Chapter 0712: The Night of the Full Moon

"Haha! Brothers and sisters, there's no need to be reserved. Here in our Xuanhuang City, we are all brothers, friends—family. No one will bully you here. As long as you're willing to work hard, no one will go hungry. Here, you can learn cultivation techniques, become cultivators, and hunt fierce beasts in exchange for resources. Everyone has the chance to grow stronger."

"That's right! If we work hard and grow strong, no one can bully us again. If we stand united, even the fierce beasts and alien races won't gain a single advantage over us. The orc coalition came with tens of millions of troops, and yet we stopped them dead at the Great Wall. Their corpses float across the battlefield. They couldn't breach our city. Xuanhuang City isn't to be trifled with!"

"Once you're registered and receive your Heavenly Registration Card, come with us to the Great Wall. You'll experience the battlefield firsthand. Then you'll understand—no one in Xuanhuang City is a coward. We're all warriors who fight foreign invaders! I've stood on that wall myself. Don't be afraid—use the Divine Crossbows to shoot at those beasts and orcs. I've killed beasts and earned military merits!"

"We humans may be born frail, but we are not the blood-feed that other races call us. We can cultivate, we can grow strong. Even alien races cannot insult us lightly. We people of Xuanhuang City do not kneel before outsiders or strong foes. We believe only in the sword and the blade in our hands."

Seeing the somewhat tense new arrivals in the city, many veteran citizens of Xuanhuang City approached with cheerful smiles, explaining the ways of the city in a few short sentences.

They gave brief introductions about Xuanhuang City.

Soon, Jia Yucun, the Lord of the Heavenly Registry Hall, sent people to escort the new citizens to register and receive their Heavenly Registration Cards, making them official members of the city.

Most people quickly adapted and followed the arrangements, heading toward the Registry Hall.

A large number of workers were already prepared there, dividing the newcomers into a hundred groups to conduct registration and card issuance simultaneously. Their goal was to complete the process as swiftly as possible.

Once registered, guides led the new citizens through Xuanhuang City, walking along its streets and absorbing the unique atmosphere of a civilization unlike any other they had known.

They saw many strange and wondrous things.

Many items previously distributed by Yi Tianxing could now be found in local shops.

As they toured, they also learned about the city's history, development, and major events.

The residents were proud and open, eager to share this history with newcomers.

Time passed unknowingly, and night fell.

Tonight, the sky was completely clear. A bright full moon rose, cold and luminous. It loomed large in the sky, making one feel as if under its direct gaze.

Upon the Iron-Blood Great Wall, countless figures had gathered.

Not only the original troops of Xuanhuang City were present, but also the one million soldiers from General Valley, including Hua Mulan and Xue Kunlun. They had all climbed the wall.

Even the newly arrived civilians stood atop the wall.

If the Iron-Blood Great Wall hadn't been expanded repeatedly, it would never have accommodated such a crowd. Yet, even so, not everyone could find room atop the wall.

Looking across the battlefield beyond the wall, the orc army still held their position. At its center sat a massive golden throne, upon which the Golden Behemoth King sat silently, his eyes closed, seemingly conserving his strength for the inevitable battle to come.

No one spoke. One could clearly feel an invisible pressure growing across the battlefield, making it hard to breathe.

A mighty aura loomed in the air.

"Fight! The more blood spilled, the better! Once one dies, it becomes a battle to the death. This war shall never end. That's the paradise of my Blood Demon Clan." Hidden in the shadows, the Blood Demon Patriarch sneered in his heart.

He had been watching closely, hoping to see death and chaos.

"Senior Brother, who do you think will win this fight?"Members of the Cold Mountain Sword Sect stood on the wall, one of them asking curiously.

"Hard to say. The Golden Behemoth is a royal in the orc tribe—a natural warlord, a true God of Battle. Wherever he goes, he is invincible. As for the Lord of Xuanhuang City, he rose from nothing, forging his domain through endless bloodshed. He's never lost. No one knows how strong he truly is."

