Chapter 27- The Void Library— Floor Functions
After Vector's confirmation the system interface appeared before him, and explained to him about the functions of the floor he was currently standing.

[2nd Floor is also known as the Library Floor. The host can grant the System permission to transfer stored knowledge into the Library, where it will appear on the shelves.]
[Books, on the shelves, can only be accessed by individuals who have the host's permission.]

Vector was shocked after hearing the functions. 2000% increased comprehension means 20 Times faster learning speed. If someone can learn something normally in 100 days then the same can be learned in 5 days according to the functions.
It also had the Memory Retention function, which means never forget about the things once you learned. He was shocked after reaching this conjecture.
"These functions are simply heaven defying… Will I not be able to train an army of scholars in no time."
He felt thrilled by the possibilities. This floor would become the cornerstone for training his subordinates in all branches of knowledge. Though it was unfortunate that only 100 individuals could use it at once, it was still an incredible resource.
But what surprised him was that the Floor also had the Time Acceleration Function, same as the system but the system had a 30:1 ratio while the 2nd Floor of the Library had 10:1. Still, it means that he can train more scholars quickly using the enhanced comprehension and with the Time Acceleration.
He was really shocked by this function of the 2nd Floor. "Then what will be the functions of the 1st, 3rd and 4th Floor?"
He was eager to know about it.
But his gaze lingered on the System question of sharing the knowledge to the Library. He thought about the sharing of the System's knowledge… Then without hesitation said to the system, "System, give access to all the knowledge stored to the Void Library."
Knowledge, after all, was meant to be shared, and through that sharing, new breakthroughs could be made.
The System interface popped up again in front of him as he was going through the functions of the 2nd Floor.

After the System notification ended, energy passed through the Vector body into the Floor. Upon the end of the energy transfer, purple and blue light filled the 2nd floor. The energy began to cover the sections of the Crystal Wood shelves. Books began to materialize on these shelves. Slowly all the racks were full of books having all the knowledge that the System had from Stone Era to Information Era.
Vector moved near one of the shelves and took a book from it. The book was made of paper, and He began to read it. This book was titled "Primitive Agricultural Tools of the Stone Era." The books were also written in the language of the Ethereum planet, called Elynix.
Curiously, he also checked the durability of the book by tearing the page. But after the pages were torn the book shimmered with light and it became new again and the torn pages vanished in his hand, which he was holding.
Now he was sure that even if some tries to damage the book or tear a page to take with them, it is simply impossible as it will repair itself quickly. But if someone takes it outside the Library… then.
"System, can someone take the books stored here outside?"

Vector was relieved after hearing the System's explanation.
Then, he began to check the various shelves and As he explored further, he discovered entire sections dedicated to agriculture, manufacturing, medicine, pharmacology, engineering, and weapons.
As he moved from one shelf to another shelf to check. He reached near the section of the 2nd Floor where he saw many rooms.
He approached one of the rooms and entered it.
Inside, he saw that there was a simple Chair and Table in the center of the Room and arcane light illuminating the room. He also saw that glowing geometric designs were made on the Table and Chair. Around the table and chair, a transparent cube-like energy barrier shimmered faintly.
Vector moved to the center of the room and as he extended his hand to touch the energy barrier. His hands without any obstruction entered inside the energy barrier. Vector's eyes opened widely and eagerly he went inside. He feels that his mind sharpened, focus intensified when he entered inside the translucent Energy Barrier covering the Table and Chair. He also asked the system about it.
"System," Vector muttered, "Is the function of the 2nd floor you told earlier only accessible in this energy barrier."

[Yes. Comprehension, memory, clarity, and focus boosts are only active within the energy barrier. The formations embedded in the table and chair activate these effects.]
[This is why only 100 individuals can use the function at one time. As there are only 100 such rooms available.]

Vector nodded after hearing the System's Notification. So that's the reason behind the floor's capacity limit.
The glowing geometric designs on the Table and Chair were the formations, through which these functions are most probably derived.
He began to move again and checked the 2nd floor from one end to another end. And he found one more interesting room, a Circular Room, larger than the room he saw earlier by 4-5 times.
The Circular Room is on the centre of the 2nd Floor. He entered the Circular Room after finding its door.
Inside the Circular Room, he saw that there were various Furniture placed inside. This room looks like a meeting or living room, as he scanned the structure inside the room. Inside was a single door.
He tried opening it, but it didn't budge.
Suddenly, the System blue interface appeared in front of his eyes.

Access granted? Vector was confused. Why did he need Access to enter this room? He was eager to know; what is inside it? So he entered the room with haste… But inside he didn't find anything interesting, only a staircase ascending above.
He had some speculation that it was leading to the 1st Floor. From the System's Notification earlier he knows that the 1st floor is above the 2nd Floor, so maybe…
"System," he asked, "Why was access restricted, and where does this staircase lead?"

