The bug with golden wings approach me in particular....
It felt like there was a vague 'pull' between us.... but I still held my guard.
Upon closer inspection this is a Volcarona.... but its colorazion is different.
It's a shiny...
Volcarona are incredibly powerful. Larvesta's evolution level is 59... so Wild Volcarona are rare.
But being a shiny, it's definitely possible that it's a Wild Volcarona.
"Human child... come with me."
I heard a voice call out to me.... but I vaguely felt that the voice came from the Volcarona.
"Did that Volcarona just talk?,"
Julia looks at me, since the Volcarona was not hostile anyways I decide to retrieve my Pokémon.
"Hey why are you recallng your Pokémon? Are you insane!"
Julia got flustered as she started to panic, but I put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
"That was a Volcarona Julia.... if it wanted to kill us, we would be already dead.."
After Julia calmed down, she nodded slowly to Shoto's explaination. His calm in this situation earned him some points.
She repeats after me and recalled her 2 remaining Pokémon.
We follow the Volcarona through the Volcano, the Pokémon we encountered let us pass without any trouble. If I were them I would too to be honest...
We reach 2 gaint doors after walking for several minutes, opening as soon as the Volcarona went near..
The doors lead to a Throne Room, the Volcarona then focuses back on us and looked back at Shoto.
"The red one, child"
I complied and released Honedge from its Pokéball.
I suddenly felt a strange pull to the Throne. I decided to walk towrds it until the Volcarona stopped me.
"That's enough... I've confirm you are his descendant."
From behind the throne room, a Larvesta with the same Golden color as the Volcarona.... It locked eyes on both Shoto and Julia curious about the strangers.
I decide to ignore it for the time being...
"You, come with me..."
The Volcarona calls to Hondge, the sword looking back at its trainer and awaited instructions.
"Go with Volcarona..."
The Sword's body tilts like a nod, and it followed the Volcarona deeper into the throne room.
The Larvesta, curious about us had gotten closer to me, so close that it touched me...
I suddenly felt another deep pull... a familiar one this time. The Larvesta and I locked eyes, almost as if we had a natural understanding.
"Human child... I see you have already bonded with my heir."
The Volcarona and Honedge return. And I look towards the Larvesta...
Suddenly, an object flied towards me and I catch it...
"A luxury ball?"
"Catch my heir with that... and you will complete the 1st floor for this mountain's challenge."
"Only my heir and you can enter.. if you manage to beat the floor, I'll let my heir accompany you until the end of your natural life.."
My eyes widened at the proposition. A shiny Pokémon was offering their heir to me, this is a rare opportunity.
"I accept. So do we start?"
The Volcarona then steps deeper into the Throne Room. A spiralling staircase layed in front of us as I looked at the duo.
"Catch my heir... and attempt the trial."
I press the Luxury Ball's button and I captured the Larvesta.
I check my Pokédex to see the Larvesta's stats.
But what I saw Shocked me in realization...

The Volcarona is a Longevity Pokémon!
I pause and I entered the Spiraling stairs, ready to face the challenges that await me.
I descend the stairs and wondered around until i reach out for the Luxury Ball....
I release Larvesta as I was tasked to finish the first floor to keep the Larvesta.
The Larvesta was silent, It felt really cold and distant.
We wonder through the mountain challenge, having some battled along the way. Though with weaker Pokémon.
Finally we seemed to arrive at the first trial, as a sign conviniently said that it was the trial's name
"Trial of trust.... the trainer shall instruct the Pokémon on how to do the puzzles for both to pass."
I look at the Larvesta and we peer into the two hallways.
One was narrow, the size of Larvesta, and the other was roughly my size... I enter the hallway, while Larvesta entered the small hole.
I bump into my first wall and i look at the engravings
"Larvesta are you there?"
"la-la-larv..."
The Moth responded, Confirming that the Larvesta is here. I slowy read the engravings and told Larvesta on what to do.
"Larvesta.. from the left, press the 3rd button. and then the 5th. And finally the 1st."
After 2 minutes the Larvesta finished the puzzle. And we continue onwards to the next.
"Larvesta... new instructions, the next area will open by itself... don't attack the Pokémon who will come charging right at you."
The Larvesta listened and Opened the door. The Pokémon inside suddenly started rushing towards Larvesta.
Larvesta, as per the instructions of Shoto. Did not defend itself...
The Pokémon then turned into gas and the puzzle was complete..
After that, the Trial of Trust ended. Larvesta and I joining up as we continued onwards.
"Wow... why did your heir become so obedient to Shoto so quickly? It doesn't make much sense.... most Pokémon with a legacy tend to be very untrustworthy of Humans (though unless the Pokémon's legacy is heavily tied to their trainer's own ancestors)(Bagon is an example of some disobedience)
"Those two children have natural affinity for each other... and I am confident that child can bring out my heir's talent and grow to be a Longevity."
Volcarona looks at Honedge, it looked like it was overwhelmed by thoughts..
"You better not regret your decision... young one."
