Chapter 9

  My mother, fearing that John  would die at my doorstep, had someone take

  him to the hospital.

  After learning that I had agreed to his

  pursuit, Han became even more attached to me.

  If he had a tail, it would definitely be

  wagging high in the air.

  What I didn't expect was that John  still hadn't given up.

  He brought the crippled Sharon to me,

  dragging her around like a piece of trash.
