**Chapter 75: Trading a Sun Stone**
There wasn't much going on the first day of school. It was mostly classmates gathering to chat, picking up their textbooks and such. The teacher didn't give any formal lessons, and the day just casually passed by.
As soon as he got home, Bai Feng saw Chikorita dart out from the Yard, leaping into Bai Feng's arms to cuddle him.
"Chika~ Chika~" Why are you back so late? I missed you so much...
Chikorita nuzzled and squirmed in Bai Feng's arms, acting spoiled.
Since it was the first day of school, Bai Feng was worried that his Pokémon would be bored if he brought them along, so he had them all stay at home. He didn't even come back for lunch.
This was the first time Chikorita hadn't seen Bai Feng for most of the day since being with Bai Feng. It had been restless and anxious all day, constantly running to the Yard Entrance to see if Bai Feng had returned.
Bai Feng stroked Chikorita's back and said, "Alright, I'll take you with me tomorrow."
"Chika~" Really?
Chikorita looked at Bai Feng with its watery, big eyes, a tear still clinging to the corner.
"Really, I won't lie to you," Bai Feng promised.
"Chika~ Chika~" Okay then, you must take me with you tomorrow.
Chikorita twisted and wiggled its way down from Bai Feng's arms.
After greeting his Pokémon upon arriving home, Bai Feng entered his Room and turned on his computer. He planned to look online to see if he could find any leads on a high quality Sun Stone.
Helioptile's Hidden Energy Circuit was about to be fully lit up. If the evolution stone wasn't ready, wouldn't that delay its evolution?
Chikorita followed Bai Feng into the Room step by step. Seeing Bai Feng busy on the computer, it quietly squatted beside him and watched.
Bai Feng logged into an Online Trading Platform. This was a legitimate trading platform created by the Pokémon League, ensuring security. Pokémon Trainers could freely trade items and information on it.
Bai Feng searched the evolution item section for a long time. There were quite a few Sun Stones, but their quality was all very average. He couldn't bear to let his Helioptile evolve using such a low-quality evolution stone.
Actually, Bai Feng had posted a bounty post for high quality evolution stones on this platform several days ago. Unfortunately, this bounty was like a stone sinking into the sea; hardly anyone responded, and those who did comment in the post were just talking nonsense.
The main reason was that Bai Feng's requirement for evolution stone quality was too high. Even if others really had one, they wouldn't be willing to sell it.
Bai Feng flipped through his bounty post again. Still, no one had replied. He thought for a moment, then finally took out a Water Stone, took a photo of it, and uploaded it to the platform, planning to trade item for item.
Bai Feng had obtained a total of six high quality Water Stones from the Legendary Birds. He gave one each to Lysandre and Calyrex, and sold one to Grandpa Fu. He currently had three left.
Bai Feng indicated the specific quality of the Water Stone in the Transaction Information and attached a description, stating he wanted to exchange it for a Sun Stone of equivalent quality.
Perhaps the photo of the Water Stone was too eye-catching, because as soon as Bai Feng's Transaction Information was posted, someone immediately responded.
"Is the quality of your Water Stone really the same as in the photo?" a Pokémon Trainer with a Seel avatar sent a message asking.
Bai Feng replied, "The photo is of the actual item, guaranteed authentic!"
After a while, the Seel avatar sent another message asking, "I have a Thunder Stone of slightly lower quality. Can we trade?"
Bai Feng thought to himself: You must be dreaming!
"Only need a Sun Stone, thank you," Bai Feng politely refused.
But Seel seemed unwilling to give up and sent another message: "My Thunder Stone's quality is really only a little bit lower than your Water Stone. Maybe someone would be willing to trade a Sun Stone for a Thunder Stone."
Bai Feng glanced at the message sent by the other party and found it amusing. Before he could reply, another person sent a message inquiring about the Water Stone.
This time, the message was from a Pokémon Trainer with a Kingdra avatar. The other party asked, "I don't have a Sun Stone, but I have a Leaf Stone of the same quality. Can we exchange?"
Bai Feng replied, "Sorry, I only want a Sun Stone."
The other party didn't pester him like the first one, simply replying, "Alright then, I'll go ask around later to see if there's any news about a Sun Stone. I'll contact you then."
Bai Feng ended the conversation with Kingdra. Seeing that the Seel was still sending messages non-stop, trying to persuade Bai Feng to trade his Water Stone for its Thunder Stone, Bai Feng ignored him and directly blocked him.
