“The Dance of Blades and Lies”

Location: Imperial Palace – Midnight

Later that night, when the palace grew still, masked assassins struck.

Silent.

Deadly.

Ruthless.

Thirty elite killers, trained from birth to hunt royalty.

They descended upon Kael's quarters like shadows, their blades flashing under the moonlight.

But Kael had been waiting.

The moment the first assassin crossed the threshold—Zara was already moving.

Her blade flashed — two assassins fell without a sound.

Mira unleashed silent elemental spells, freezing weapons mid-air.

Velcia's daggers found hearts before cries could escape.

Selene directed the defense like a master general.

Evelyne shielded Kael, her soft light burning through curses and toxins.

Kael himself moved last — his body a blur.

With a flick of his wrist, he sealed the entire room with an ancient glyph — trapping the assassins inside a dimensional cage.

"Fools," Kael said coldly."Did you think killing me would be that easy?"

One assassin, trembling, tore off his mask and begged for mercy.

"It… it wasn't just us!" he gasped."The princes, the council, even some of the generals… they've all conspired! They fear you! They know you're not human!"

Kael's eyes narrowed.

He leaned closer, his voice soft and deadly.

"Good. Let them fear."

He snapped his fingers.

A golden flame consumed the assassins' corpses—leaving no evidence.

A New Plan

The next morning, while the Court whispered and pointed fingers at each other, Kael and his girls plotted.

If the Empire wanted to play games… Kael would win.

He wouldn't just survive.

He would conquer.

And to do that, he needed more allies — more pieces on the board.

It was time to recruit powerful factions:

Forgotten guilds,

Exiled nobles,

Hidden ancient clans…

And perhaps…Even some dangerous princesses who might join his side—for love or ambition.

Kael smiled darkly.

The Capital thought they had summoned a lamb.

But they had invited a dragon into their nest.
