**Chapter 77: The Storm Subsides**
Since Helioptile was fine and even gained some benefits, Bai Feng felt relieved and went home with Bai Ye.
Passing by the Orchard, Bai Feng felt heartbroken seeing more and more fruit trees blown down by the strong wind. But there was nothing he could do; the rain had come so suddenly that he didn't even have time to prepare any protection.
Returning to the Yard, Bai Feng saw the three little ones, Chikorita, Larvitar, and Buneary, squatting side-by-side at the entrance, looking out expectantly. He and Bai Ye quickly sped up their steps and ran towards Home.
On the other side, after rushing for some time, Zapdos and Moltres finally arrived deep within the mountains. This place was rarely visited by humans and should have been home to many wild Pokémon, but a fierce battle was currently erupting, and the wild Pokémon had long since vanished without a trace.
In the sky, a green Pokémon and a blue Pokémon were engaged in a Pokémon battle against a yellow Pokémon and a pink Pokémon.
The green Pokémon and the blue Pokémon would unleash powerful energy during battle, causing intense hurricanes and thunderstorms.
It was clear that the abnormal weather around Biyi City was caused by these two Pokémon. The experienced Zapdos and Moltres also recognized the identity of the four Pokémon in the battle.
The green one was Tornadus, the blue one Thundurus, the yellow one Landorus, and the pink one Enamorus.
Zapdos and Moltres had heard of the legend of these four Pokémon; after all, they were all in the same circle.
A long time ago, some humans worshipped the Sea God Kyogre and built a shrine for worship. In response to their prayers, Kyogre left a portion of its power in the shrine.
Although both Kyogre and Lugia held the title of Sea God, the true Sea God was only Kyogre. Lugia was actually the God of Monsoons; its Sea God title was merely bestowed upon it by humans because humans first encountered Lugia in the ocean.
Lugia lived in the sea and could control ocean currents and improve the marine environment, which is why people gave it the title of Sea God.
But in reality, the true controller of the great sea was Kyogre. In the ocean, Kyogre possessed power even greater than Lugia's.
However, since ancient times, Kyogre had rarely appeared before humans, and gradually, people forgot its identity.
Later, people's worship of Kyogre faded. To prevent the power within the ocean shrine from being exploited by villains, Kyogre sank the ocean shrine to the seabed.
There were two such shrines. One was guarded by the Mythical Pokémon Manaphy, and the other by the Mythical Pokémon Meloetta.
The shrine guarded by Manaphy would change location with the shifts in ocean currents, making its trace difficult to find. The shrine guarded by Meloetta, however, was located on Three-Cloud Island in the Unova Region.
Meloetta held an item inherited from ancient times, the Reveal Glass. This item could not only control the four Legendary Pokémon—Thundurus, Tornadus, Landorus, and Enamorus—but also unleash their hidden power.
Therefore, these four Pokémon would usually help Meloetta guard the shrine on Three-Cloud Island.
Because Thundurus and Tornadus had violent natures and extremely strong destructive urges, they were usually forced into slumber by Meloetta using the Reveal Glass for most of the time. Only the gentle-natured Landorus and Enamorus were free to move around.
Zapdos and Moltres didn't understand why these four Pokémon were currently in the Kalos Region and had erupted into conflict.
Generally speaking, Thundurus and Tornadus were no match for Landorus and Enamorus. Among the four Pokémon, Landorus was the strongest.
Under the strong offensive of Landorus and Enamorus, Thundurus and Tornadus gradually fell into a disadvantage.
However, just then, Tornadus suddenly pulled out an ancient-looking mirror from behind it. A silver-white beam of light shot out from the mirror, shining on Tornadus and Thundurus respectively. The form of these two Pokémon actually began to slowly change.
Thundurus transformed from its humanoid form into a blue beast with four claws, while Tornadus transformed from its humanoid form into a green monstrous bird with wings.
After their forms changed, these two Pokémon suddenly became stronger, and their attack movements became increasingly fierce. Landorus and Enamorus actually seemed to be at a slight disadvantage.