Next, a Pokémon Trainer with a blue Jellicent avatar inquired about Bai Feng's Water Stone. He also didn't have a Sun Stone, so he asked if he could exchange it for a Dusk Stone.
Of course, Bai Feng refused.
Bai Feng sat in front of the computer for over an hour. During this time, many Pokémon Trainers sent messages inquiring about the Water Stone trading situation, but without exception, none of them had a Sun Stone of equivalent quality.
These inquirers either wanted to exchange for other evolution stones of the same quality, or they simply wanted to take advantage. Some even asked if Bai Feng could sell the Water Stone directly for money.
Of course, he couldn't! He couldn't buy others' Sun Stones with money, so naturally, others couldn't buy his Water Stone with money.
It wasn't until Bai Ye came in and called Bai Feng out for dinner that Bai Feng turned off the computer.
Just as he was about to get up, he looked down and saw Chikorita looking up at him.
Bai Feng asked in surprise, "You've been staying here the whole time?"
"Chika~ Chika~" Yes, yes.
Chikorita walked up to Bai Feng and rubbed its little head affectionately against Bai Feng's pants leg.
Bai Feng bent down and picked it up, saying, "Why are you staying here with me? I get busy and can't pay attention to you."
Chikorita looked straight up at Bai Feng with an expression that said, "I don't understand what you're saying."
Bai Feng said helplessly, "Alright, let's go eat dinner."
"Chika~ Chika~" Eat! Eat!
Chikorita cheered, wiggling its body in Bai Feng's arms.
After finishing dinner, Bai Feng gave his Pokémon and Bai Ye a care session. Since it was only Brionne, Helioptile, Larvitar, Chikorita, and Bai Ye, Bai Feng finished the work quickly.
Returning to his Room, Bai Feng opened the computer again and logged into the trading platform, then was surprised to find that his Private Messages were already 99+.
Bai Feng had to check them one by one. In the end, he found that most were still invalid messages, but a message from someone with a Drednaw avatar caught Bai Feng's attention.
He said he had a Dawn Stone of even higher quality than Bai Feng's Water Stone and wanted to ask if Bai Feng could exchange it for the Water Stone. He also sent a photo of the Dawn Stone.
Bai Feng clicked on the photo and found that it was indeed a Dawn Stone of extremely high quality, overall bluish-green, crystal clear and more beautiful than a gem.
From the photo, the quality of that Dawn Stone did appear to be slightly higher than Bai Feng's Water Stone.
Unfortunately, Bai Feng didn't need a Dawn Stone.
But this person, just like the previous Seel, kept sending messages tirelessly trying to persuade Bai Feng to trade, even though Bai Feng had already politely refused him.
Just as Bai Feng was about to block him as well, he saw the photo of the Dawn Stone again. Bai Feng suddenly felt something was off.
Bai Feng stared at the photo for a while, then zoomed in, and finally saw traces of a watermark residue on the photo.
This meant that the photo was very likely stolen by Drednaw from someone else, otherwise why would he remove the watermark from the photo? This Drednaw might even be planning to use it to trick Bai Feng out of his Water Stone.
It was just a pity that his skills weren't good enough, and subtle watermark traces still remained on the photo.
This time, Bai Feng not only blocked him but also submitted a report against him.
Even if he wasn't a scammer, Bai Feng wouldn't feel guilty reporting him. It was his fault for being so annoying.
After dealing with that potential scammer, Bai Feng continued browsing messages. Just then, Bai Feng suddenly saw that the previous Kingdra had sent another message.
He told Bai Feng that an elder in his family had a Sun Stone of equivalent quality, but the elder didn't need a Water Stone; instead, they needed a Dusk Stone.
Bai Feng quickly searched through his previous messages and soon found the Pokémon Trainer with the blue Jellicent avatar. Bai Feng remembered that he happened to have a Dusk Stone.
So Bai Feng immediately sent him a message asking if he wanted to trade with him and informed him about the other Pokémon Trainer who had the Sun Stone.
Because it involved a three-party trading, Bai Feng had to make sure everything was clearly explained beforehand.
Of course, Jellicent was willing. So Bai Feng then contacted Kingdra again.
Soon, Kingdra recommended his elder's account to Bai Feng. It was a Pokémon Trainer with a Dragonite avatar. Bai Feng successfully added him as a friend.
After communicating with Dragonite, Bai Feng, Jellicent, and Dragonite jointly signed a Transaction Agreement.
The Agreement was drafted by the platform, and signing it required Real-Name Verification. If any part of the process went wrong, the person responsible for that part would be held accountable by the platform.

