Naruto really didn't know how to describe it...
These Konoha's villagers are so enthusiastic!
To be honest, he didn't even need a wooden cabin out here in the woods for training.
If he wanted to rest, he could just create a portal and head straight home.
There is no need to go through so much trouble.
But Naruto really couldn't resist these enthusiastic uncles, who kept scrambling to build a wooden cabin for him.
He felt kind of bad turning them down.
It can't be helped.
Facing such enthusiastic uncles, it would be really rude to refuse.
Meanwhile, Sasuke was dumbfounded as he watched this group of people managed to put together a full-on wooden cabin in under an hour right where they were.
"Uchiha Sasuke?"
"Why are you here too?"
After seeing off those enthusiastic Konoha's villagers, Naruto spotted Sasuke in the distance.
Though the kid looked... a little foolish.
"N-Nothing…"
"I was just passing by."
Sasuke reacted and quickly turned his head away, not daring to look at Naruto.
He even cursed himself for being an idiot in his heart.
'This guy is so strong… He didn't need any warning!'
Sasuke felt very embarrassed when he thought of how panicked he'd been earlier. He glanced at Naruto out of the corner of his eye, then walked back in the direction he came from without looking back.
Naruto watched him go, then scratched his head and looked in the direction the villagers had left.
'What on earth is going on today?'
'Why is everyone acting so weird...?'
"Whatever. Time to go home and eat."
Naruto said to himself, then threw out a portal and teleported back home to eat.
"Oh, right, Big Fox."
"Did you help me check the Chakra levels of those kids in the classroom today?"
That night, Naruto suddenly remembered this and asked curiosly.
He actually wanted to know how big the gap was between himself and the others.
"What's there to look at?"
"That Uchiha kid has the most Chakra out of all of them."
Naruto recalled the previous detection of Sasuke's Chakra and asked hesitantly, "0.5 Ma?"
"No, his Chakra is already 5 Ma now."
When Naruto heard that Sasuke's Chakra had increased tenfold, he sharply inhaled.
"Hiss…"
"That boy is so terrifying, he must not be allowed to live!"
Kurama: …
'What the hell is this brat going on about again?'
'It's just 5 Ma. You, someone with 100 Ma, would still be scared by a little kid like that?'
Kurama didn't understand and just thought that Naruto was just being weird again.
Realizing Kurama wasn't picking up on the joke, Naruto felt somewhat bored.
'Alas... this is one downside to transmigrating.'
'Nobody gets your references, it's not interesting at all.'
Naruto tugged up his blanket, said goodnight to Kurama, and quickly drifted off to sleep.
…
In the days that followed, Naruto ran to the Academy every morning to attend a class, just in time to show his face in front of Iruka and tease the little loli Hinata.
Then, in the afternoon, he ran to the grove by the river to start training.
It can be said to be a very disciplined daily schedule.
As for Naruto skipping the rest of his classes, Hiruzen was aware and deeply troubled... but he still couldn't do a thing about it.
If he hadn't personally talked with Naruto before... Naruto probably wouldn't even show up for morning class.
And even when he was in the Academy, all he did was chat with his seatmate or sleep on his desk...
To Hiruzen, Naruto had become the most headache-inducing kid he'd seen in years.
He's even more troublesome than Kushina and Obito back then.
The most important thing was… Naruto was incredibly strong, so there was genuinely no way to criticize his performance.
After much deliberation, Hiruzen realized he truly had no way to control Naruto, he simply let him train on his own.
But as an extra precaution, Hiruzen instructed Guy and Kakashi to keep an eye on Naruto, to ensure he didn't recklessly push himself to injury during training.
As for the rumors in the village about the demon fox...
Now, not a single person dared to speak up.
Ever since Naruto demonstrated what it meant to be 'born with divine strength' by the river, no civilian dared to whisper about what should be done with him.
After all…
If they really pissed him off, everyone was afraid Naruto would just uproot a tree and smash their houses to pieces with a few swings.
