Chapter 0376: Ironblood Siege

A towering figure rose—like a massive mutated dinosaur.

The moment it appeared, a wave of destructive aura swept in all directions. Even the fierce beasts and vicious birds nearby instinctively backed away, driven by a primal fear of danger. That alone was enough to reveal how terrifying this creature was.

ROAR!!

The monstrous beast lifted its head and looked toward the void, locking onto the direction of Xuanhuang Town. Its eyes burned with fierce desire. Without hesitation, it began striding forward—heading straight for the town.

And it wasn't the only one.

In the wilderness, the number of ferocious beasts and predatory birds was simply overwhelming.

A sky-darkening murderous aura, dense as thunderclouds before a storm, gathered in the sky. An invisible pressure surged across heaven and earth like a tidal wave.

"What's going on? Why do I suddenly feel this ominous premonition—as if a great calamity is about to descend?" Yi Tianxing stood waiting inside the Heavenly Garment Pavilion as Cai Yan and Mu Guiying prepared themselves. A deep unease suddenly struck him.

It was a mysterious sensation, one he couldn't place. But it was strong—no weaker than the most perilous crises he had ever faced. If he wasn't careful, he could die here and now.

"Treasure! There's a treasure—it's mine! That treasure belongs to me! No one is allowed to steal it!"

A furious voice howled nearby.

Yi Tianxing stepped out and looked to the sky. There, the Green Emperor was riding a swirling green wind, circling madly above Xuanhuang Town while shouting hysterically. The green glow in its eyes was more intense than ever—radiating the aura of a beast that would fight to the death over a precious prize.

Howl!!

From the sky, two beams of light—one gold, one cyan—tore through the heavens and appeared above Xuanhuang Town.

It was the Golden Roc and the Windwing Dragon King.

They, too, had clearly been lured by something. The hunger and longing in their eyes were impossible to miss.

"Golden Roc, you want to steal my treasure too? Don't blame me for being rude! When I get angry, even I scare myself!"

The Green Emperor roared at the two beasts. The green fur on its body swayed violently in the wind, but even as it raged, a trace of fear glimmered in its eyes.

Yet the Golden Roc and Windwing Dragon King didn't back down. They hovered in the air, eyes locked on something unseen—deadly serious.

"Green Emperor, Golden Roc, get down here—now."

Yi Tianxing's voice boomed like thunder.

"No! There's treasure up here!" the Green Emperor shouted defiantly.

"What treasure? What kind of thing could attract even you lot?" Yi Tianxing's heart sank as a chill spread through him.

"I don't know what it is," barked the Green Emperor. "But I caught a whiff of some kind of strange fragrance. Something's up there—something invisible. I can feel it. If I eat it, I'll grow luscious green fur and become the true Green Emperor—peerless above and below the heavens. I'll be the strongest Dog Emperor in existence!"

It barked madly, eyes filled with urgent longing.

Something invisible in the sky... releasing an enticing scent... strong enough to lure even beasts like these. Yi Tianxing's expression darkened.

Even the Windwing Dragon King, who had been in the middle of hatching its egg, couldn't resist coming. The pull of this invisible treasure was unimaginably strong.

If it could affect these mighty creatures, it would surely affect every other beast and bird nearby as well.

And it was right over Xuanhuang Town.

This wasn't just dangerous. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

"My lord! I just used the Eye of Fatewatching, and I saw thick clouds of murderous energy forming over Xuanhuang Town. A great calamity is on the verge of breaking out. We must prepare immediately!"

Master Lu moved through the crowd like a swimming dragon, appearing before Yi Tianxing and speaking urgently.

"Even the Green Emperor and Golden Roc are acting like this. It's no coincidence. Something here is drawing them. Someone is plotting against us."

Jia Xu also arrived, his expression grave.

He looked up at the sky, faint suspicion glinting in his eyes. This wasn't random—it was a deliberate, hidden scheme.

"According to the Green Emperor, there's an invisible treasure in the sky, but it has a tremendous allure to beasts," Yi Tianxing said grimly.

"If that's true, we're about to face a dire crisis. Every beast and bird nearby could be drawn in like moths to a flame. A beast tide is imminent—perhaps already beginning."

Jia Xu's eyes gleamed coldly.

DONG DONG DONG!!

A resonant bell rang from the Ironblood Great Wall.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!!"

"Archers, fire!!"

"Divine Machine Battalion, triple volley!!"

Shouts rang out from the wall. Arrows rained down like a storm. Ballista bolts tore through the air with sharp screeches, followed by the dull crunch of them tearing through flesh.

"The beasts are already attacking the Ironblood Wall," Yi Tianxing said, his face dark.

He had expected it—but the speed of their arrival was still shocking.

"These are just the first wave—likely nearby stragglers. It's manageable for now. But if this builds into a real beast tide, and we're attacked from all directions, we're in for the greatest trial Xuanhuang Town has ever faced," said Wu Yong, clutching his feather fan tightly.

The tension in the air was suffocating—like the pressure before a storm.

"Good. Let them come. I don't know who's plotting against Xuanhuang Town—but since you've made your move, I'll take it head-on. Let's see if your schemes can destroy what we've built!"

Yi Tianxing's voice was calm, but brimming with fighting spirit.

Xuanhuang Town had been forged through blood, not gifted by anyone.

He, and everyone here, had never once feared war.

If they want war, they'll get rivers of blood. If they want destruction, we'll rain fire on the heavens.

"General Yang Ye."

"Here!" Yang Ye had already arrived.

"Return to the barracks. Mobilize all three armies. Leave 10,000 in reserve—the remaining 90,000 troops are to prepare for battle. Sharpen your blades, ready your arrows, and bring out the charms and rune bombs—supply them without limit. Let all soldiers prepare... to die!"

"We're ready!" Yang Ye responded without hesitation.

The moment the bell rang, every soldier had gathered. They were ready to fight. Ready to die. No retreat unless the blood ran dry.

Battle! Battle! Battle!!

"Right now, Xuanhuang Town only has one defensive wall—the Ironblood Great Wall. The other sides are exposed. If the beasts come from all directions, the destruction will multiply. A head-on fight will cost us dearly," said Jia Xu.

If they couldn't slow the beasts, the army—even as strong as it was—could be crushed.

"Relax. You want walls? We've got walls. The Ironblood Wall is our greatest defense. Our strongest fortress. Our indestructible arm."

Yi Tianxing's voice was full of certainty.

"Gather!!"

With a single word, his voice echoed through the sky.

WHOOSH!!

Suddenly, the distant Ironblood Great Wall erupted in a crimson light. Bathed in blood-red divine glow, the entire wall rose from the ground, soared into the air, and began to move toward Xuanhuang Town.

It swiftly circled the town, expanding and connecting end to end—forming a colossal ring that enclosed every structure inside.

Like a divine fortress, a seamless, indestructible wall now surrounded Xuanhuang Town.

"It can move?! The Ironblood Wall can actually transform into city walls! Incredible!"

Even the townsfolk were stunned, shouting in disbelief. They had never imagined the great wall could shift like this—becoming both a frontier defense and a city shield.

"Brother Yi, what happened?"

From inside the Heavenly Garment Pavilion, Cai Yan and Mu Guiying rushed out. They could feel the murderous tension thick in the air.

"A beast tide is coming," Yi Tianxing said.

Both women had changed into elegant new palace garments, their figures radiating grace—but he had no time to appreciate it.

"A beast tide?!" Mu Guiying was shocked.

"My Phoenix Zither and Melody of a Hundred Birds can suppress flying beasts. I'll join you on the wall," Cai Yan declared without hesitation.