The next day, when Bai Feng went to school, he indeed brought Chikorita with him.
He also asked his other Pokémon if they wanted to go to school with him, but Helioptile and Brionne both refused. They wanted to stay home and train; school was too boring.
Bai Ye didn't want to go out either. Only Larvitar was indifferent, so Bai Feng had to take it and Chikorita with him.
Larvitar was too conspicuous, and Bai Feng didn't want to attract too much attention, so he had to put it into a Poké Ball. Larvitar didn't mind, happily licking a small piece of Silver-Gold Stone that Bai Feng had given it that morning.
Yes, not chewing, but licking.
Because the Silver-Gold Stone was only a small piece, Larvitar was reluctant to eat it all at once, so it held it in its paw and licked it occasionally. By the time they left home, that small piece of Silver-Gold Stone had been licked until it was sparkling.
After entering the Poké Ball, Larvitar continued to lick the Silver-Gold Stone.
Only Chikorita remained outside. It happily trotted behind Bai Feng, skipping and bouncing all the way to school, humming a cheerful tune.
Chikorita's singing was learned from Brionne, but its voice was naturally not as melodious as Brionne's, so it sounded a bit awkward.
Because of this awkward singing, Bai Feng's low-key plan went down the drain. Passing classmates couldn't help but turn their gaze towards Chikorita, because it was singing so engrossed that it made Bai Feng, its Pokémon Trainer, also the center of attention.
When it noticed everyone looking at it, Chikorita wasn't shy at all; instead, it sang even more enthusiastically. It thought everyone was looking at it because they liked it.
Bai Feng practically walked into the Classroom with his head down the whole way. He didn't want to dampen Chikorita's young spirit, so he could only silently endure everyone's intense gazes.
Walking to his seat, Bai Feng sat down and picked up Chikorita, placing it on the desk.
After a while, Student Dafu also arrived. He was very surprised to see Bai Feng's Chikorita and strode over to Bai Feng, saying:
"Bai Feng, you've also caught a new Pokémon! And it's a Chikorita, not bad."
Saying this, he sent out his Bounsweet.
Bai Feng didn't expect his Chikorita and Dafu's Bounsweet to get along so well. As soon as they met, Chikorita gave Bounsweet a big gift.
As for what the big gift was, of course, it was the leaves on Chikorita's head!
When the leaf on Chikorita's head suddenly broke off, it nearly scared Dafu's Bounsweet half to death. It wasn't until the leaf grew back that Bounsweet finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Bai Feng patted Chikorita's head helplessly and said, "Didn't I tell you not to give others leaves as gifts all the time?"
However, Chikorita was only focused on playing with Bounsweet and didn't take Bai Feng's words seriously at all.
The taste of Chikorita's leaves was rich and fragrant, which Bounsweet really liked. So Bounsweet arrogantly instructed Student Dafu to keep it safe for it.
That's right, it was an instruction, and an arrogant one at that.
Bounsweet's attitude towards Student Dafu was exactly the same as Furfrou's. When that small, cute face showed an arrogant expression, it truly made Student Dafu unable to resist.
Bai Feng had originally been curious why Student Dafu had suddenly changed his affection, but it seemed his peculiar preference remained unchanged as always.
However, unlike Furfrou, Bounsweet's attitude towards others or Pokémon was quite friendly, unlike Furfrou, which was aloof towards everyone and always acted superior.
Chikorita and Bounsweet indeed got along well. Because they were having so much fun, both Pokémon unconsciously emitted a strong aroma, which didn't dissipate until the Teacher entered the Room.
Bai Feng and their homeroom Teacher, Teacher Hanada, was a very skilled Pokémon Breeder who knew everything about various Pokémon.
As soon as she entered the Classroom door, she smelled the fragrant aroma wafting towards her. She gently twitched her nose and then said, "This is... the aroma of Bounsweet?"
"No..." Then she overturned her judgment, "There's also a hint of Chikorita's scent mixed in..."
As she walked towards the podium, she said, "Have any classmates in our class caught Bounsweet and Chikorita?"
Upon hearing this, the classmates all turned their gaze towards Bai Feng and Student Dafu, and at this moment, Chikorita and Bounsweet very cooperatively let out a cry.
Teacher Hanada smiled and said, "Since we've mentioned Chikorita and Bounsweet today, why don't we spend this class talking about the knowledge related to these two Pokémon?"
"I'm sure you've all heard of the item called Incense..."
