Chapter 0326: The Heart of the Giant

Yi Tianxing could feel a continuous stream of comprehension about the Shattered Jade Spear Intent emerging in his mind, taking root and sprouting rapidly. All of it converged within the Spear Dao True Talisman in his body. Within it, the Blood Jade War Spear, condensed from the Shattered Jade Spear Intent, now displayed a third ancient inscription:

Blood Jade Never Regrets Shattering the Heavens!!

A surge of spear intent erupted from the spear — a will to destroy all, even at the cost of mutual ruin.

The Shattered Jade Spear Intent was now truly complete.

At the moment it reached full cohesion, the Blood Jade War Spear in the Spear Dao True Talisman began to visibly grow — one inch, two inches, three inches... In just a few breaths, the entire Shattered Jade Spear Intent extended to a full foot in length. The spear intent it emitted was sharp and domineering, tragic and resolute — willing to shatter like jade rather than live as broken tiles.

All insights regarding the Shattered Jade Spear Technique converged entirely into this war spear at this moment.

Whoosh!!

Back on the battlefield, the Stone Giant clearly saw an enormous Blood Jade War Spear appear before him. The massive spear was covered in fine cracks, its surface adorned with nine stars glowing white. A layer of blood-red flame wrapped the entire weapon.

It resembled a general who knew he was going to die but still charged at the enemy with unflinching resolve in his final moments.

This charge was born of unshakable conviction — with no thoughts but to battle.

Boom!!!

A deafening explosion erupted as countless clouds of dust shot into the sky. The surrounding stone-transformed trees, grass, and buildings all collapsed into rubble.

Yi Tianxing's body crashed violently to the ground, creating a massive crater. His black battle armor, already damaged, slowly dissipated from his body, revealing his flesh. One could see deep cracks running across his body, as if he were a shattered porcelain figure. Blood seeped from the wounds — a horrifying sight.

But the most terrifying injuries weren't the external ones — inside, his bones had suffered shattered, compound fractures. Some bones had been broken into dozens of fragments.

Such damage would be fatal under normal circumstances.

Even if he survived, most people would be paralyzed for life.

Yi Tianxing had activated his Black Armor Life Aperture, covering himself with defensive battle armor, yet he had still suffered severe injury. This made it clear how devastating the strike from the giant's stone club had been.

"Such terrifying brute force. The club contained powerful gravitational force. If not for my strong physique and the protection of the Black Armor Life Aperture, any other cultivator would have been turned into meat paste. But I can recover quickly as long as I have time. I wonder what happened to my spear strike. The Shattered Jade Spear Technique, with its fusion of mutual destruction, ninefold explosion, and fire-like fury, is unstoppable."

Yi Tianxing, drenched in blood, looked like a walking corpse. But a continuous surge of vital energy flowed from the black hole into his flesh. Wounds healed at an inhuman speed. Even his shattered bones slowly reformed and reconnected under the nourishment of vital energy.

Before long, one of his arms could already move. He swung it, grabbing a roast chicken, biting into it with large gulps. Not only did he eat the meat — he crunched down the bones as well.

As he ate, his Gourmet Cells and Food Cauldron activated, absorbing the essence of the food to rapidly replenish his energy. His injuries healed before the eyes.

Though all this sounds lengthy, it occurred in mere seconds.

The strength of a body cultivator lay in their powerful physical recovery.

That said, a man sitting in a crater, munching roast chicken while covered in blood, did make for a bizarre contrast with the battlefield.

But in this moment, no one cared.

The Stone Giant still stood in the distance like a mountain, cold and emotionless. But in the center of its chest — a gaping hole had appeared, from which a blood-jade glow flickered.

"What a domineering spear intent."

The Stone Giant stared at Yi Tianxing — in truth, its gaze had never left him. Only now did it speak.

Bang!!

Almost as soon as it spoke, a burst of blood-jade light exploded from the hole in its chest. The terrifying spear intent erupted. The giant's massive body shattered visibly, crumbling into countless stone fragments the size of fists. They piled up like a small mountain.

Even its head was destroyed.

The domineering Shattered Jade Spear Intent had annihilated its entire body in one final explosion.

Ninefold burst of spear intent — total destruction.

