Am unwise decision
Chapter 5
The family sat at the dinning table to have lunch together since it was lunar's last day at the palace... there was a heavy silence as each one was waiting for who would break the silence.
His majesty the king was boiling furiously and was venting all his anger on his plate of food while lunar watched with disdain..she has always hated her father right from childhood because of the way he treated her like an outcast.he was never pleased with anything she did and would constantly remind her of how he'd always wanted a male child.
The queen eager to please her husband advised him to go to a brothel and have his fill of the women there just so that perhaps he could father a child from one of them but
before that decision could be made one of the King's concubine came with prince Nicholas when he was three and introduced him to the family as the King's son.. although queen Eugenia was a little unhappy,she had no choice since it was what the king had always wanted and the child was a duplicate of his father.
"Mm mm.."Lord bassili cleared his throat and all eyes were turned to him"well...I just thought this feast was a little too quiet and pathetic so.."
"No one asked for your opinion.."his majesty snapped and his brother's triplets turned to him.two of the girls were identical while the other was fraternal.the identical twins were:Mika,and China while the fraternal one was:parker
"We are not here to fight..we only came to celebrate your daughter's wedding.
By the way,your majesty I had she's betrothed to crown king daemon Luciano of the viper kingdom"lady aurora said quickly and parker gulped.
"King daemon??"China gasped in horror ."mother isn't that the demon king who kills all his wives on their wedding night?"
"Those are just rumors dear"her mother said aloud smiling knowingly.
Lunar looked at her father and he looked away.. something was up.she could smell it but she wasn't worried about the rumors.
She'd always fantasized about marrying a dangerous man..she loved taking risks and had no fear for anyone so if her husband to be was rumored to be the devil she was ready as long as she could leave this palace which she loathed so much.
"It's ok aunt..if father has chosen him to be my husband I believe he has made the right decision since he's the king he wouldn't do anything that wi hurt me or would you father??"lunar asked coyly.
"No dear..I made this decision because it's what's best"the king grumbled
"Mum I heard king daemon had the power to set someone on fire..the punish there slaves by peeling there skin while they're still alive "Mika said and queen Eugenia choked on her food.
