Chapter 24- Organisation of Army
10th March | Morning | Vantara Village
The morning sun had just begun to rise over the treetops, casting long golden rays over the forest canopy. A cool breeze passed through the leaves as the sounds of village life slowly began to stir. Birds chirped from hidden branches, and thin tendrils of smoke curled from chimneys as the villagers began preparing breakfast.
Inside the Village Chief's villa,… Vector's eyes opened to the soft light of dawn passing through the window. Outside, he heard the crackle of kindling and soft murmurs as people began to rise.
He sat up slowly, stretching slightly.
He spent a full 10 days inside the Simulation, while only 8 hours passed in reality. Yet, his body felt that it was full of energy. The Chaos Energy coursing through him kept his mind sharp, and in peak condition.
He called the system status panel to check his progress, as a blue interface hovered in front of him.

Vector smiled with quiet satisfaction. He could learn a technique overnight, what a cheat….
"Most practitioners would take one to two years just for basic mastery," he muttered cheerfully. "Even geniuses with exceptional comprehension would need four to six months…"
"But I can achieve the same feat overnight," he said with a smirk. "All thanks to the system… and my enhanced comprehension due to my soul and intelligence."
He glanced at his martial arts tab again. In this world, mastery in martial arts was how true strength was displayed. Raw power meant little if it couldn't be wielded effectively. Martial Arts showed the true power of the Body Refining Experts.
"And I had now learned one to supplement my close quarter combat and that too is Legendary grade Art." he murmured, eyes gleaming with anticipation. "If I want to fully wield this strength, I'll need techniques to match it."
He was eager to learn, not just to grow stronger, but to master every facet of battle.
"Although these martial arts were purely physical in nature, with no infusion of Origin Energy, they were still powerful, especially when executed by a Body Refining Expert."
"But I also need to learn movement art— combat isn't just about strength. It's also about movement." he whispered. His next target to learn was Movement Art. Close combat wasn't just about striking, it was about positioning, reaction, and control. If he could add movement art to his combat foundation, he would become far more dangerous.
Vector stood stretching, then looked toward the rising sun from the window. Today, he was going to be busy achieving his objective of building a powerful force in this world.
"Time to survey the village… and choose a site to build the Library."
That Library was a gift from the Will of the Void. A nexus of technology, knowledge, and training, meant to be the heart of his future empire.
"Knock…knock.."
Suddenly, a knock could be heard on the door, and a voice echoed in his ears.
"Young Master, are you awake?" Leo's voice came from outside. "I've brought morning tea."
Vector moved to open the door and saw Leo standing at the door with a wooden tray in his hand.
"Good morning, Young Master," Leo said, offering him a short, respectful bow.
Vector also politely said, "Good Morning! Leo, did anything happen last night?"
Leo said, "No, Young Master nothing happened. All things were normal."
"Good." Vector gestured toward the table. "Leave the Tea there."
Leo placed the tray down. "Breakfast will be ready in about an hour. Any preferences?"
Vector smiled. "No preferences. I'd like to try your usual village breakfast, something fresh and local."
As if remembering something, Vector ordered, "And also inform Sebastian and Tristan also to present at the Breakfast along with Marcus and Rhea."
"Young Master, I will inform them. Then I will leave if you don't have further orders."
Leo gave a short bow and left, after getting confirmation from Vector.

A while later, the villa's dining room came alive with movement. Emily, Arthur's wife, directed the servants while Leo helped set the table. Plates of warm food began to arrive, roasted root vegetables, herbed flatbread, boiled eggs, a light vegetable soup and chicken soup.
Soon, Rhea arrived, followed by Marcus. Arthur came next, and then Sebastian and Tristan entered together. After everyone gathered, Leo went to call Vector.
When Vector entered, everyone stood to greet him.
He nodded back in return. "Good morning, everyone. Let's eat."
Servants began distributing food. Vector and the others sat at the round table, and began their breakfast. Vector was happily devouring the food. As it was fresh and different from usual meals, he ate.

After breakfast Vector and others went to the living room and had a meeting. They took their seats on cushioned sofas. Vector started the meeting as he asid, "Sebastian, any update from interrogation."
Sebastian said, "No, Young Master. He is not opening his mouth even if I had used many torture methods on him.'
Vector expected this, "Leave it, I will interrogate him this afternoon."
He then looked at Arthur. "Please have the village survey report ready by evening."
Arthur said, "I will give the survey report to you in the evening."
Vector leaned forward slightly on the sofa. "From today, we begin preparations for defense. I want scouting teams dispatched immediately. Prioritize locating caves and mineral-rich regions."
He paused for emphasis. "If you find traces of saltpeter, mark the location."
"Saltpeter?" Rhea asked with a confused expression.
Vector nodded. "It's one of the core ingredients used in making gunpowder. You'll recognize it as a white crystalline residue found in caves or near decomposing organic matter. If we're going to make firearms, we'll need it."
"Understood," Arthur replied. "I'll dispatch a team toward the lower ridges and stream areas first."
"Good." Vector looked over the three Marcus, Tristan and Rhea. He said with a more authoritative tone, "Now, it's time to establish a formal military structure."
He turned to Marcus. "You'll lead our Infantry Division, create balanced squads. Swordsmen, archers, spearmen, shield-bearers. Discipline and cohesion are your priority."
Marcus stood and placed a fist to his chest. "Leave it to me, Young Master."
"Tristan," Vector continued, "you'll lead the Scouts and Assassins team."
Tristan gave a short, confident smirk. "Sounds like my kind of job. Thank you Young Master for trusting me."
Finally, Vector turned to Rhea. "You'll lead the Special Forces team, pick suitable fighters capable of combat in all terrains. Forest, hills, rivers, night raids, whatever the battlefield demands."
Rhea gave a nod, her eyes sharp. "Young Master, I will make formidable warriors, hehe."
Vector, ignoring Rhea's grinning, said "Recruit the soldiers from the Guards came with us yesterday, village guards and our incoming Astrum family forces. Prioritize those with prior combat experience."
The three commanders exchanged determined glances. The structure of Vector's future army had been laid down.
Vector then turned to Leo, who was also present, "And you? What are your strengths?"
Leo responded, "I'm trained in infiltration, intelligence gathering, and assassination strategy."
"Perfect." Vector nodded. "You'll work under Tristan and be the deputy of the scouts and assassins team. Learn the team structure and help him manage it."
Leo felt shocked on hearing the Vector's order, although he quickly concealed his expression. 'In one day only, the young master believed him so much that he placed me in such a strategic team.'
Vector noticed, of course. He knew what he was thinking. But Vector was not acting blindly. Arthur's decisive action to swear an oath gives him a favourable impression of the Venyar.
"I won't let you down, Young Master," Leo said firmly.
"I know you won't," Vector said with a slight smile.
He stood. "Meeting adjourned. I'm going out to scout the terrain. Arthur, Sebastian, you're with me. The rest of you, begin recruitment and drills."
The three commanders stood and saluted. "Yes, Young Master!"
As the meeting dispersed, Vector turned to Arthur and Sebastian. "Let's go."
The three exited the villa, boots crunching lightly on the dirt path as the morning sun stretched higher above the treetops. Light danced off the leaves, and the faint sound of water flowing in the distance reminded Vector of the forest's beauty.
