Richard's POV.
"What do we do?" one of the warriors asked, his voice trembling.
I turned to face them, my eyes scanning their worried faces.
"We only have one option: we fight," I said, my voice heavy with resignation.
The warriors exchanged nervous glances. "Fight?" one of them repeated. "My lord, we can't take on that many men. None of us will survive. It's better we retreat," he suggested.
The others nodded in agreement, their voices rising in a chorus of "Yes, my lord, let's fall back!"
Their words ignited a fire within me, and I exploded in anger.
"Quiet!" I barked, my voice echoing across the battlefield. "Aren't we warriors?! When we left the pack, we swore to protect it with our lives! So what happens now? You want to run away with your tails between your legs?" I sneered, my eyes blazing with contempt.
