Chapter 51 My sister is not cute at all!

Watching the Ryōzanpaku warriors disappear from his sight, the violent aura on Hikigaya's face instantly vanished.

"I hope I managed to scare them off…" he muttered.

The trace of murderous intent in his heart had been real, but it wasn't directed at the Ryōzanpaku people. Though being a God Slayer represented the ability to act without restraint, Hikigaya still had his own bottom line. He didn't particularly dislike the people from Ryōzanpaku, even though they had done something he truly hated this time.

He just had to blow off some steam; otherwise, people would think he was easy to bully. The good get taken advantage of, and good people often get pushed further. But bringing Komachi into it was absolutely unacceptable! That was a matter of principle, no negotiations. Even if he had to play the bad guy, this line couldn't be crossed.

Speaking of threatening to burn down all of Tokyo, that was a bit embarrassing—he almost cracked a smile—but it should work as a deterrent. After all, being a God Slayer didn't exactly grant him a good reputation; it was almost synonymous with being a lunatic.

The real person he wanted to kill was someone else entirely.

Hikigaya never minded speculating about the dark side of those in power with the utmost malice. Anyone who watched anime knew that in the world of Japanese authority figures, they were either delusional or perverted, and most of them were no good.

The sudden appearance of Ryōzanpaku was bizarre, and before he uncovered the truth, Hikigaya decided to let that person live a little longer. Once he found out what was going on, taking them out would definitely help tilt the balance of positive energy in human society.

After a moment of reflection, Hikigaya stopped thinking about it and decided that he was done for the day—there was no need to dwell on it any further.

He then turned to Liliyana. "Let's go to my place for tea."

The Yomi group didn't need his invitation. He wouldn't invite them over for tea either.

It wasn't because they weren't close—in fact, Hikigaya felt strangely at ease around people from Yomi—but precisely because of that, they were absolutely forbidden from entering his home.

"I want to take care of other matters first. Please allow me to finish this first," Liliyana said seriously.

The girl had been incredibly serious since earlier.

"I see…" Hikigaya nodded. "Then you go ahead."

Then he turned to Kushinada Mikumo, and without a trace of embarrassment, said, "You can go ahead too. I won't keep you for dinner."

However, he was too sweet…

A smile appeared on Kushinada Mikumo's alluring face:

"Food given by the king, how could this humble one not graciously accept it?"

"It's fine, you can refuse if you want. I really won't mind," Hikigaya replied.

"It seems that Lord Hachiman still doesn't understand. The more powerful a martial artist is, the more they are drawn to great power. For someone born of Darkness like me, to the masters of the Empty-Hand Group, it's like a drug. Once they see your power, their desire to follow you will only grow stronger."

"…" Hikigaya didn't speak. He was speechless.

It was just a meal. Did it really have to be this dramatic? This could be material for a novel!

Hikigaya sighed deeply. He really didn't have the energy to complain anymore.

"Alright, but don't talk about Yomi to my sister. Just pretend you're an ordinary martial artist," he said.

"This is something Lord Hachiman can rest assured about. In fact, I was once a member of the Living Fist. Pretending to be my former self is not difficult," Kushinada Mikumo replied.

"…" Hikigaya truly didn't know what to say this time.

He couldn't have a proper conversation with someone who had jumped sides like this.

He waved his hand in frustration and started walking home.

Behind him, Kushinada Mikumo silently followed, seemingly serious about following him as she had said.

Upon arriving home and opening the door, the first thing that greeted him was a white fluffy ball charging toward him.

"Hey! What demon is this?!"

Hikigaya almost yelled this out, ready to slap the intruder into the next universe.

He held back, recognizing the creature as Tamamo-no-Mae.

"Damn, I almost didn't recognize you!"

Once a top-tier Japanese demon in history, now reduced to this.

Every bit of her fur screamed that she had suffered cruel and inhumane treatment. The worst part was her hairstyle—was that a lion dog's hairstyle?!

As for who was responsible, Hikigaya didn't think that was even a question.

"Oh, is Big Brother back?" Komachi popped her head out from the kitchen. "Wait a minute, I haven't decided what to make yet."

Then she saw Kushinada Mikumo behind Hikigaya and immediately ran out.

"Ah, big sister, hello! Are you Big Brother's superior?"

"No, I… I'm a martial artist working with your brother," Kushinada Mikumo smiled slightly. The fierce, demonic aura that had been with her since entering the house had completely vanished, and now she exuded the aura of a kind, reliable older sister next door.

"Huh? Big sister isn't the Sugar mama of big brother, is she?" Komachi asked.

"Sugar mama? What nonsense is that?" Hikigaya, who had been sitting on the couch, jumped up in anger.

His sister had gone bad!!! Who had taught her this?! Damn, they were bold—just wait, Hikigaya would soon teach them a lesson!

"What's all this nonsense you've been learning?" he demanded.

"Pfft, it's obvious. Big Brother is a poor guy, how could he afford such fancy things?" Komachi made a face at Hikigaya. "It's obviously Ena-nee who's better, and Ena-nee is also really rich. Big Brother, don't you think about her?"

'No way! Tonight, I have to be the evil older brother!' Hikigaya thought.

"If I don't find out who corrupted you, I swear I'll make sure your little butt gets whooped!"

"Wow! Big sister, Big Brother is going to be mean to me!" Komachi quickly hid behind Kushinada Mikumo, looking pitiful. "With a brother so mean and not even good-looking, I think you should give up."

"So what is this 'Sugar mama' nonsense?!" Hikigaya was shaking with anger as he pointed at the sobbing Tamamo-no-Mae behind him.

"And what's the deal with the fox? Why did it turn into a fashion disaster all of a sudden?"

"Pfft, you don't know anything. It's a popular dog hairstyle now!" Komachi said.

"A hairstyle, my ass! It's not even a dog!" Hikigaya shot back.

The siblings bantered back and forth, Komachi gleefully throwing insults, while Hikigaya just felt nauseated. He wasn't even hungry anymore.

"You two have such a good relationship," Kushinada Mikumo commented. "That's rare."

After a pause, she suddenly asked Komachi, "Little sister, do you mind if I call you Komachi?"

"It's fine if you call me Komachi, Big Sister," Komachi said, still working her magic in trying to cause trouble. "Your voice is so nice. It's such a waste to be with Big Brother."

"You're really cute. But your brother is tired, let him rest. How about we cook together?" Kushinada Mikumo suggested.

"Okay! Komachi loves cooking with others! Ena-nee often cooks with me," Komachi's eyes twinkled. "By the way, Ena-nee is actually Big Brother's girlfriend, and her family is really rich."

"…" Hikigaya covered his face.

Why… why was his sister so shamelessly ridiculous?

His sister was definitely not cute at all!
