021 Sage Art vs Mangekyou

Amaterasu is a technique that's nearly impossible to dodge, except for someone like the Raikage, with inhuman reflexes and the Lightning Style Body Flicker.

Even with Sage Mode boosting perception and physical abilities, it's still not enough to avoid visual jutsu like Amaterasu.

When Itachi and Sasuke fought, there was a famous moment with this very move… anyone who knows, knows.

Black flames erupted on Naruto's body, and the searing heat made his face tighten in pain.

"Ugh… It's so hot! I'm really going to burn alive at this rate!"

In a past battle, Sasuke had also used Amaterasu on Naruto. Back then, Naruto relied on the Nine Tails' chakra to isolate and peel the flames off.

But now, the Nine Tails refused to help and had even cut off their chakra link. That method was no longer an option.

All the black flames of Amaterasu were pulled into the center of the scroll. In the middle, the kanji for "fire" appeared, surrounded by intricate black sealing symbols.

Though Naruto's body had been burned by the flames, sealing them was still a success—it couldn't be avoided.

The spectators nearby watched in awe.

Konan: "That's Jiraiya-sensei's technique…"

Orochimaru: "Even while being burned by Amaterasu, he managed to perform such a complex sealing jutsu. That takes extreme endurance and precision… Naruto-kun, just what did you go through while I was sealed away to grow this much?"

Obito: "He and Sasuke… they're no longer on the same level."

Naruto calmly stood up, put away the scroll and pen, and said,

"Want to keep going, Sasuke?"

"Don't get cocky, you loser!" Sasuke snapped. Rage burned in his heart, and in response, a dark purple chakra burst out of his body!

Karin trembled: This chakra… it's as cold as an ice pit…

The purple chakra twisted and hardened, forming the shape of a massive skeletal figure.

"What are you going to do now?" 

Sasuke's voice dripped with confidence. "This is Susanoo!"

Naruto's expression turned serious. He formed a hand seal with four fingers in front of his chest poof! A shadow clone appeared.

The clone infused Wind Style into the Rasengan that formed in Naruto's left hand.

Buzz, buzz, buzz...!

With a sharp whistling sound, wind blades gathered into a powerful sphere—Naruto's Rasenshuriken!

Sasuke's eyes widened in shock. "What is that…? Wind Style… an upgraded Rasengan!?"

Bang!

The Shadow Clone vanished.

"I've got you, Sasuke!!!"

Naruto charged up and hurled the jutsu toward him.

Whoosh!!

The spinning shuriken cut through the air toward Sasuke, who stood firm, relying on Susanoo to defend.

BOOM!!!!

The massive blast exploded, swallowing the area around Sasuke in a storm of destructive wind.

"Ahhh—!!"

The shockwave blew back Shigeo and others fighting nearby, forcing them to retreat.

Crack! Crack!

Within the storm, the sound of bones snapping echoed

Karin screamed, "Sasuke!!!"

As the storm faded, Sasuke remained standing. But his Susanoo was almost completely destroyed, only a thin layer of purple chakra still shielded his body.

Sasuke looked down, his shoulders shaking, face dark and full of frustration.

"Again and again…"

Crack! Crack! Crack!

New bone spikes began to grow from the remains of the purple chakra!

Sasuke suddenly looked up, eyes wild with fury.

"How many times are you going to push me before you're satisfied, huh?!"

The dark purple skeleton rose again. Overflowing chakra formed muscles and flesh around it, then a layer of armor

Susanoo evolved to the next stage!

Obito watched silently. "Yes… that's it. Keep pushing Sasuke forward, Naruto."

In Susanoo's left hand appeared a massive, elegant longbow. In its right hand, a glowing, powerful arrow.

Naruto's eyes narrowed. That's the Bow of Ama no Maga… Sasuke's Susanoo weapon!

Swish, swish, swish!

Sasuke drew the bow and aimed straight at Naruto!

"!"

Naruto immediately pushed his Sage Mode senses to the max. He bent back, gathering chakra in his left hand

Sage Art: Massive Rasengan!

Boom!!

The Rasengan collided with the arrow just in time, knocking it off course. 

The arrow flew past and exploded in the forest behind, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Sasuke didn't react much, after seeing what Naruto was capable of, he wasn't surprised his first shot had been blocked.

"Huff... huff... every cell in my body hurts. So this is what Itachi felt back then…"

Sasuke panted heavily, enduring the intense pain. He formed another arrow, placed it on the bowstring, and drew it back with force.

"Don't think the same trick will work twice. I'm putting everything into this arrow, you won't be able to stop it!"

Whoosh!!!

The powerful arrow sliced through the air with terrifying speed.

Snap!

"No choice…" Naruto bit his finger, pressed his hand to the ground

Orochimaru's eyes sparkled. "That's…"

Triple Rashomon!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three giant demonic gates, spiked with iron and ringing with bells, rose in front of Naruto.

Boom! Boom... Crack!

The arrow pierced through the first and second gates, then embedded halfway into the third, its tip stopping just a meter from Naruto.

Poof!

The gates vanished in smoke, taking the arrow with them.

Snow drifted through the Iron Country. Sasuke, his vision blurred from overusing his eyes, stared at Naruto and asked quietly, "Naruto… who are you?"

Naruto replied calmly, "I'm your friend. In the past, now, and always. That hasn't changed."

"Friend…? Heh…" Sasuke let out a strange laugh, then asked darkly, "If I wanted to destroy the village, would you help me? Answer me!"

"Hmm…" Naruto gently touched his chin, eyes full of quiet years.

"How about… using my right hand this time?"
