The third character Qin Hao wrote was 'Sky.' Though it consisted of merely four strokes, each stroke was imbued with a grand and majestic feeling, like a burst of water and the playful flight of a flock of swans over the sea.
Upon seeing this character, Zhang Renping fell into a long period of silence. Then he shook his head, deciding not to ask Qin Hao to be his disciple because he felt unworthy of such a penmanship!
"I realize I'm not qualified to take him as my disciple."
Zhang Renping chuckled bitterly.
"A superb piece, truly superb..."
After observing the 'Sky' character, Huang Jixiu's expression became quite expressive. He sighed lightly and said, "Indeed, this young man's level is in no way inferior to ours. To want to take him as a disciple is our arrogance! None of us have that qualification!"
