first night/ detected choosen one

The morning sun crept through the curtains, casting soft golden rays across the luxurious bedroom. Tyler blinked lazily, adjusting to the brightness, and then glanced to his side.

Sophie lay there, her bare shoulders peeking from the silky sheets, her hair a beautiful mess around her flushed face. She was breathing softly, lips slightly parted, with a faint smile that hadn't left her since last night.

For a few seconds, Tyler just stared, his usual smirk softened. He gently brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, watching as she wrinkled her nose and stirred awake.

"Morning," Sophie whispered, still half-asleep.

"Morning," Tyler replied.

She blinked up at him. "Was last night... your first time too?"

Tyler chuckled. "What do you think?"

"I think you're too smooth for it to be your first time."

"It was," he said, with a smirk. "I was just naturally talented."

She rolled her eyes but leaned in, burying her face in his chest with a smile. "Guess I'm lucky then."

After a moment, Tyler sat up and began dressing. Sophie watched him from the bed, a soft, affectionate expression on her face.

"I'll be back soon," Tyler said, adjusting his shirt collar. "If you need anything, just call me."

"Where are you going?"

"Some business stuff. Nothing dangerous," he winked. "Also... here."

He reached into his coat and pulled out a sleek black card, tossing it onto the bed.

"There's two million in that. Treat yourself. New start of our relationship gift."

Sophie's jaw dropped. "T-Two million?! Tyler, you can't just throw money around like that!"

"I can, and I just did," he said, smirking.

"At least try to save a little, you maniac. What if we go broke?"

Tyler chuckled. "If we ever go broke, it'll be because I bought a planet."

"Idiot," she mumbled, but she was smiling.

He leaned in and kissed her forehead before heading out. As he walked downstairs, he found Mikey lounging on the couch, a mug of coffee in one hand and a smug look on his face.

"Well, well, if it isn't Loverboy," Mikey grinned. "Had a fun night, boss?"

Tyler shot him a sideways glance. "Jealousy doesn't suit you, Mikey."

"Nah, just impressed. Never thought I'd see the day."

"Neither did I."

Tyler sat down across from him. "So, how's everything?"

Mikey sipped his coffee, then pulled out his tablet. "Businesses are solid. You're on track to hit a net worth of over 310 million this month. The new logistics streamlining is helping."

"Good. Keep an eye on it."

"Always do."

Tyler gave a satisfied nod. "You know, sometimes I forget you're more than just a guy who punches people for me."

"I'm touched," Mikey deadpanned. "Right in the heart."

Suddenly, a blue screen popped up in front of Tyler's eyes.

[CHOSEN ONE DETECTED]

[New Quest: RUIN THE CHOSEN ONE'S DESTINY]

[Reward: +10,000 Reputation Points + Ability Copy Option]

Tyler smirked. "Well well... time to hunt."

Mikey raised an eyebrow. "What's that look for?"

"Oh, nothing. Just remembered I hate destiny."

Back upstairs, Sophie, still curled in bed, unknowingly clutched the necklace Tyler had given her. As she drifted back to sleep, Tyler, down below, cracked his knuckles and began planning his next move.

This time, the world wouldn't even see it coming.

And if destiny dared get in his way?

He'd ruin it with a smile.
