Chapter 26: "Teach her a good lesson."

Not far away, Yu Aotian shook his head helplessly while listening to Yaoyao bragging as he made a call. "Does she really need to throw in the 'living off a woman' part? Someone needs to teach her a lesson."

"Hey, look! He's calling for backup now," one of the thugs mocked. "He can summon 200 guys just like that. If you don't want to die, better run while you can!"

"Babe, weren't you saying there were only six of them? Since when did it become two hundred?" Yu Aotian's voice sounded behind her.

Yaoyao froze. "Huh?"

The next second, Yu Aotian calmly spoke into the phone, "Bring me 200 men. Be here in three minutes."

Yaoyao stood there, stunned.

The thug sneered, "Kid, you're bluffing. Two hundred men? Aside from my boss, Yu Aotian, there are less than ten people in all of Asia who could pull that off. I'll give you ten minutes. If they don't show, you'll crawl under my legs!"

Yu Aotian slipped his hands into his pockets and smiled casually.

Yaoyao tugged his sleeve, worried. "Are you insane? Calling 200 people?"

"Weren't you the one who said so?" he replied, amused.

She was growing desperate. Did he really take her bluff to those thugs seriously? "It's been two minutes. If things go south, you should run when you get the chance," she whispered.

"And what about you?" he asked.

"Doesn't matter. I dragged you into this. I should take responsibility."

Yu Aotian chuckled, realizing this little troublemaker was braver than she looked. She was scared, but still thinking about others. Interesting.

As the third minute approached, the roar of engines echoed from the distance. His eyes turned cold.

"What is that sound?" one thug asked, glancing around nervously.

Headlights flashed as over 40 cars sped toward them, stopping neatly by the roadside. One after another, men in sharp black suits stepped out.

The thugs froze, stunned. Even Yaoyao was speechless. The sight of these men, each with the character 'Yu' embroidered on their chest, left no room for doubt—they were Yu Long Society.

The men surrounded them, bowing in unison. "Boss Yu!"

At that moment, Yaoyao finally realized the man beside her hadn't been joking. He really was Yu Aotian, and everything before had just been him toying with her.

The thugs fell to their knees, begging for forgiveness. "Boss Yu, we're sorry! We didn't recognize you. Please spare us!"

Yu Aotian ignored them, calmly instructing, "They dared to impersonate my Yu Long Society. Handle it as you see fit."

"Yes, Boss!" his men replied.

The thugs were horrified. Turns out Yu Aotian had seen through them all along but hadn't even bothered to expose them. The rumors were true—he never wasted words on people he didn't consider worth his time.

As the black-suited men closed in, Yu Aotian simply took Yaoyao's trembling hand and led her to the sports car waiting at the corner.

"Boss Yu, safe travels!" The thugs' voices rang out behind them long after the car had driven away.

Speeding down the road, Yu Aotian glanced at the pale-faced Yaoyao. "Not going to ask where I'm taking you?"

She didn't reply, staring blankly at the endless road.

The car finally stopped at the most scenic mountaintop. He led her out like a puppet and admired the night view. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

Her voice trembled. "B-Boss Yu..."

Yu Aotian smirked. "Relax, those guys were just actors. And you—weren't you pretending to be my sister? You don't even recognize your own brother?"

Yaoyao froze. Right, she had claimed to be his sister! If those impostors were punished for faking it, what would happen to her?

Falling to her knees, she begged, "Boss Yu, I was wrong! Two years ago I offended you, and today I lied again. Please, let me go!"

The past came flooding back—memories of the man she had once mistaken for a gigolo, the nightmares, and her own foolishness for forgetting such a dangerous face.

Yu Aotian crouched in front of her, eyes gleaming with amusement. "So, you finally remember me, huh?"

She stared at him in shock. "You recognized me all along... why didn't you say anything?"
