Ann’s pov……
“Good morning pretty lady” I heard him say and slowly open my eyes, realizing where I was, I jolted up from my sleep to a smiley face staring at me “I'm so sorry, I slept off while watching you” I said as I tried to get off the bed, he immediately blocked my way “don't worry Ann sit and have breakfast” he said placing the breakfast tray on me still in bed ‘he had served me breakfast in bed!’
I couldn't help but melt in sweetness as I munched on the fresh croissant and eggs, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air returned to the bedroom, he had left the room and returned with a plate piled high with pancakes in his hand and his cup of coffee, that was his, my eyes sparkled and I guess he saw it cause he asked, with a warm smile gracing his lips. "I hope this makes you feel better today."
I stretched, a lazy smile spreading across my face. "Much better," I replied.
"Thanks for your amazing soup last night, it did good for my cold." he said with sincerity in his tone.
I chuckled. "It was bland, yet you make it sound like it was a gourmet meal."
He sat down with his breakfast beside me, our conversation nowflowing easily. "So," he said, taking a sip of his coffee, "about Belle..."
I sighed. "Yeah, go hear what she needs to say . Find out what she wants."
"I've been putting it off and she's been flooding my mails with invitations and please to accept," Williams pointed out gently. "And the fact she has been visiting my mom too I need to fix that with her." he went on and I couldn't help but enjoy the thoughtfulness in his communication
"I know you both aren't on soft grounds, but I just want to make sure I get your consent to proc with the meeting”
I looked at him, appreciating his honesty and concern. "You're right," I conceded. "You can meet with her when you are ready, though we both know the root of this meeting." I went on “ And I'd like to know what else she under her sleeve to stop this from happening”
As I finished my breakfast and watch him run around trying to get in order to leave couldn't help but feel how belle could manage to have control over the men in my life as easily as she does, but as he threw a glance at me,a sense of resolve and relief settled over me. She couldn't have this one and I had made sure of that, knowing it wouldn't be easy, but he went on to do this anyway, for both himself and I and I shouldn't be letting my feelings get in the way of my resort for revenge and his offer to help me achieve it. I was ready to face whatever came next.

Williams pov….
When the address came in I didn't notice the location up until I was driving right through it to the parking lot, she had invited him to a hotel same one we where supposed to meet at first, walking into the restaurant floor I used my eyes to scan around for any unwanted attention and to also locate our table, which wasn't a hurdle as she had already been waving at me the moment I came in such an attention seeker she was.
“Welcome, and thank you soo much for coming” she yabbed as I made to sit.
“ its okay, I had to accept seeing how you kept flooding my mail” I said what I said, watching her to make sure what I said did exactly what I intend it to do.
“Oh Williams you don't have to put it that way” she giggled, obviously pushing aside the shade
“ I can't keep away Williams” she sighs as she tries to reach for my hands but I push back “and lets be sincere, Ann is wrong the fact is she double crossed me to get to you and its unacceptable and you should have condemned her instead of encouraging it”
“ I don't understand you belle” I said needing more of her prudeness than what she was letting out.
“Williams she is adopted! She's no legitimate child and knowing how renowned your family is this was only going to push your ratings down, I know.” she said and it instantly hit a nerve I never knew existed.
“Belle what are you trying to say?”
“All I'm trying to say is you give this a thought before you jump into anything you will regret”
“And who says I will regret this” I asked almost immediately, cutting her short.
“Uuurrff… look Williams I'm looking out for you, she has nothing to offer besides a position which don't be hers anymore anytime soon” she pushed, frustration growing in her expression she wasn't getting what she wanted.
“Well, at least God knows I tried,
congratulations nevertheless I wish you both well”
“Well thank you, now you make sense”
“ I was just looking out for you, for your family but your minds made up as someone who cares about you all I can do is celebrate with you” she said and a waiter walked up to us to take our order, none had approached us up until now.
“Good day sir, ma'am welcome to the sky nova tower, can I get you something to drink while you scan our menu for your order?” he asked looking from me to belle
“I have a room here and maybe I will take my order to my room when I'm ready, thanks” belle responded to him smiling and turning to me, “okay then, there's something I need to show you, some financial documents I would like you to help me review please”
I could say no, but at this point helping out with something that little felt like the least I could do for her
“ Okay, I think I have a few minutes to spare” I said smiling as she led the way and I followed behind her.
Walking into the dimly lit hotel room, and freshly made sheets the room looked exquisite and smelled like a new car looking at the settings, I couldn’t help but let my thoughts wonder to how this could be a small financial help meeting.
Turning to me Belle said with a smile “Hey, William! Thanks for coming. You don’t know how much this means to me,” she said, gesturing to the scattered papers on the table, stepping towards the documents, looking a bit puzzled but willing to assist but was stopped in my tracks.
The ring at the door broke our focus , she went forward and let the service guy in with the tray of food and a bottle of champagne, grabbing the bottle she uncorked it and poured two glasses of wine. “You know, it’s been such a long day. I thought we could unwind a bit,” she suggested, handing me a glass of champagne.
So, these are the financials for the past quarter," she said, her voice a little too bright, a little too strained. I nodded, taking a sip of the wine she'd poured me. It was a decent vintage, smooth and full-bodied, but the taste couldn't mask the growing unease in my gut.
A few moments later, she started complaining of feeling dizzy and staggered to find support, “William, I… I don’t feel so good,” she stammered, andppttpyppt yy tp yyp pytpstarted to fall back on the floor.
I quickly rushed to her before she would hit the floor, panic etched across my face. “Belle! What’s happening?” I quickly dialed the hotel to call for help, and soon paramedics arrived, whisking her away to the hospital. As the ambulance drove away I stood just wondering what must have gone wrong, it’s as if she had just gone to sleep and I wondered what had happened.