It was clear that the mirror Tornadus had taken out was Meloetta's Reveal Glass. They just didn't know how it had fallen into Tornadus's hands and was being used against Landorus and Enamorus.
As the forms of Tornadus and Thundurus changed, the hurricanes and lightning they caused became even more intense.
Zapdos and Moltres understood that they had to intervene. If these two Pokémon were allowed to continue their rampage, this piece of earth would suffer unprecedented destruction.
Boom!!!
With a loud noise, Landorus was hit by Thundurus's Dark Pulse and crashed heavily onto the ground, creating a large crater on a hillside.
Seeing Thundurus injured, Enamorus looked anxious. In its panic, it was also hit by Tornadus's Hurricane.
Thundurus wanted to press its advantage, but suddenly an Incinerate descended from the sky, instantly engulfing Thundurus.
On the other side, Tornadus, who was battling Enamorus, was simultaneously engulfed by a column of lightning.
Both Pokémon cried out in unison.
It was then that Landorus and Enamorus noticed the presence of Zapdos and Moltres. Their eyes lit up, guessing that reinforcements had arrived.
Moltres's Fire-Type Moves were weakened in the thunderstorm, so although Thundurus sustained injuries from that attack, they weren't actually severe.
Tornadus, however, was in a bad state. Its type was weak to Zapdos, and with the added effect of the thunderstorm, a single Thunder attack sent it into full-body convulsions from the electric shock.
Tornadus and Thundurus looked at the suddenly appearing Zapdos and Moltres with eyes full of hatred.
"Roar~"
Thundurus roared, trying to warn Zapdos and Moltres not to interfere.
"Screech~"
"Screech~"
Zapdos and Moltres refused without hesitation.
Their refusal made Landorus and Enamorus breathe a sigh of relief. Tornadus and Thundurus in their Therian Formes were truly too difficult to deal with. Landorus and Enamorus weren't confident they could subdue them unless they also transformed into their Therian Formes.
But transforming into their Therian Formes required the help of the Reveal Glass, and the Reveal Glass was in Tornadus's hands.
Thundurus, angered by the refusal, immediately called Tornadus to attack Zapdos and Moltres together.
Tornadus had just experienced Zapdos's attack and was still seething with anger. Without a word, it controlled a Hurricane and flung it towards Zapdos, wishing it could split Zapdos in half.
Thundurus, meanwhile, controlled its Thunder Move and attacked Moltres.
"Screech~"
"Screech~"
The two Legendary Birds didn't back down at all. They flapped their wings, quickly dodging the attacks from the two clouds, and respectively controlled lightning and Ancient Power to counterattack Tornadus and Thundurus.
Because Fire-Type Moves were difficult to control in the rain, Moltres gave up using its best flames to attack Thundurus and instead used Ancient Power, which was super effective against it.
Landorus and Enamorus wouldn't just stand by at this time. Taking advantage of Thundurus and Tornadus being distracted by Moltres and Zapdos, they respectively used Stone Edge and Spring Storm to attack them.
Facing Tornadus and Thundurus in their Therian Formes, Zapdos and Moltres were under a lot of pressure. But with the addition of Landorus and Enamorus, the pressure on the two Legendary Birds significantly decreased.
Zapdos and Landorus teamed up to deal with Tornadus, while Moltres and Enamorus teamed up to deal with Thundurus.
Even if the Therian Formes of Tornadus and Thundurus were powerful, facing the combined attack of two beings at their level, they were still difficult to resist.
"Roar!!!"
Finally, Tornadus was the first to be hit by the moves of Zapdos and Landorus. After a cry of pain, it fell from the sky.
At the same time, as the battle on Zapdos's side intensified, the abnormal weather became more and more terrifying. The torrential rain wouldn't stop for a moment, accompanied by increasingly frequent thunderclaps.
If this continued, the entire Biyi City would likely be submerged by rainwater.
