In his previous life, the genius angler Zhang Yang was seen as a heartless spendthrift by his family and friends.
Due to a momentary mistake, he made a grave error, and the death of his father became his lifelong regret.
In this life, fate has given him a chance to start over. Zhang Yang decides to rely on his skills and knowledge to make something of himself!
This is the story of a genius angler going back nine years, using his exceptional skills and foresight to reach the pinnacle of the professional fishing sport.
This review is based on the free chapters. Zhang Yang regresses to 9 years in the past. He basically learned things the hard way in his first life and upon given a second chance, he slaps himself awake, fulfilling the filial piety role of a dutiful son. Or at least that's how the story seems to be going so far. It took him the entire first life for him to realize how selfish he was. But that's part of life, isn't it? Making mistakes (whichever degree) and (hopefully) learning from them to become better versions of ourselves. I expected the story to focus on MC fishing like crazy, but it's actually pretty chill. I'd say it's a mix of slice of life with elements of business and chill. Give the story a try. It's not terrible.
