Tenten's Sealing Techniques

"Ino, is Neji Hyuga usually hard to get along with? Seeing how he acts so arrogantly towards Hinata, I feel like he's really proud," Ino quickly found a topic they could both discuss.

Tenten was busy cleaning her ninja tools. She was like the ninja version of Doraemon, pulling out hundreds of kunai and shuriken in the blink of an eye, meticulously wiping each one.

Ino, on the other hand, even if she counted everything in her backpack and waist pouch, didn't carry more than twenty kunai and shuriken combined.

As her ninja techniques grew stronger, these tools had become almost useless to her.

Tenten put down the tool in her hand and thought seriously for a moment before giving Ino a somewhat strange look.

She spoke bluntly, "Actually, I think you and Neji are quite similar. Both of you come from prestigious families, have strong talents, are smart, and train extremely hard. Plus, you both carry a lot of personal hopes, family responsibilities, and the future of the ninja village on your shoulders."

As she complained, she shook her head. Ino waved her hands repeatedly, insisting that she was easygoing and didn't have the airs of a genius.

Tenten pouted, "Maybe it's because of his background. Neji is from the branch family, while your Yamanaka Clan doesn't seem to have such issues."

Ino casually made up an excuse, "Our family just sells flowers. We can't compare to the prestigious Hyuga Clan of Konoha."

Tenten wasn't entirely sure what the Yamanaka Clan did, so she cautiously asked a few questions. Ino steered the conversation toward flower shops, chain stores, and monopolizing the flower market.

Tenten certainly wouldn't betray her teammate for someone she had just met. When talking about Neji's abilities, she mostly spoke in general terms—things like his proficiency in body techniques, his calm mind, and his meticulousness—all information that could easily be found elsewhere.

Ino already knew enough about Neji Hyuga and wasn't planning to gather any important intel from Tenten. Once they became more familiar, the conversation shifted to the incredibly passionate duo, Might Guy and his disciple.

As soon as they started talking about these two lively characters, the atmosphere instantly became more cheerful.

Tenten especially loved to share amusing stories about the passionate master and disciple, and she could go on and on about them.

It was then that Ino realized Tenten was a very genuine girl.

She found the master and disciple's farewell gestures at the village entrance quite ridiculous, but in her words, she still showed support for them.

"Guy-sensei always says he's Kakashi-sensei's eternal rival. He's put in so much effort just to catch up to Kakashi-sensei, who's known as a genius."

Ino nodded seriously. Just because Guy nearly kicked Madara Uchiha to death didn't mean his daily efforts should be overlooked. It was precisely those efforts that led to his final glory.

Ino herself worked very hard, but she still couldn't compare to Might Guy.

Tenten then brought up Rock Lee, "Lee is also an extremely hardworking person. In fact, I think he's a genius too—a genius in effort!"

Suddenly, she became dejected, "Sigh! Being around such passionate people, I really feel like I'm so useless."

"That's not true," Ino looked at her, "Tenten, you're too modest. You only see others' strengths and overlook your own. Your sealing techniques, in my opinion, are incredibly powerful. Among our peers, no one's sealing techniques surpass yours."

She took out a sealing scroll and unsealed it on the spot, revealing some pots and pans that Choji often used. "See, I've also learned sealing techniques, but I can only seal things to this extent. And you—" She pointed to the large pile of ninja tools beside Tenten. "I really can't see your limits. In this aspect, you're more talented than all of us combined."

Mentioning this, Tenten also felt troubled and began to pour out her frustrations.

"Ino, you want to become a kunoichi like Lady Tsunade, right? Sigh, I want that too, but unfortunately, I really don't have any talent in ninja techniques." She started rambling about her own worries.

Might Guy indeed didn't have much to teach Tenten, but he was a respectable teacher, and it was no problem to call him "Teacher Guy."

Hearing that Tenten wanted to become a kunoichi like Tsunade, he used his connections and earnestly begged a Jonin to teach Tenten medical ninja techniques.

He kept pestering, saying, "If you don't agree today, I'll come back tomorrow. If you don't agree tomorrow, I'll come back the day after to beg you."

The medical Jonin, unable to withstand the pressure, could only give a few pointers.

Ino had ruined countless fish and pigs without even getting started, and Tenten's chakra control was far worse than hers. Relying only on a few pointers and Might Guy's passionate training methods like "If you don't learn it today, you won't eat" or "If you can't master medical ninja techniques today, do 3,000 push-ups," she practiced hard for a month but still couldn't even touch the basics of medical ninja techniques.

Hearing that Tsunade was skilled in summoning techniques, she immediately switched to learning summoning techniques, but still couldn't master them.

Then she tried learning superhuman strength, almost breaking her hands in the process. Finally, she tried learning Tsunade's drinking and gambling habits, only to be thrown out by the boss. The outcome was simply disastrous.

With no other options, she could only focus on sealing techniques. What she practiced wasn't even the conventional sealing techniques; sealing inanimate objects was just a small branch of sealing techniques, but she managed to carve out a unique path in this small branch.

Ino shared some tips on chakra control, and Tenten also taught her two sealing techniques, at least some tricks for sealing ninja tools.

Soon, it was time for the shift change.

Kurenai and Hinata came out to replace them.

When Ino, Naruto, and Sasuke graduated, Kurenai had just been promoted to Jonin, and her boyfriend was Asuma, who had the Village Chief as his father. She was absolutely a winner in life, and this kunoichi was at her most active in her career at that time.

Unfortunately, her proud genjutsu was rendered worthless by Uchiha Itachi, and then she faced a series of events: Asuma's death, going home to raise her child, giving birth, and taking care of her daughter. To take care of her daughter, she didn't even participate in the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Shikamaru went to visit her and said, "I will protect you and your daughter."

A Chunin protecting a Jonin?

That really didn't make sense. The Fourth War was a crucial battle that determined the survival of the shinobi world. An elite Jonin like Yuhi Kurenai not going to the battlefield but staying at home to take care of her child? It could only be said that Yuhi Kurenai's mentality had taken a severe hit. After continuous blows, she couldn't even exert 20% of her full strength and was completely unable to go to the battlefield.

The current Yuhi Kurenai was at her most spirited. The more depressed she would be in the future, the more active she was now.

"Teacher Kurenai, there's no sign of any unusual activity around Hanare, and I haven't detected any Ninja presence within a seven-kilometer radius," Ino reported during the handover. "I'll leave the rest to you and Hinata."

Kurenai nodded. "Alright, go and rest now."

Tenten and Ino each retreated to their tents to rest.

Ino left behind a Shadow Clone to deceive any onlookers, while her true body quietly slipped out of the tent and headed to a distant pond to practice the Water Transformation Secret Technique.
