We found the entrance to the next dungeon. It was a giant skull
carved into a cliffside, lit by torches that definitely didn't pass fire
safety inspection.
"Why does this place look like it was decorated by a goth wedding
planner?" Allie asked.
Inside? Red lighting. Ambient fog. Random chains. Trapdoors that
screamed when triggered. The whole vibe was very 'haunted
nightclub for evil bosses.'
Kyuu whispered, "Okay but this aesthetic kinda slaps."
We fought through shadow beasts, floating masks, and one very
angry chandelier. Vish kept muttering, "I feel at home here," which
was concerning. Allie cast sparkly shields. I tried to not get flattened.
Then the boss showed up: a nine-foot tall armor suit named Sir Emo
Malice, the Third. He did the slow boss walk for dramatic effect. Vox
groaned.
"Do we really have to wait for this guy to finish his entrance
monologue?"
"Yes," Kyuu sighed. "It's in the genre rules."
