Flying Phoenix!

"General Qin, where did you find such a person?" General Guang asked, looking at Zhu Feiying flying into the distance.

Qin Yan didn't respond and just stared at the bright fiery light that was flying in the distance.

Zhu Feiying didn't hear the conversation between the two of them, and was pumped full of excitement as she dashed towards the ships. This was her first ever front action fight she's experienced, and she was sure as hell going to enjoy it!

It didn't take long before she reached one of the ships, and all the people on board looked at Zhu Feiying in shock and fear.

"Hey… That isn't a person is it?" One of the crew members said.

The person next to him didn't respond and just gulped, and the sword he held in his hand dropped.

"Enemy attack!"

A sudden voice sounded to all the people on the ship, causing them to snap back into action. Although they didn't know what to do, they all took a defensive stance.

"Humph, useless!" Zhu Feiying said in disdain, and swooped down to the side of the ship and realigned her body to face sideways.

"Phoenix Line!" She shouted, and bolted straight into the side of the ship and exited on the other side.

Her rampage didn't stop here. It was like a giant shot a bow with an arrow with fire on it, and Zhu Feiying kept piercing each and every boat in one straight line. The Southern Empire forces couldn't do anything, and the majority didn't even react until their ships started to sink into the sea. It was a complete and utter one side assault.

General Wang who was watching all this in the headquarters couldn't help but clench his fist tightly. Seeing the fiery figure destroy all the ships attacking them made his heart ache, as he believed all this credit would go to Qin Yan, the Third Prince! As the supporter of the Crown Prince, this was something he didn't want to see!

'How come there is such a powerful woman next to Qin Yan? Are all the spies useless! This must be reported to the Crown Prince.'

General Guang on the other hand was very happy seeing the destruction. Even the soldiers on the field trying to get into position couldn't help to look at Zhu Feiying.

"General Qin, you truly have capable subordinates." He chuckled.

"General Guang praises too highly, Zhu Feiying isn't one of my subordinates. She is more like a friend to me, and I don't control any of her actions." Qin Yan replied.

He really had no clue that Zhu Feiying would be this strong, and by the sounds of things, she shouldn't even be the strongest in her world, or even maybe weak compared to others.

"Hmm, this strength is comparable to mine. Well, I say strength, but should I say destructive power." General Guang said.

"What do you mean?" General Dong said with a raised brow.

"Although it looks like she is extremely strong, but if you look closely, only the wood can be damaged. The metal parts of the ship only seem to be a little dented. Her strength should be similar to a first class warrior, but her destructive powers are comparable to mine."

"So it's all for show." General Wang snorted, feeling a little better.

General Guang and Dong both looked at each other and shook their heads. They knew that even if she was weak physically, she had the advantage everywhere else.

"Enough talking, how are we going to deal with the people in the water? Also, she can't stop all three hundred ships." General Huo said. He was the other supporter of the Crown Prince, but he was a lot more rational than Wang Shao.

Qin Yan shot General Huo a look.

"Don't look at me, it was her words saying she couldn't take down all the ships. Of course if you truly believe that she can do it; then ignore my previous words."

Qin Yan fell silent and nodded his head and turned to General Guang.

"The most logical thing now is to set up our archers. We can't be overrun. Another problem is the boats approaching. We had no time to set up sea traps or long ranged catapults. The best we can do is send some of our Warriors to attack from the sides and hop on their ships by treading the water."

"But what about some of their warriors coming to our front lines?" Qin Yan asked.

"We will stay back with a few of our men and defend it. They're currently occupied by that girl you've invited, so it's better to strike best and heavy."

Qin Yan nodded at General Guangs words and looked at Tang Chen and said, "Go out and notify the commanders of each unit of our plans."

Tang Chen nodded and hurried out of the room.

"We'll wait here until some of their Warriors start to head to land." Qin Yan said, but there is another reason why he wanted them to stay here but couldn't say why.

General Guang had no comment, making the other three agree.

'Damn, if only this guy wasn't a general under the current Emperor.' General Wang thought to himself.

While their conversation was happening, Zhu Feiying was constantly outputting her magic and destroying the front line of the Southern Sea forces.

It only took her a few minutes to destroy the first thirty ships up front.

'Time to destroy the next group.' She thought and started to make her way over, but was stopped mid way by an arrow heading straight at her.

"Phoenix Shield!" She yelled in surprise, and a flaming red barrier appeared around her with a pattern of a phoenix.

The arrow hit her shield, causing sparks to scatter everywhere, and even left a crack in the shield.

'Huh, so strong?'

She raised her hand and said "Burn," causing the arrow to ignite in flames and disintegrate it.
