Zephyr Von Valor walked through the halls of the dormitory buildings as a voice rang out through the building.
"Good morning, dear students. Today is 5th Ventus, in the month of Frostveil. Today is the beginning of your new school term. The members of the staff hope everyone has everything they need for their studies. We also hope that you received your relevant timetables yesterday, by mail.
The headmistress is also reminding both students and staff members that forming blood-contracts with each other is not against academy rules & regulations. Accordingly, rule number six of the 'Veridion Academy Rules & regulations' states as follows;
'Forming blood-contracts among students & students, staff members & staff members, and students & staff members is not prohibited. But breaking the terms in the official contract is a punishable offence and could lead up to one month of suspension.'
So I yet again remind all academy members that forming blood-contracts with each other is not punishable, unlike breaking a term."
Zephyr stepped out of the dormitory building, his bag in hand. He reached into a pocket of his coat and pulled out a small note. It read:
"Zephyr Von Valour,
You have been placed in class 1-S for your remarkable and record-breaking marks in the entrance exam. Please arrange your books according to the timetable given below."
And under the paragraph, a table marked with each & every subject of the week was written. For his first period, Zephyr and his classmates had received 'Magic Casting'.
He looked around himself to see if there was anyone around him to see no one.
"Sylvia," Zephyr muttered. His shadow grew in size before it began rising. His shadow took the shape of a beautiful woman with white hair and blue eyes. She had a perfect figure along with pointed ears.
"I have a request for you," Zephyr said, fixing his gaze towards the woman. "I need you to go and spy on each and every first year. And report to me once you've found... the heroes," Sylvia nodded.
She placed her beautiful hand on Zephyr's face. Her slender fingers smelled like flowers, and her hand was as soft as silk.
"Anything for you," she said, her voice as sweet as honey.
Suddenly, she vanished. 'That is definitely the queen of elves," Zephyr told himself as a smile tugged on his lips.
He turned around and faced one of the distant buildings. He began walking towards the building as Sylvia hurried to fulfill her task.
