Chapter 6

Jerome revealed the diamond ring and pointed at the love bites on his neck with a fake smile.

"Mr. Sterling, you harassed my fiancée, and I wouldn't mind having you spend two days at the police station."

Tristen clenched his fists, his eyes bloodshot, and he grabbed Jerome's collar.

"How dare you hit on my woman! You were asking for trouble, Jerome!"

Jerome's expression remained unchanged, but he slowly and deliberately rolled up his sleeves.

I knew Tristen too well, and he looked like he was about to lose his sanity.

I stepped forward quickly and pushed Tristen away, saying, "We broke up. Please take care of yourself, Mr. Sterling."

Afterward, I grabbed Jerome's hand and said, "Let's go."

  A loud snap sounded.

It made me involuntarily turn around, and my face changed.

Tristen angrily smashed the bottles on the table, and glass shards scattered everywhere.
