Chapter 10

"You were going to say something Greta,say it.. what is it?"the young princess asked curious

"My lady..you just..broke a law"Greta stuttered and the princess furrowed her brows,she didn't understand a word the maid was saying

"What law?"

"You're forbidden from reciting the rosary or any holy verse and from holding the crucifix"

"Why?,who made such an archaic law?"

"It's one of his majesty's commandments and you just broke it"

Lunar looked at the maid and chuckled "hold on,let me get this straight..his majesty has commandments? like seriously?what is this place"!?

She was clearly mocking the king according to Greta's POV but of course it was Greta's duty to teach the princess all the commandments of the daemon king.

The sound of 6 inch heels echoed down the stairway to the underground floor which of course was the most sacred chambers of the demon king.

The queen mother Diane was making her way down there without being summoned but of course she knew the penalty for doing that although she wasn't really convinced her son could harm her.

"Your majesty!!"the knights guarding the door to the King's personal chamber bowed in acknowledgement.she waved off their salute and made to enter but one of the knights stopped her

"Your majesty,the king didn't request your presence"he said respectfully.

"Get out of the way you fool,I do not need the permission of anyone to see my son"queen mother Diane snapped at the knight and he cleared out of the way.her servants were instructed to wait behind.

Inside the bedroom of the king were all manner of paintingd and sculptures of art..and the one that disgusted the queen the most was the painting of Astaroth which her son painted himself.the creature was not only frightening,it was also abominable to the eyes but she daren't say this to her son.

She was here for a rather important mission