The senior brother shook his head—this was a battle too unpredictable to call.

Speculations buzzed among the crowd.

Then, as if a long time had passed—or only a moment—the moon reached its peak in the sky.

"Yi Tianxing, come fight me!!"

The Golden Behemoth King's golden eyes snapped open, gleaming with sharp killing intent and unwavering will. His voice echoed coldly across the battlefield.

"I accept your challenge!!"

A voice replied, resounding through the sky.

People turned to look. From the City Lord's Mansion, a figure in a black robe stepped into the air. Every step he took shrank space beneath him—shrinking the ground into inches. Each stride was several meters long.

Bathed in moonlight, he seemed to be walking on moonbeams.

"Kill!!"

The Behemoth King rose from his golden throne, stepping forward decisively. With that step, his body expanded like an inflated balloon, rapidly growing.

First step: 15 zhang tall (approx. 50m)

Second step: 23 zhang

Third step: 35 zhang

With each step, his body swelled. When he reached the battlefield's center, he stood at 60–70 zhang tall. His golden fur glowed like fire. His feet became claws; his hands turned into massive golden talons. A terrifying energy storm burst from his body.

Golden Behemoth!

As he revealed his true form, his terrifying aura exploded outward. At that moment, he was the undisputed master of the battlefield—his pressure surpassing even giants.

Yi Tianxing walked atop moonlight; the Behemoth King advanced upon the earth.

Without hesitation, the Behemoth King let out a savage roar.

He struck with a claw. A golden talon slashed at Yi Tianxing, emitting a fearsome edge sharp enough to tear through anything. The air warped as though space itself might be torn.

But with the world's fusion progressing, space had become much more stable. Tearing the void was no longer so easy. Still, to distort space was fearsome enough.

That claw blotted out the sky—a flawless attack containing the essence of battlefield slaughter, aimed to kill in one decisive blow.

"Suppress!!"

Yi Tianxing responded instantly, black hair whipping behind him. A golden seal appeared in his hand: the Prison Suppression Seal (镇狱印). Accompanied by the roar of dragons and elephants, he smashed it toward the giant claw.

Boom!!

A massive explosion rang out. Shockwaves swept outward like a Category 12 hurricane. Sparks flew as the Prison Suppression Seal struck the golden talons—like iron smashing iron.

Despite containing over a million jin of force, the attack merely made the Behemoth King's arm tremble slightly. The claw radiated a divine light of destruction before both attacks dissipated.

Combat Technique — Heaven-Rending Divine Claw (裂天神爪)!!

"What a powerful body. No wonder he's royalty among the orcs. His body is like vajra steel," Yi Tianxing thought with solemn respect.

That one exchange had already revealed vital information. The Behemoth King's body was fearsomely strong—a born warlord. Even the Prison Suppression Seal couldn't harm him.

Life Aperture — Vajra (金刚)!!

This was a naturally awakened Life Aperture of the Golden Behemoth race. Once activated, the body became like vajra—indestructible and golden. Unless facing a force beyond its limits, the Vajra Battle Body could not be broken.

"Be severed!!"

Yi Tianxing hovered in midair, divine light flashing in his eyes. A giant pair of scissors appeared, suffused with yin and yang qi. With a dragon's roar, it transformed into two dragons—one black, one white—rushing toward the Behemoth King.

This was: Yin-Yang Life Aperture — Yin-Yang Scissors (阴阳剪)!!

The twin dragons cut through the battlefield at lightning speed.

Clang!!

Before the Behemoth King could react, the scissors appeared at his neck, ready to decapitate him.

But the unthinkable happened.

When the scissors bit into his neck, they let out a screech of grinding metal. Sparks flew. Cutting through his flesh was agonizingly slow—as if a dull blade was sawing stone.

"Such petty divine abilities won't harm me!!"

The Behemoth King roared furiously.
