" What if I spend money by buying online on a video game? That would be the most efficient! Who needs to go to a physical store and spend things manually, when everything can be done while sitting in one place?"

Xiao Chen quickly came up with a solution, but he was not sure if it'd work.

" Jarvis, will the conversion work if I spent money online, in a video game?"

[Replying to the host! Yes, it will work. Almost all sending methods work, but spending money by donation and charity will not work!]

Xiao Chen searched for a bench nearby to sit and earn money immediately by buying in-game items and subscriptions. 

After searching around for a while, he found a public bench and sat there. He took out his phone and opened the game he played–Mobile Legends. 

There were a lot of juicy things that Xiao Chen could spend money on quickly. From buying diamonds, skin packs, directly buying legendary or collector rank skins, characters, and emotes—everything.

Originally, Xiao Chen was poor. So, he couldn't spend money on these sites. Thus, currently he had no money topped up.

Xiao Chen then proceeds to buy everything he could think of. But first, he bought the items at a lower price to check if everything was real and he wasn't just having a rollercoaster of a dream.

Only after the return money can he be assured.

The system sent a confirmation message, and after some moment, his mobile phone vibrated,

[Dear Customer, your account ending in 4567 XXXX has been debited with $ 100 on 20 XX /XX /XX.]

[Current balance: $440.]

The confirmation message from the bank made Xiao Chen excited. He then frantically tapped on his phone screen at rapid speed, earning more notifications from the system.

After a few minutes of furiously tapping, he'd manage to earn a collectively of $24,000 before all the available items were greyed out, meaning that it can't be buyed anymore. When you think about it in a grand scheme, $ 24,000 aren't much, but for current Xiao Chen, they were a lot.

To go on a date with Li Mei, Xiao Chen had to take on multiple part time jobs. And now, she is no longer with him and he had a fortune system, he didn't need to work those part-time jobs. 

"Tomorrow, I will visit my workplace and inform them about my resignation."

He had no qualms about leaving that pathetic life of a simp. Instead, he was happy that Xiao Chen's now ex-girlfriend had left him for the only purpose of money, and had shown her real colors.

It'd only been two months since Xiao Chen and Li Mei started dating. If it had been longer, it might have hurt more from the breakup. But, due to the short duration, Xiao Chen was not that much attached to Li Mei. And thus, not hurt much from their breakup.That didn't mean that he wasn't angry with Li Mei for acting like a B*tch.

Xiao Chen's stomach roared, singling him to send some food down there.

It was currently evening in Qingshan City. Earlier, Xiao Chen had left everything after receiving the message from Li Mei. She had asked him to meet in the Central Qingshan Park by 5:30 o'clock, but Xiao Chen had already arrived 30 minutes earlier, leaving his lunch. 

He was hungry, so Xiao Chen went to a 5-star hotel. Normally, he wouldn't even dare to look towards the sign board of 5-star hotels. It would cost him his entire month's savings to even spend a night there. But, after the system's arrival, money was the last thing that he needed to worry about.

Besides, hotel rooms are very expensive. He didn't know about that exactly, but he knew that it was a lot. Costing around or above $500 for a VIP room.

His apartment back in the university was tiny, having to live with other roommates, which wasn't a good experience.

So, a hotel was a good option.

After taking a taxi, he arrived in Jade Dragon Pavilion. A super famous hotel in Qingshan City which is known for its luxury and expensiveness.

The outside of a five-star hotel was built to impress with its stunning design and rich details. Tall pillars and beautiful carvings decorate the building, while shiny glass windows reflect the surroundings. Guests were welcomed by a wide driveway with neat gardens, flowing fountains, and soft lights that make the hotel look grand. The hotel name was clearly displayed, and unique touches like sculptures or rooftop decks make it stand out from others.

Xiao Chen entered the hotel, feeling awe and admiration. The hotel looked perfect and grand in every sense.

He didn't notice but secret glances were thrown his way as he walked toward the reception, filled with disdain and contempt. 

He reached the reception after admiring the grandness of the hotel for a bit.

The receptionist was a woman with a fine build, and curvy body. But there was a sense of disdain in her words when she spoke with a facade of politeness, bowing slightly.

"Good evening and welcome to Gade Dragon Pavillion! How may I assist you today? It would be a pleasure to help you."
