nemesis. She saw his dark eyes darting straight at her. All she could see was a monster.

He sat down comfortably and another drink was offered to him which he gladly took, shaking it gently before he finally slurped down some of the drink.

"Why did you ask me to come here?" she yelled at him.

"Relax Ella I just called you here to chitchat". He let out a sly grin on his face.

"I did not drive 50 miles from my house here to chitchat with the devil". She spoke angrily to him and he seemed to enjoy annoying her.

"I was wondering where snow..." he said before he was interrupted by Ella who stood up with anger .

"Don't you dare have anything to do with my daughter, don't you dare try to harm her".

"Sit down". One of the bodyguard shouted at her while she was standing but he was stopped by Bryan who signalled for him to let her be.

He retreated back to his position while Ellasaf down.

"You always overreact over everything". Mr. Bryan said as he gulped down the remaining drink. Ms. Ella didn't respond but only turned to face another way.

"You still look as stunning as ever." He seemed to give her nothing but worry the more he spoke.

She remembers everything vividly. So clearly...What the hell drove her into getting acquaintained with him. It brought her nothing but sorrow.

Thoughts roll down her mind.

{FLASHBACK}

The cab stopped at the gate and then it was opened after their luggage was taken. As Snow and her mother, Ella, stepped into the house, a sense of unease settled over Snow.

She had been reluctant to leave her father's house, and the unfamiliar surroundings only added to her anxiety.

Their host, a man named Bryan, greeted them warmly. He hugged Ella tightly, and Snow noticed a look of familiarity between them.

"Ella, you're here early," Bryan said with a chuckle. "Or is it here late? How was your journey?"

Ella smiled and exchanged pleasantries with Bryan, but Snow remained silent, taking in her new surroundings.

Bryan's eyes landed on Snow, and he smiled. "And you must be Snow. How are you doing? Nice to meet you, I'm Bryan. You can call me Bryan; I don't mind if you don't feel like calling me Dad."

Snow forced a small smile, still feeling uncertain. Her mother took her hand, and Bryan suggested they get Snow settled into her new room.

As they made their way upstairs, Snow's eyes widened in surprise. Her new room was spacious and brightly lit, with a large window that overlooked the garden.

The bed was covered in a soft, white duvet, and a desk sat in the corner, adorned with a vase of fresh flowers.

"This is where you'll be staying from now on," Ella said, trying to sound cheerful.

Snow looked up at her mother, feeling a lump form in her throat. "Mom, I don't like it here. When can we go back to Dad?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Ella knelt down beside Snow and took her hand. "Honey, you have to go wherever I go. That means you have to stay wherever I stay."

Snow's eyes welled up with tears. "But Mom, I have a strange feeling about this place."

Ella smiled reassuringly. "You're just missing your dad, sweetie. I know all of that will go away once you get used to Bryan. He's a really nice man, trust me."

Ella tucked Snow into bed and kissed her goodnight. As she turned to leave, Snow called out to her. "Mom?"

"Yes, sweetie?" Ella replied.

"I don't like it here," Snow repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ella smiled and patted Snow's shoulder. "Try to get some rest, okay? We'll talk more in the morning."

As Ella closed the door behind her, Snow lay in bed, feeling lost and alone in her new surroundings.

She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, and she wondered if she would ever feel at home in this new place.

THE NEXT DAY🌞

~CRESTVIEW UNIVERSITY-2:00PM

Snow sat under the shade of a tree, enjoying the warm breeze rustling through the leaves.

That's when she saw Oliver approaching her, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Hey," Snow said, smiling up at him.

Oliver sat down beside her, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. "I've been thinking," he said, his voice low and serious.

Snow raised an eyebrow. "About what?"

Oliver leaned in, his face inches from Snow's. "I think we should make this a real contract relationship. You know, with rules and everything."

Snow's eyes widened in surprise. "I don't know, Oliver. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that."

Oliver's expression turned persuasive. "Come on, Snow. If you could force me to agree to this fake relationship in the first place, you should be willing to learn to go by my rules."

Snow hesitated, but Oliver's words struck a chord. She nodded, and Oliver grinned.

"Great! Let's establish some ground rules. I'll go first."

Oliver outlined his first rule: "We should always be honest with each other, even if it's hard."

Snow nodded thoughtfully. "I agree with that. But what if it's something that might hurt the other person's feelings?"

Oliver considered her question. "I think we should still be honest, but we should also be kind and compassionate. We can find a way to tell the truth without being hurtful."

Snow smiled, impressed with Oliver's thoughtfulness. "Okay, I can live with that."

Oliver outlined his second rule: "We should always respect each other's boundaries and personal space."

Snow nodded again. "I definitely agree with that. I value my independence and alone time."

Oliver smiled. "Me too. I think it's essential for a healthy relationship."

Snow took a deep breath and outlined her first rule: "We should never get too comfortable or complacent in our relationship. We should always be willing to challenge each other and grow together."

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure I agree with that. I think comfort and complacency can be good things in a relationship."

Snow shook her head. "I don't think so. I think it's essential to keep things fresh and exciting. Otherwise, we might get bored or stagnant."

Oliver considered her point. "I see what you mean. But don't you think that's a lot of pressure to put on a relationship?"

Snow nodded. "Maybe. But I think it's worth it in the end."

Oliver outlined his third rule: "We should always communicate openly and clearly with each other."

Snow nodded enthusiastically. "I completely agree with that. Communication is key in any relationship."

Oliver smiled. "I'm glad we agree on that."

Snow outlined her second rule: "We should never go to bed angry or upset with each other."

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure I agree with that. Sometimes I think it's better to take a break and calm down before talking things through."

Snow shook her head. "I don't think so. I think it's essential to work things out before going to bed. Otherwise, resentment might build up."
