The Clockwork Oracle

In a sprawling city powered by intricate clockwork mechanisms, cartridge powers and shrouded in perpetual mist, an ancient oracle—a sentient, gear-driven machine—predicts the exact moment of every citizen's death. The catch? The oracle's predictions are revealed only to a select few, known as the Marked, who are chosen at random and branded with a ticking tattoo that counts down their remaining time.



When Style, a young thief with no memory of her past, is Marked with only 30 days to live, she must unravel the oracle's cryptic riddles to defy her fate. Along the way, she uncovers a conspiracy that threatens to topple the city's rigid order and discovers that her lost memories hold the key to the oracle's true purpose.
