Brothers, Unleash Your Martial Spirits!

Early in the morning, Mo Bot knocked on their door.

"Time for breakfast!"

Jiang Xiaofeng and the others followed Mo Bot to the first-floor dining hall.

"Lord Mo Bot, breakfast is ready. Please follow me!"

By then, the dining hall was already bustling with soul masters.

Their ranks varied, but even the weakest among them were Soul Exalts. There was even a powerful Soul Emperor present.

As they saw Jiang Xiaofeng's group, murmurs broke out among the crowd.

"These are the disciples from the Spirit Hall who arrived yesterday? Looks like they're here to be someone's appetizer."

"Barely teenagers and daring to come to Death Canyon? The Spirit Hall must be getting cocky. Too pampered—don't even know how to spell 'death.'"

"Haha, four brats and a Soul Sect instructor? What a joke of a team!"

"Judging by their clothes, they must hold some status in Spirit Hall. Bet they're carrying plenty of treasures. Heh heh!"

Jiang Xiaofeng was the Holy Son, Hu Liena the Holy Maiden, and Xie Yue and Yan were key future prospects trained by Spirit Hall. Everything they wore or carried was top-tier—naturally a magnet for greedy eyes.

"Instructor, look at those soul masters—none of them are decent people!" said Hu Liena.

As a girl—and a Nine-Tailed Demon Fox at that—Hu Liena carried natural charm. Coupled with her figure and sweet looks, she attracted attention wherever she went.

Mo Bot replied, "This is the true face of the soul master world. In Spirit Hall, you're revered. Out here, you're surrounded by wolves and tigers. From now on, you must be cautious in everything—eating, sleeping, dressing. Even this breakfast."

No sooner had Mo Bot finished than Yan, who was already wolfing down his food, suddenly vomited in fear.

Mo Bot chuckled, "Yan, I meant check it before you eat. I already inspected this meal—it's fine. Besides, this inn belongs to Spirit Hall. Everything here is under our control. Got it?"

Yan patted his chest, visibly shaken.

"Instructor, can you finish a sentence in one go? You nearly scared me to death!"

Hu Liena smirked, "Serves you right. Maybe you'll finally learn your lesson."

Yan groaned, "Nana, you're so biased. What if it was Brother Feng who ate it?"

Hu Liena looked over at Jiang Xiaofeng.

"Brother Feng wouldn't be that reckless. Not like you!"

"…"

Mo Bot said, "Eat up. This might be the best meal you'll have for a long time. Don't expect this kind of food again anytime soon."

Yan went full-on food warrior—he wasn't about to miss out.

Jiang Xiaofeng wasn't picky. As long as it was edible and filled his belly, he didn't care what it was.

After breakfast, under the watchful gazes of the other soul masters, Jiang Xiaofeng and his group left the inn. Mo Bot led them toward Death Canyon.

After they left, a man appeared at the entrance of the inn.

"You dare covet people from Spirit Hall? Who gave you the guts?!"

Instantly, the entire inn fell silent. The soul masters who had just been planning to tail the group now trembled and knelt before this man. Even the Soul Emperor among them hit the ground.

Why? Because the man had revealed nine soul rings—he was a terrifying Titled Douluo, his aura crushing them like mountains.

"Hmph!"

With a flash, the figure disappeared. The pressure lifted, and the dining hall finally exhaled.

"Damn, a Titled Douluo! Spirit Hall plays rough."

"If they've got someone like that watching over them, those kids must be seriously important!"

"That's the first time I've seen a Titled Douluo. I used to think they weren't all that, but today I get it. That guy could kill me with just his aura."

"What a joke. You think anyone can be a Titled Douluo? They're the peak combat power on the entire continent. Spirit Hall's no joke."

Those who had thoughts of scoring some loot quickly realized they were lucky they hadn't acted—or they'd be corpses by now.

Death Canyon truly lived up to its name. It was a massive natural canyon, wide and flanked by towering cliffs, as if a mountain range had been split in two by sheer force.

As they approached the entrance, the stench of blood filled the air.

Even more chilling, there were corpses—many of them human—scattered at the canyon's mouth.

It was clear they had made it to the exit, only to be killed by soul beasts that chased them out.

Hu Liena, face pale, immediately hid behind Jiang Xiaofeng. She was, after all, a girl—and these grisly scenes were far from what she was used to.

Jiang Xiaofeng comforted her, "Don't be scared. We've got your back."

Hu Liena clutched the hem of his clothes tightly, her small face still ghostly white.

"Mm… I'm not scared!"

Mo Bot announced, "The special training begins now. Let's go. Follow me. We won't go too deep for now—move out!"

Mo Bot took the lead, Jiang Xiaofeng followed behind, and Xie Yue brought up the rear.

Inside Death Canyon, the trees were entirely black—from roots to leaves. It was Jiang Xiaofeng's first time seeing such an eerie forest.

Mo Bot explained, "Because of the death energy here, the trees have grown this way over the years. Never eat the fruit from these woods—it could be fatal."

"Understood!"

As they entered the forest, the bright skies above suddenly dimmed. Jiang Xiaofeng noticed the sunlight was being filtered out—the skies here remained gray and gloomy. You could still see, but it felt oppressive.

After walking for about half an hour, Mo Bot stopped.

"We're in the outer perimeter now. Stay alert. Don't get separated!"

Just as he spoke, a low, ominous growl echoed.

A shadow darted through the woods.

Mo Bot said calmly, "A three-thousand-year-old Twin-Headed Ghost Python. It's yours."

Jiang Xiaofeng and the others immediately assumed fighting stances.

"Unleash Martial Spirits!"

Four Soul Elders versus a three-thousand-year-old Twin-Headed Ghost Python—it was a tough fight. If they coordinated well, they could win, but mistakes could be deadly. After all, none of them had ever fought a soul beast over a thousand years old, let alone one this strong.

The python was incredibly fast. In an instant, it appeared before them.

Its body was covered in pitch-black scales, except for the two heads—each with blood-red eyes.

Its forked tongues flicked, and it stared down the four children, drool dripping from its mouths. To this beast, they looked like breakfast.

"Hisss!"

It lunged straight at them.

Jiang Xiaofeng shouted, "Nana!"

Even though Hu Liena was afraid, Jiang Xiaofeng was right beside her—so what was there to fear?

"First Soul Skill: Enchanting Fox Charm!"

A group control skill. Her eyes glowed purple, inflicting a forced 3-second stun.
