I was back to my spot, away from my mate and his pack. I am never going near that pack, ever.

"Are you sure? I might be scared, but I still want to meet my mate, or at least know what kind of person he is," Haku said.

"We can ask someone to spy on that pack in a way they don't get caught. Don't want them dead, now, do we?" I told her. I also want to meet my mate, but remembering all the things that happened to me, I really don't want a pack member me again.

"I like the idea. Whom will you tell? Should we tell Luca? Maybe he can help us, and he always tells us that 'You are my sister and I would do anything for you', so let's make our 'brother' useful and make him spy on our mate." I chuckled at Haku's recommendation. It's not a bad idea, considering Luca has often said that.

"Okay, I will talk to Luca as soon as the sun shines and he wakes up from the dead." Haku didn't bother with a response, but I knew she agreed.

As soon as I entered our temporary territory, I heard a very angry alpha voice, which almost made me smile, "Where the hell were you?!"

"I went for a walk, Luca. I was not sleepy," I said calmly.

He rubbed his hand through his hair and looked me like I said I just sntached his kidney "Are you fucking crazy?! It's the middle of the night, and you know what type of pack we are near! How can you be so reckless and stupid, Stella?! What if you-"

"Will you relax? I am fine, and so is Haku. Neither of us is hurt or anything. Relax, big bro."

"Relax?! You are asking me to relax after you are you?!" He stepped closer to me and hovered over me easily because he's an alpha and I am an omega, "I don't care that you are some scary rogue despite being an omega, what I care for is that my little sis could be in potential danger and I refuse to have it! Next time you go anywhere, tell me for fuck sake! It's late!"

I smiled. After my adopted alpha parents died, he's the only one who cares for me this deeply. I wish I had met him before those days, maybe my life would have been better.

"Since you are awake, I need to tell you something."

He's expression changed from worried to serious as he waited for me to say what I wanted to.

"I found my mate" was what I had to say for him to get panicked within seconds because he knew what pack we were around, and the possibility of my mate being in that pack is high.

"Where did you find him?" his voice was cautious.

"As I was walking around, I got his scent from inside the pack borders." I waited for his reaction. His eyes were wide in a little bit of surprise but mostly panic.

"We have to get out of here!" he whispered.

"We cannot, Luca! We have a pattern and if we break that then every rogue will know something is wrong" I lowered my voice as I was about to say the next thing "And worst of all, if anyone knows I have a mate from the pack that hates rogues to their core, it's gonna be a chaos and we cannot let that happen. Many rogues still have a problem with me being an omega, and you know it, Luca." He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He's worried and anxious because he knows that I am right and that this has to be a secret; no one can know about this.
