Chapter 90: Awakening of the Hundred Giants
The sun had only just risen over the sacred Narmada, its early rays painting the sky with strokes of gold and rose. Mist hovered lightly above the river's surface, curling like the breath of slumbering serpents, while the forest whispered with a rare hush—as though all of nature waited.
By the banks of the Narmada, the warriors of Hastinapur stood, lined in disciplined rows. At the center, Rudra stood tall and motionless, his golden robes stirring faintly in the morning breeze. His third eye remained closed, his expression calm yet commanding. Behind him, the revered Mahishmati elders— Vijay , Veer and Suresh Pratap.
His disciples Varun, Arun, and Dhoomketu—watched silently, alongside Krishna, Subhadra, Dushala, Ishita, Bhoomi Devi, and other disciples.
Rudra raised his hand, and the entire gathering fell into deeper silence. Then, his voice resonated gently.
"Today, you shall awaken. You who were born of great boons and lineages, you who have grown through fire and battle. The time has come to awaken the Siddhi that slumbers within."
He turned to the hundred sons of Dhritarashtra.
"Step forward, sons of Gandhari."
The Kaurava brothers stepped forward, their breaths steady yet their hearts pounding with anticipation. The air grew heavier, charged with an unseen force.
Rudra chanted a mantra that shimmered with Prana Urja. The vibrations pulsed through the earth, reaching deep within the hearts of those gathered. The hundred brothers closed their eyes.
Suddenly, it began.
From within each of their cores, a radiant light burst outward—fiery, overwhelming, primal. Their bodies began to change.
Muscles swelled.
Bones thickened.
Heights soared.
Gasps escaped from the onlookers as each of the Kauravas grew into towering figures. Their skin hardened to an obsidian hue, dense with protective might. What once were tall princes were now giants—Shura-like titans exuding raw strength.
Their transformation was not uniform. Though all bore the same Siddhi—Titan's Embrace, a gift of Giant Muscles and Bones—their forms differed in magnitude.
The smallest of them stood at a formidable five meters.
The tallest...
Duryodhan.
Ten meters tall, a colossus among warriors. His body radiated a terrifying power, muscles glistening under divine energy. His eyes glowed faintly, and the earth beneath him trembled as he exhaled.
The crowd stood stunned. Even seasoned warriors like Suresh Pratap were momentarily speechless.
"Giant Muscles and Bones," Rudra said quietly. "A strength-type Siddhi... but amplified to levels unseen. Never before have all hundred awakened a collective power... such symmetry is divine."
Suresh Pratap stepped forward and said in awe, "This is not just strength. This Siddhi grants enhanced stamina, swift recovery, and hardened defense. These are not mere giants—they are fortified warriors of legend. Perhaps it is the blessing of Gandhari... or the seed of Mahadev's boon."
The devtas watching from the divine realms leaned forward. Even Indra furrowed his brow. "Such unity in awakening... is unheard of."
But before the awe could settle, Duryodhan stirred again.
His brows furrowed.
He turned to Rudra. "Bhaiya... I feel... there is something more inside me. A second power... hidden."
Rudra narrowed his eyes. "Close your eyes. Focus. Let it come to you."
Duryodhan did as told.
The air around him began to hum. Thunderless, yet filled with pressure. Slowly, a form began to manifest before him—a weapon, swirling in black and silver light.
It took shape... solidified.
A mighty Gada—its surface adorned with ancient glyphs, its core glowing like a thundercloud trapped in steel. It floated before him, vibrating with ferocious might.
He reached for it.
And the moment he gripped it, the name echoed in his heart:
Vajra Gada.
The sky cracked with light.
He opened his eyes, now burning with radiant determination. He looked at Rudra and said, "Its name is Vajra Gada... and it makes my bones as hard as Vajra itself.... Also it is Unbreakable and Unstoppable"
The silence was broken by a collective intake of breath.
Suresh Pratap's eyes widened. He turned to his father, Vijay Raj. "Father, Vajra Bone... VAJRA BONES!!!. Thats the inherent trait of our lineage, You and I in the family ever had it from birth."
(PS: Rudra is exception like com'on he is born with divine body and even if he was born with vajra bones it's all been upgraded to various degrees through his boons)
Vijay Raj Pratap nodded slowly. "And now, Duryodhan... he has earned it through his own awakening. This is beyond mortal."
Rudra remained still for a moment, then nodded. "Weapon-Type Siddhi... this is rare. Perhaps even Divine. Vajra Gada and Giant Form together… makes him an unstoppable mace warrior."
The celestial beings above, including Surya Dev, Yam Dev, Indra Dev, and even Ashwini Kumar are here, watched in stunned silence. They were here for their sons, yet the awakening of Duryodhan had shaken even the heavens.
Yudhishthir looked at the scene, his calm eyes thoughtful.
Karna, who stood nearby, narrowed his eyes—not in malice, but in recognition. "So... the Bull awakens," he murmured.
Dushala clapped her hands in awe. "Duryodhan Bhaiya looks like a walking mountain!"
Krishna smirked. "He's earned his Gada now. But he will still need lots of control... and guidance."
Rudra turned, giving a slight nod to Krishna. "He will have both."
Now, Rudra stepped forward.
"All Kauravas," he said, "except for Duryodhan, shall be divided into three divisions. Varun, Arun, and Dhoomketu—prepare them. Since all bear the same Siddhi, you shall train them equally but focus on refining their own potential."
Varun, the master of Vibration Siddhi and offensive combat, stepped forward. "I will take the ones with naturally aggressive fighting spirits."
Arun, his twin and wielder of Shockwave Siddhi, nodded. "And I will mold the swiftest and most agile among them."
Dhoomketu, the Four-Armed Sun Ape warrior, laughed heartily. "Leave the heavy bones to me. I'll forge their defense like mountain stone."
Each Kaurava bowed and moved to their respective mentors.
The sight of a hundred titans kneeling in perfect harmony stirred the hearts of every citizen watching from afar.
The earth itself bore witness to a rebirth.
An army of strength.
An army of giants.
An army that would one day shape the very course of Bharatvarsha.
And yet, the day was not done.
For the sons of Dharma, the Pandavas, would awaken next...