Bai Feng stood at the entrance of his Home, looking at the increasingly heavy downpour in the sky, his brows furrowed tightly. If it kept raining like this, would his Orchard still be salvageable?
On the other side, the battle involving Zapdos was finally reaching a conclusion. Under the combined assault of Zapdos, Moltres, Landorus, and Enamorus, Tornadus and Thundurus were struck down to the ground.
Just as Zapdos and the others were about to deliver the final blow to the two clouds, Tornadus surprisingly took out the Reveal Glass again. A black light suddenly shot out from the Reveal Glass, landing directly on Thundurus.
An anomaly occurred at this moment.
After being struck by that black light, Thundurus's originally lively eyes suddenly became dull and lifeless. Like a controlled puppet, it disregarded its severe injuries and, with lightning speed, used the Move Outrage to crash into the nearest Zapdos.
Zapdos wanted to dodge, but it was too late. It could only barely fold its wings and protect its body.
Bang~
With a loud noise, Zapdos was sent flying.
Seeing this scene, Moltres became furious. Its entire body blazed with flames, and the roaring flames erupted, burning the area around it into a vacuum zone. The rainwater was evaporated without a trace before it could even get close.
Even Landorus and Enamorus couldn't help but quietly move a little further away from Moltres.
A ring of fire spread out from Moltres, engulfing Thundurus in the blink of an eye. Thundurus, already heavily injured, couldn't withstand Moltres's full-power attack and fell straight to the ground. Even Tornadus controlling it with the Reveal Glass was useless now.
The moment Thundurus was knocked down, Landorus and Enamorus also delivered the final blow to Tornadus, preventing it from continuing to cause trouble with the Reveal Glass.
Moltres quickly flew to Zapdos's side and asked, "How are you? Are you alright?"
Zapdos stood up, enduring the intense pain, and shook its head, saying to Moltres, "I'm fine. You should dispel this thunderstorm first, or this place will be flooded if the rain keeps falling."
Moltres nodded, then spread its wings and flew high into the sky. As it threw a crimson orb of light into the clouds, the oppressive dark clouds in the sky instantly dispersed, and the torrential rain stopped abruptly in that same moment.
Golden sunlight shone directly down, dispelling all gloom.
Bai Feng, standing at the entrance of his Home, was momentarily stunned by the sudden stop of the heavy rain. So, the wind and rain really weren't normal, were they?
Realizing what had happened, Bai Feng quickly took off running towards the Orchard. He wanted to see how badly his Orchard had been destroyed.
With the battle over, Zapdos and Moltres also learned the reason for this battle from Landorus and Enamorus.
It turned out that Tornadus and Thundurus were unhappy with Meloetta's long-term forced sealing of them using the Reveal Glass. After a brief awakening, they had actually stolen the Reveal Glass and escaped from Three-Cloud Island.
After Landorus and Enamorus discovered this, they tracked them all the way, following them across the sea, and finally arrived in the Kalos Region.
Fortunately, Zapdos and Moltres appeared in time. Otherwise, Tornadus and Thundurus might have truly escaped with the power of the Reveal Glass.
Given their tempers, they would likely cause a disaster wherever they went.
In fact, the ones Landorus and Enamorus should truly thank were Bai Feng. Without Bai Feng, their fate would have been far more tragic than they could have imagined.
If Bai Feng hadn't appeared, Lugia wouldn't have been saved. In the near future, it would have been completely corrupted by Yveltal's power, turning into a puppet, and even killing the Legendary Birds that guarded it.
And Landorus and Enamorus, without the support of Zapdos and Moltres, would have been soundly defeated in their battle against Thundurus and Tornadus.
The final outcome would have been that although Landorus successfully captured Thundurus and Tornadus, it would have been at the cost of Enamorus's life.
At the same time, the Reveal Glass would have been lost in the battle.
The loss of the Reveal Glass would have then caused a series of troublesome events in the future.
Now, all of this had significantly changed because of Bai Feng, this small pair of butterfly wings.