"What is that?"

Among the pile of rocks, a mysterious ochre-colored heart floated up. It was enormous, with a visible wound pierced through it by the spear intent.

Now that the body was gone, it was fully exposed.

This was — the Heart of the Giant, the true core and source of the Stone Giant.

One could say that its only vital point was this heart. Within it surged immense energy connected to the earth itself. Even if its head or limbs were severed, as long as the heart remained, the body could regenerate.

But it was also the most fatal weakness of the Stone Giant.

Yi Tianxing's spear had pierced through the Heart of the Giant, and the explosive spear intent shattered the body. One strike — instant kill.

No one else could've done this. Without a powerful body, the infusion of Primordial Heaven Emperor Tower's energy, and an indomitable spear intent, no one could have pierced the heart, even knowing it was the weak point.

"In the end, I won."

Yi Tianxing slowly rose from the crater, walking toward the pile of stones. Among the shattered debris, many were glowing with a yellow light — this was Immortal Stubborn Stone, incredibly durable and weather-resistant.

Even after ten thousand years, this stone wouldn't weather or decay. Hard and dense, like the infamous stone from the latrine — both smelly and stubborn.

However, despite its toughness, it couldn't be used to craft magic weapons or divine artifacts. Not because it couldn't be smelted, but because its only trait — durability — added no magical quality.

At best, one could craft a brick to smash enemies with.

A chicken rib of the material world — tasteless, yet a shame to waste.

After gaining this knowledge from the Wordless Heavenly Tome, Yi Tianxing didn't mind. With a wave of his hand, he collected all the Immortal Stubborn Stone into his treasure tower, and also took the Heart of the Giant.

Back on the battlefield, the tide had turned.

Despite their numbers, the alien forces couldn't gain the upper hand in Xuanhuang Town. And now, with the reinforcements of external cultivators, the tide of battle shifted heavily.

Archers and ballista troops fired continuously, every volley bringing down more enemies.

More importantly, the alien commanders were now either dead or missing — their morale collapsed. Even madness couldn't stop the demoralization. The balance of war was tipping toward Xuanhuang Town.

The 10,000 troops led by Feng Yumo had joined the fray, engaging in brutal melee with the enemy.

"All soldiers, hear my command: Leave no alien alive — kill without mercy!"

Yi Tianxing inhaled deeply and issued a commanding roar that echoed across the battlefield.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!!"

"Heavenly thunder for drums, the earth our tomb, a sky of blood clouds lights our path!"

"The wilderness is savage, the aliens insane — but humanity shall not be humiliated!"

"Heads may fall, blood may flow — our iron-boned souls defend the land!"

"Steel blades ninety-nine strong — we swear not to rest till the alien scourge is gone!"

A soldier missing both hand and foot howled his last war cry. Facing a Scorpion warrior's descending blade, he thrust his spear with all his strength, piercing the enemy's heart. Though his body was cleaved in return, he died without regret — the battle song guiding him onward.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!!"

"Beasts rage, aliens roar — men grip blade and spear!"

"The blade is for decapitation, the spear to slay gods — neither gods nor demons shall stand in my way!"

"Eternal legacy built on white bones beneath the sky — I will slay a million for my kin!"

"Live as a hero, die as a warrior — let my undying soul bring peace to the world!"

"Today I abandon a thousand years of virtue — laughing over a river of alien blood!"

"I tread a mountain of bones, leave weakness behind — even if all races curse my name, no enemy shall mock me!"

These battle songs echoed across the battlefield — fueling the living, honoring the fallen.

The soldiers fought without fear, slaughtering aliens without hesitation. Even commoners shed fear and fought back. The foreign cultivators, their blood boiling, fought with battle-mad fervor.

They lived by the song, and died by it.

The power of the war songs shook even the enemy. Many alien warriors began to falter, their faith crumbling under the cutting verses.

"No more fighting! The king is gone!"

A gnoll warrior, pale-faced, trembled as if surrounded by enemies. Overwhelmed by fear, he turned and fled in terror.

Where one fled, others followed.

Without a leader, and having witnessed their commanders perish, panic spread like wildfire. Many alien warriors — their fighting spirit shattered — began to flee in droves.
