Every time midnight passes, the name 4URmn_x or Midnight always haunts the Japanese gaming world. Known as the number one gamer, their skill across various genres – MMORPGs, gacha, and even platformers – has made them a mysterious and feared figure. No one knows their real identity. They always use the same username, avatar, and bio: "My name is Midnight. And this account is served for your midnight's nightmare with me as an x."
For years, Midnight has only ever lost once in each game, sparking various theories. Some say they did it on purpose, others believe their opponent was just lucky, and there are even rumors about a self-made intelligent automation program. Each of their victories always ends with the legendary message: "Too easy. Victory is mine."
However, everything changes when they are challenged to enter a mysterious survival game after getting humiliated by their rival, where every weekend, players must kill or manipulate each other to survive. Midnight arrives empty-handed, underestimated, and given the title "Mid Gamer" due to their weak physique and meager equipment.
But with their intelligence and survival instincts, Midnight is determined to prove that victory is not always determined by weapons or status, but rather by brains, courage, and precise timing.
Can Midnight change the game and carve their name into this survival world?

Five chapters in and I have some things I would like to address the novel is set in a familiar premise of In game MMORPG with VR. and it starts of great the Main Character is someone who is complete chad when it comes to Games. but there is still a bug of his past that haunts him and the story starts when that bug/person comes back for him. With a challenge. Overall a solid read would reccomend Though I got a bit lost here and there but it could be fault at my reading comprehension a Solid 4.4/5 for me

Damn... what the author wrote... the first chapter is going smoothly... but when I entered the next chapter, it gave me goosebumps... A hard work by the author... it's truly praisable... I dived and got lost in the world of midnight... I think the author added me into this game as a witness...
You should focus more on character design and development also a little more detailed world building might just do the work other than that writing quality is very good some words which I had to check up in my dictionary
wow bruh, i like the plot and this is a story about a VR game, moreover the style is Japanese style, it reminds me of sword art online hahah. i really like the concept plot, and it's really cool
5 chapters in, and I must say, I really like the realism of the chats, the players and the trashtalking, specially the conspiracies and twitter cancels. it has a very real feel. even the amount of usernames are either funny, cringe, or cool but all feels like a real username thats been used before. plot is always on the track, it did not swerve a bit out of the game genre, its always on the track and leaned heavy on it. its the strenth of the novel and thats what i like about it.

Novel is really good. Ngl beats most of what I've been attempting to read so far. If you're looking for somewhat of a SAO inspired and lively character novel this would be for you.
The story is very intriguing. The way it is written also helps imagine everything vividly. I like the story. I can't wait to read more.
First impressions: The premise is extremely intriguing something like a cross between Sword Art Online and Squid Game. I'm not a big fan of the genderbender stuff but that's a personal opinion and doesn't detract from the overall quality of the work which is pretty well thought out. A great story so far