He followed the Staircase and reached the inside of the 1st floor after ascending the last Stair.
Inside, he saw simple, yet luxurious, furniture and there is even a bed in this floor although this floor appears small in size compared to the 2nd Floor. There is also a Crystal Orb floating in the centre of the room in midair. It glowed with a powerful blue aura. Vector moved toward the crystal and began observing the orb.
"System!, What is this Crystal Orb?"

[This is the Central Core of the Library. Once activated by the Host, it can be used to view all floors, modify internal structures, and add rooms or floors. However, the added rooms or floors or structure will not possess Library functions.]

Vector was first surprised as he heard that he can make more room. Then he can add more room on the 2nd floor to have more scholars trained… But the last sentence of the system poured cold water on his hopes. He can make more room but they will not have the functions of the Library. Only to be used as a restroom.
"Well this function can be then used to add more rooms and can be used by the people as a resting place and logistics, which is also good." he murmured, "And also have the surveillance of all the floors from here."
He then muttered, "System; What is the function of the 1st Floor?"

[Provides access and control over all floors and their functions. Can issue modifications to building structure.]
[The 1st Floor has all the Functions that the other three floors have.]

"Perfect. I'll use this as my command room." and also…
"Well, I can use this floor as my personal room as there is also a bed. And have the surveillance of all the Floor. Then Let's see the 3rd and 4th Floor from here. And also asks the system about the function of these 2 floors."
He moved near the Crystal Orb and placed his hands on it. The Projection Screen appeared before him. As he pulls his hands from the Orb, checking if it was still working, but nothing happened. The Projection Screen was still floating in front of him.
He then moved to the sofa to sit there and the Projection Screens also floated in front of him.
There are three Projection Screen floating in front of him, showing the 2nd-3rd-and-4th Floor.
"Show me the 3rd Floor," Vector said with a soft voice.
The Projection Screen, shifted, in front of him only showed the 3rd Floor's aerial view. He saw that the 3rd floor is divided into 3 sections. One section showed a Large Hall where a maximum of 2000 people could gather.
Other Section was showing rooms. Rooms here were more in number than the 2nd Floor as he looked in the projection. He then moved the Projection Screen inside the room.
Inside the room, he saw a pod on which a glowing geometric design was made, these are also probably Formations embedded in these pods and also the same Table and Chair as on the 2nd floor. The pods were large enough for an Adult Human to enter into it. Then he moved his projection to the last section of the 3rd Floor.
The last section somewhat surprised him; there were also Crystalwood shelves arranged here on this floor and Books were neatly arranged on them. He zoomed the Projection Screen on the Books and After reading the books title he confirmed that these books were on Martial Arts and Body Refining Manual.
He then tried to find the 3rd floor function, "System; what is the function of the 3rd floor?"

He stood up upon hearing the Functions of the 3rd floor– Training Floor.
The function of the 3rd Floor was more Heaven defying than the 2nd Floor. It also had simulation training available. The pods in the rooms were used to access the Simulation Space. Its function was also same as the System's Simulation function but the only downside is that it only grants 10 times the Time Acceleration while the System had 30 times.
After that he took his seat on the sofa again… and began his speculation.
"3rd Floor, training hall, had more capacity than the 2nd floor. Means I can train more than 500 soldiers at a time and with 20 times comprehension they can also learn the Martial Arts more quickly…" Vector muttered with surprise after going through the Training Floor function.
"The Table and Chair are for reading and comprehending the various Manuals available in the Book Section of the 3rd Floor and the practice in the Simulation Space."
Vector began to ponder the possibilities of the Simulation function. The army can be trained in various combat strategies and environments through the simulation. Can also give practical lessons to them by creating real war with various armies. Can be given training beforehand in firearms in Simulation Space even if it hadn't been made in the real world. Many possibilities began to appear in his mind as he thought about the Simulation training.
Without ever stepping onto a battlefield his army would have experience of the real battlefield in various terrain and situations, whether offensive or defensive.
After snapping out of these thoughts he then focused on the present. He shifted the Projection Screen to the 4th Floor.
The 4th Floor appeared entirely empty. Nothing was placed inside it, just a grand hall. He then focused the projection trying to find another structure but he didn't find a thing.
Curiously He said, "System; What is the function of the 4th Floor? Why is it empty?"

[Note: The Library does not provide readymade technology. Host must create it manually.]
[Reason for being empty, the Library will not provide any technology product. Host has to make it himself to do research.]

Vector after hearing the notification had an awkward expression… "All other floors had such heaven defying functions, but the Innovation Floor has such simple functions."
"…So no factory or auto-build function? Tch. At least give me a prototype lab… Alas I should be happy even then in obtaining such a Building for myself."
He chuckled softly.
"This will simply accelerate my plan to incorporate the Empire and also… to make spaceships… hehe…."
Here the scholars will innovate machines that build the Empire.
"This world should now see the comfort that machines bring in the daily life of a human."
