The trial took place and Addison testified against him as well as neighbors and people from her group

The man that was driving the SUV was also arrested since Luther had memorized the license plate beforehand.

He was seen guilty and sentenced to 24 years in prison plus one year of parole before he is freed.

To ensure maximum safety, she also filed a restraining order for life.

3 months after the incident, Addison was finally free from the marriage she was forced to stay in.

She broke all of his pictures around the house and burnt it in the fireplace as well as cutting apart their matrimonial bed in order to feel completely free.

She has security around her house at all times with Luther and Scarlet checking up on her regularly until Luther and Addison started dating.

Luther would finally give Addison back her book and would share poems she has written about different parts of her life.

Reginald however was nowhere to be found for a while. Luther had wondered as well but just took it as an opportunity to stay away from his toxicity.

Scarlet had gotten the tests back from her doctor and it was revealed that she was cancer free.

Luther had also found out about Addison's cancer and shipped her abroad to the same place Scarlet did hers and she came back cancer free as well.

All things turned for the better

"He was arrested sir." The guard said

"Did he kill her" Reginald said

"No sir, he failed. Luther saved her in the Nick of time" the guard said

"There is only one person that I know would do some real damage to destroy their relationship once and for all" Reginald said

"I need to make some calls"
