Chapter 0710 – Brother

Above his head, the Starry Sky Wandering Talisman suddenly emerged in the void.It turned into a stream of light and shot into the air.

In the blink of an eye, a multicolored tunnel burst open in the void. The tunnel glimmered with endless starlight, seemingly connecting to some mysterious domain. A powerful pulling force naturally emanated from within.

Yi Tianxing didn't resist. His body was naturally drawn into the void tunnel.

Whoosh!

In the next instant, with a flash of light, Yi Tianxing vanished from the golden desert.

At that moment, deep within General Valley, inside a crystal coffin buried beneath the earth, a pair of eyes suddenly opened. Those eyes seemed to pierce through the void and perceive the Nine Netherworlds, gleaming with a curious spark.

"He really left."

On the oasis, Feng Xianlin stood still, watching as Yi Tianxing disappeared into the void tunnel. His face revealed a look of astonishment.

He hadn't expected Yi Tianxing to directly open a void passage and traverse space. This power was nothing short of astonishing—certainly not something a Fate Aperture realm cultivator could achieve.

This was a force akin to the power of heaven and earth.

It had to be the intervention of a supreme being that forcibly opened the passage.

"Brother Feng, I thought we could live freely here in General Valley. But now even the valley is destroyed. That means I, Yue Qiang, must shoulder the responsibility of reviving the Yue clan. If I can't be a general, I must follow heaven's will. I'll find another oasis and build a village—create a foundation for my people. When we meet again, I hope we won't be enemies."

Mounted on his steed, Yue Qiang spoke to Feng Xianlin.

"Mhm. General Valley no longer exists. The things that once bound us are gone. What happens next... let fate decide."

Feng Xianlin nodded calmly.

The destruction of General Valley was destiny. It left them no place to hide in peace.

They were fated to stir up the storm.

"Take care!"

"Take care!"

With those parting words, they gave each other a blessing that only they could understand.

This was already the second time Yi Tianxing had traversed such a tunnel—one that felt like time and space itself.

Within it, he saw multicolored light flowing on all sides—not just light, but...

Fragments of time and space—scenes drawn from countless voids he rapidly passed through.

He focused, using his Innate Yin-Yang Eyes, and even within this chaotic void, he was able to perceive some of the images flashing around him. They were happening now.

He saw foreign races breaking into villages, slaughtering and capturing humans while laughing wildly amidst corpses.

He saw ferocious beasts destroying towns, devouring humans as blood sacrifices. The scenes were gruesome beyond belief.

He also saw humans fighting back against the beasts and foreign races, killing them by the hundreds.

He saw foreign races battling each other, fighting over rare treasures and magical relics.

Each image flashed by in an instant—so fast that without extraordinary eyesight, it would've been impossible to make out anything.

"Hmm? That's Nannan!"

Just as he was about to pull his focus back, a stream of light flickered before his eyes—a sudden image that struck him like lightning.

Without hesitation, he cast a divine power toward the tunnel.

A golden light shot forward, piercing through the tunnel and vanishing.

"Nannan, please be safe."

Yi Tianxing's expression turned grim.

What he had seen wasn't good.

He had seen Nannan being hunted down. Several bodies lay near her, her small form covered in blood, grievously wounded.

She was on the brink of death.

He didn't know if what he saw was real, but the scene ignited a raging fire in his heart.

Eternal Continent – In the wilderness

A girl, no older than eight or nine, ran desperately.

A Divine Movement Talisman was stuck to her back, pushing her speed to the limit.

But her injuries held her back—her speed wasn't enough.

Behind her, three men and two women chased with cruel expressions.

"Little runt! You really thought you could keep that treasure for yourself? That Enlightenment Tea is ours! Think you can escape? Dream on!"

"She even killed Old Seven and Old Eight. She must have other precious items. Kill her, and they're all ours!"

"Surrender and hand over the treasures, and we'll give you a whole corpse. Otherwise—we'll chop you to bits and use you as bait for beasts!"

Their voices echoed through the wilderness.

"Don't even think about it! That Enlightenment Tea—I found it! Just a few leaves, but I need them. That tea helps you comprehend the Dao, boosts your understanding. I want to grow stronger! I need to find my big brother! I won't give you the tea!"

Nannan's voice was full of resolve. Not a shred of fear or surrender.

"Then die!"

One man raised a flying dagger, ready to hurl it at her.

In her current state, she couldn't dodge it.

CRACK!!

Just then, a rift tore open in the sky.

A golden radiance burst out. A terrifying aura surged across the land.

A massive golden seal descended through the rift.

From it came a roar—the cries of dragons and elephants. Time seemed to freeze around them.

The attackers found themselves completely paralyzed, unable to move.

Flesh Body Divine Power – Suppression Prison Seal (镇狱印)

With no hesitation, the seal slammed down onto them.

BOOM!!!

The ground trembled violently. In an instant, the attackers were obliterated, torn apart into clouds of blood.

It was a strike born of fury—over a million jin of force, devastating beyond measure.

"Nannan!!"

Yi Tianxing's voice echoed from within the seal.

"Big Brother... is that you?"

Nannan had been moments from death, but now her pursuers were crushed into bloody pulp.

And that voice—faint but familiar—rang in her ears.

Her eyes lit up.

It was him. It had to be him.

"Big Brother, was it you? Did you know I was in danger? Why won't you come see me? Nannan... misses you so much."

She stared at the sky where the Suppression Prison Seal had faded, her eyes dimming.

"Big Brother, wait for me. I won't die. I'll stay alive. I'll come find you. I'll wait for you to find me. Nannan... will not die!"

She turned back toward the wilderness with steely determination.

She hadn't seen him—but that didn't matter.

She would live. She had to.

In this chaotic world, only the strong survive.

Xuanhuang City – Lord's Manor – Meditation Chamber

Yi Tianxing's true body still sat cross-legged on a meditation mat, instinctively absorbing the world's essence. The Starry Sky Wandering Talisman floated nearby, flickering with ancient radiance.

Suddenly, the talisman burst with intense starlight.

A star gate opened.

From it stepped a figure identical to his true body.

"I'm back."

The avatar stepped through the gate and merged into Yi Tianxing's body without hesitation.

BOOM!

Avatar and true body became one.

In that instant, a powerful aura erupted from within.

His physical body strengthened. His avatar's cultivation and experience all flowed into the true body.

His realm, his power—all rose together.

Within him, the Black Armor Fate Aperture and Dragon Scale Fate Aperture fused. From this fusion, the Chaos War Dragon Robe began to manifest in his Fate Apertures.

Everything blended together perfectly.

"Nannan... please be okay."

There was no joy on Yi Tianxing's face—only deep, unshakable concern.

The image from the void tunnel still haunted him.

"To hunt a little girl like that... those bastards are inhuman."

He snorted coldly, his gaze burning with rage.

If he could go there—if he had the means—he'd tear them to pieces himself.

Alas, for now, he couldn't.

If he could, he'd already brought Nannan home. Now, more than ever, he regretted not being able to do so back then.

"Finally back, huh? Another minute and you'd have missed quite the spectacle."

A flash of light came from below him. Yi Tianxie appeared.

"The Beastmen, the Behemoth King, and the mastermind behind the scenes... right?"

Avatar and true body shared one consciousness. Upon merging, everything that happened in Xuanhuang City was instantly known to him.

He understood it all as if he'd experienced it personally.

"Good. Very good. They really think Xuanhuang City is a pushover? That anyone can walk in and trample on us?"

Yi Tianxing sneered coldly.

Xuanhuang City had never lacked spine. And neither had he.
