Chapter 0445: The Treasure Mirror

"Such powerful Yin Turtles... even the Yin-Yang Lock can't suppress them. The power of pure Yang does affect them, but only slightly. Is it because the grade of my Yin-Yang Lock divine ability isn't high enough, or is there another reason these Yin Turtles are unaffected by Yang energy?"

Yi Tianxing pondered silently.

This dangerous probe wasn't fruitless. The Yin Turtles weren't beings of the living world. Confirming their existence already dispelled some of the fear lurking in the darkness. Even if it was just the tip of the iceberg, some of the mine's secrets had been revealed. There was no doubt—it was a forbidden zone of life.

The mere presence of Yin Turtles was enough to stop any living creature in its tracks. This was truly a bone-littered death trap. And not just human remains—there were many beast carcasses too, in even greater numbers. Countless lives had perished in these shadows.

Unaffected by pure Yang energy—no wonder they were ranked among the Ten Great Ferocious Beings of the Netherworld.

"Brother, are those the Yin Turtles? There are so many... but I know you'll find a way to deal with them."

Little Nannan's face was filled with confidence. She seemed to have unwavering faith in Yi Tianxing, with no real reason behind it.

"I hope so too. But their numbers are overwhelming. We still don't fully understand what they're capable of. I've only gathered the most basic information."

Yi Tianxing gave a calm smile. These beasts of the Netherworld were just too strange, too mysterious.

"Then what should we do now?"Nannan looked to him for direction, her eyes wide with concern.

Everything she had seen and experienced in the mine had been beyond her imagination. Yet, despite all the corpses and horrifying creatures, she didn't panic. Her composure was part innate, part nurtured—but having such resolve at a young age meant her future held unlimited potential. Once she grew, she would surely astonish the world.

Yi Tianxing saw this clearly. Only with such strength of will could she hope to survive and grow strong even after leaving his side.

"There's nothing we need to do. We came for the Divine Source Mine, for the Divine Source itself and the immortal treasures that might form within it."He smiled.

"But we lost that fox lady. How will we get there now?"

"Don't worry. I don't know where we are exactly—our previous map is useless now. But finding the Divine Source Mine doesn't necessarily require a map."

He waved his hand toward the treasure tower Nannan was holding. Suddenly, a bronze mirror emerged and hovered before them.

It was the Spirit-Linking Treasure Mirror (通灵宝镜).

Refined inside the tower with the essence of heaven and earth, the mirror had reached an impressive tier among Yellow-grade artifacts. It had grown much stronger—capable of detecting ore veins, spirit veins, and even glimpses of fate when fully developed.

Though it hadn't yet reached the point of divining destiny, locating the Divine Source Mine was well within its abilities.

"This is the Spirit-Linking Treasure Mirror. It can help us find the Divine Source."

As Yi Tianxing held the mirror, he activated it with a thought. A mystical power rippled outward, and images began to flash across its surface.

Passages, tunnels, scattered white bones... all flitted rapidly across the screen.

Then, a brilliant divine glow appeared. Gentle and eternal, it didn't dazzle but exuded a radiant clarity.

"There it is—southeast."

Yi Tianxing's eyes lit up. Such a concentrated light couldn't be from a mere crystal vein. The mirror had locked onto the Divine Source Mine, though it couldn't chart a precise route. Whether they could reach it depended on their own strength.

Boom!

Without hesitation, Yi Tianxing kicked the stone wall before him. With a thunderous crack, it collapsed, revealing a new tunnel.

The mine was a web of interlinked tunnels—some with walls thin enough to breach. For ordinary people, it would be pointless to punch through blindly. But with the Spirit-Linking Treasure Mirror, Yi Tianxing had a clear destination. Creating direct paths became the shortcut.

His blows caused no structural collapse; the cuts were precise, as if cleanly excavated.

"Let's go find the Divine Source."

Smiling, he took Nannan's hand and stepped through.

Boom!

Moving directly toward the Divine Source's position, Yi Tianxing smashed through every obstacle—stone or passage—without hesitation.

"Nannan, remember—there are no roads in this world. It's the need that creates them. Roads may be paved by others, but they can also be carved by yourself. As long as you reach your goal, that's victory."

"I understand."

Nannan nodded thoughtfully.

This method of cutting straight through eliminated so much wasted distance. Corpses encountered along the way were swiftly collected into the treasure tower.

They drew ever closer to the Divine Source.

Then, another wall shattered—and a cold wind swept over them.

Yi Tianxing stiffened. The Yin energy was so intense it made his skin crawl.

"Brother!"

Nannan felt it too, though she remained unharmed thanks to the treasure tower.

"Brother! There's a hairy corpse right behind you!"

She pointed, startled. A red-furred corpse stood silently at Yi Tianxing's back, its appearance unnoticed until now. The red fur was eerily vivid in the darkness.

Whoosh!

Yi Tianxing reacted instantly, shifting his stance and turning. But as he looked, the red-furred corpse vanished.

"Its eyes...!"

Though he hadn't seen the whole creature, he'd caught a glimpse of crimson eyes glowing in the dark. Just that flash had sent a chill through his soul—like being marked by death itself.

It made his scalp tingle.

"Something's here. I didn't sense a thing—it completely avoided my spiritual detection. All I saw were its eyes. That's not something alive..."

Yi Tianxing's back was slick with cold sweat. That thing had gotten too close. Had it attacked, he'd be dead. That was no exaggeration.

At high levels, killing became frighteningly easy.

"It looked like a red-furred monster—almost like a hairy ape. It had fangs. Its eyes were shut until you turned around, then they opened... and it disappeared."Nannan was visibly shaken.

"Doesn't matter. It didn't attack. Let's keep going."

Yi Tianxing took a deep breath, his expression grave. He pressed forward again, unwilling to waste time.

This mine was full of mysteries and dangers—but they had to push forward.

Another wall broke away.

Gaaa-ggaa-ggaaa!!

A series of eerie cries rang out. Bone-chilling. But when they tried to investigate—nothing. No enemy. No trace.

"Brother... I think something just breathed on my neck."

Nannan's voice trembled. She clung to his arm tightly.

Yi Tianxing turned quickly—but again, nothing was there.

"Don't look back. Keep going."

There was no going back now. If needed, the space gate could be used to escape by force.

Hee-hee-hee...

"One, two, three, night is near. Everyone hide, let's play, my dear.Seven friends, find your place...Let's all play a hiding game."

"Big brother, big sister—come play hide-and-seek..."

Suddenly, childish laughter echoed in their ears.