Who in their right mind would provoke someone like that?!
And so, without even realizing it, Naruto had once again dispelled the malicious rumors in Konoha.
…
"Naruto..."
"Where... where did you go this afternoon?"
In the classroom, after being teased by Naruto for several days, Hinata had finally developed some resistance and wasn't as shy as before, so she began to ask Naruto where he was going.
"I'm going to train."
Naruto replied absentmindedly, as his consciousness was actually still in the sealed space discussing the next training plan with Kurama.
Last night, he'd discovered he could split his focus, keeping half his awareness in the sealed space while the other half remained outside.
The only downside was that it made his real-world actions seem... odd.
Since he couldn't react in time, sometimes his movements were just like the high-ping characters in the online games of his previous life… jerky, laggy, or taking forever to respond.
"I see…"
Hinata's eyes dimmed and she felt utterly useless.
'Naruto is so powerful, yet he is still so hardworking.'
Compared to herself, who only train at home for a while at night, Hinata felt extremely ashamed.
'It would be nice if I could train with Naruto...'
"Hey, Hinata, why don't we train together?"
Naruto suddenly withdrew his consciousness from the sealed space, then turned around and said something to Hinata that instantly turned her face scarlet.
"Eh... Eh?!"
Thud…
The sheer shock and joy overwhelmed Hinata, causing her to faint face-first onto the desk.
Naruto scratched his head, feeling helpless.
'This shy little girl still had a long way to go...'
The reason he wanted to train with Hinata was because Hinata's Byakugan could see the flow of Chakra in the human body.
If possible, he'd have loved to drag Sasuke along too.
After all, from what Naruto remembered in the anime, the Sharingan could perceive Chakra flow when the enemy is using a Ninjutsu, and even copy the Ninjutsu.
At first glance, the function seems to be similar to the Byakugan's, as both could observe Chakra within the body.
Naruto just wasn't sure what the exact differences were.
As for why he needed the Byakugan and Sharingan...
It's because, after discussing it with Kurama, Naruto had the idea of studying Guy's Eight Gates and then developing his own Forbidden Technique.
When he thinks about activating the Six Paths Sage Mode in the future, playing with the deadly pitch-black balls, and finally saying 'Open The Gates', he felt invincible!
Though Kurama didn't understand why Naruto was obsessed with that green bowl-cut's Taijutsu. After all, he believed Naruto could already dominate the world with just his power.
But in the end, Kurama just shrugged and went along with it.
Anyway, Naruto's physique is different from that of ordinary people. And under normal circumstances, he can't be killed as long as he still has a breath left. So he might as well let him do whatever.
…
"Hinata?"
"Ah... Naruto-kun, y-you're too close!"
Naruto was anxious to get Hinata to go with him, so he leaned next to her and woke her up in advance.
"But..."
"But... if I skip class, Father will be angry..."
Hinata said with some hesitation.
Although she really wanted to skip classes and go train with Naruto, her father would definitely scold her if he found out about this.
"You can come after school!"
"Then it's settled! I'll come find you when school ends, okay?"
Naruto flashed her a grin, then under the stunned gazes of the entire class, he walked right out of the room, causing the veins on Iruka's forehead to bulge with anger.
'Can't this kid wait until the class is over before going out?!'
'Did he have to humiliate me like this?!'
Iruka sighed, and he seemed to understand how Hiruzen felt.
'This kid is really a nightmare...'
…
After leaving the Academy, Naruto stealthily wandered through the village, searching for the green bowl-cut guy.
He wanted to observe how the other party usually trained first.
Hiruzen saw Naruto through the crystal ball and knew that he was going to find Guy...
'It's over…'
'This Kyubi's Jinchuriki looks like he's really going to be useless...'
'What kind of human weapon abandons Ninjutsu to focus on Taijutsu of all things?!'
Hiruzen took a deep drag from his pipe, then promptly assigned Guy a mission outside the village.
'As long as Guy isn't in the village...'
'This kid probably won't study Taijutsu anymore, right?'
