Chapter 3 - Evolution

"So, could you explain to me, what exactly do you want to do once you've stopped the King?" Momoshiki asks, flying above Seygah thanks to his assistance. "Well…" Seygah says, "I'll just try to see everything I can. Explore all worlds?"

"How do you think you can do that? Don't you know anything about this worlds of worlds of worlds? There are an infinite amount of all things I'm gonna mention. Universes, multiverses, omniverses, and more! Way more names! I mean can anyone even explore infinity? How would you operate outside of dimensional frameworks? Is it even possible to reach above the Ladders?" Momoshiki rambles on. Seygah laughs then asks, "what are Ladders?"

"They are infinite hierarchies regarding dimensions, going from one to infinity, although at the lowest point of the mid-point they transcend dimensionality as a whole but whatever." Momoshiki explains.

"So you mean to tell me that the different levels of the Ladders have hierarchies within them? What purpose do the different levels even serve?" Seygah then asks. Momoshiki takes a deep breath and exhales, "okay. So each level or layer transcend the other to the point they view the lower as complete fiction, get it? I don't quite understand what the point of this is but it is what it is." Seygah nods somewhat understanding. "So maybe I can't explore everything? That's fine I guess. Maybe I can just explore the most creative structures then. Just maybe though."

Meanwhile Damian and Eichika both sense a powerful presence coming their direction. They turn around and look up, waiting. All of a sudden Seygah's loud, bubbly voice echoes, "people! Normal people!" He launches him and Momoshiki down to Damian and Eichika with high speed, practically landing on them causing somewhat of an explosion. "What's the big idea?!" Damian exclaims as he dusts himself off. Eichika clings onto Damian's black suit as she opens one eye. "Hey, you look smart! Is it possible to travel throughout infinite worlds?" Seygah asks. Damian shakes his head, "no. Of course not…it's an inaccessible distance after all," he says, being disingenuous, "is that all you wanted to ask?"

"No actually. If there was a way to defeat King how would someone do it?" Seygah asks hesitantly, afraid of looking dumb. Damian smirks then hides it and then shrugging.

"Don't try to lie to me. Maybe you'll answer if I tell you that…I'm a Flux."

"What?!"

Damian looks at Seygah completely awestruck, more fear than wonder though. Eichika stares unamused, not believing him. "Yeah right," she says blankly, "if you're a Flux then why don't you go ahead and prove it." Seygah thinks of a way to prove that he's a Flux but draws a blank, he looks to Momoshiki who just shrugs, then looks back at Damian and Eichika. "A test of strength…then we'll believe you! Right, Eichika?"

"I guess…let me take cover first. You, stupid right there," she says pointing at Momoshiki, "come. We will hide together. I know you're weak." She gestures to a particular tree which was a fair distance away. Momoshiki and Eichika then hide and watch from a distance. "A test of strength, you say? Fine! This should be fun." Seygah exclaims cracking his knuckles and doing some stretches. Damian confidently smirks as he takes a fighting stance. Seygah and Damian both charge at each other, their auras and fists clashing together, which creates excessive shockwaves and cracks the ground. They exchange punches and kicks, they fly around causing minor destruction as they also throw energy balls at each other. They lock hands as they struggle above their heads, Seygah and Damian trying to free their hands but at the same time don't want to give up the clash.

"You aren't bad, wannabe Flux!"

"I can say the same thing about you…guy!"

Seygah lifts his leg and kicks Damian in the stomach, sending him flying into the ground, creating a boom. Seygah lands back on the ground, looking where Damian should be, but he wasn't there. Then, out of the ground directly under Seygah, Damian breaks through and launches Seygah upwards. Damian flies up to Seygah fast enough to then kick him into a mountain, which is then destroyed as Seygah transforms into that form from before. Something was also different about Damian as he came out of the ground out of no where. His entire body was plain red, including his top hat, and his aura was a darker red. After further exchanging of attacks Seygah releases a red wave of power which reaches into outer space, thankfully missing Damian and harming nobody. But the intensity still knocked everyone including Seygah out cold.

When they woke up, Eichika was the first to speak, and her vision had expanded beyond the reaches of the entire planet, her vision could see to the moon. "Hey…" She says with a shaky and sleepy voice. Damian, Seygah, and Momoshiki look at her. "There's a hole in the moon." It had turn night when Seygah defeated the Captain, and then later on when they were knocked out they had slept for hours until now, which it is now morning time. Eichika has an ability to see, in a sense, know everything to an extent. She can see everything happening on the planet but doesn't think about it, she now can see everything up to the moon. Seygah and Eichika suddenly evolved. A strange black spider crawls the tree branch above Eichika's head, it then jumps down onto her head and possesses her. Eichika grows multiple arms and legs, then sharp teeth. She becomes very violent and she causes Seygah and Damian to fight her. She then flees realizing she can't win, changing her size and hiding in the hole of a tree. The spider brings her to a dark tower far away where she is quickly saved by a Shadow member. Seygah and Damian suddenly start flying to look for her, Momoshiki is left behind. "Guys! I can't fly! Wait!" He yells before giving up immediately. He punches the air in anger and sits, putting his hand on his face and then sighing aggressively which turns into a scream of pure anger. "I always get the worst treatment! Like I'm some kind of ghost or whatever!"

A cyborg, half human and half robot, spots Seygah and Damian flying. He smiles as he then follows them. They end up in a neighborhood in which a statue of their now deceased hero stands tall and proud. Seygah and Damian gently land and look around at the cozy buildings. The cyborg watching them walks up to them. "What's up," he says, "name's Goku! Goku Maron!" He has a silver mechanical eyepatch on his right eye and six spikes on his shoulders, three on both sides. "Why don't you guys stay a little while?" He asks. Damian speaks, "no, sorry. We're looking for a little girl with short blonde hair, this tall," he gestures his hand to show her height, "she's wearing somewhat baggy clothing, have you maybe seen anyone like that?"

"No. Sorry. But I can certainly help you!" Goku offers. Damian nods. Seygah looks at him, thinking of what to do. All of a sudden a loud boom echoes. "What was that?!" Someone yells, everybody starts evacuating the area. Seygah, Damian, and Goku start heading towards the explosion to then encounter the Shadow member. "Who is this guy?" Seygah asks. "A Shadow Cult member, a branch of Atlas worshippers! He's going to harm Eichika!" Goku exclaims.

"I won't do that." The Shadow Cult member says. Goku then yells, "like we'd believe that!" Goku transforms into a full-mech form with claw arms and his legs become thrusters like that of a rocket. He charges at the Shadow Cult member and attacks him. Goku blows fire from his thrusters which weakens the Shadow Cult member. The Shadow Cult member then cuts Goku's head off with a shadow blade he manifested, Goku's oil-blood comes out and it becomes a giant black figure. After a fierce battle, Damian sends it to outer space, the Shadow Cult member killed. Seygah and Damian pick Eichika up and they all go to find Momoshiki.

Back where Momoshiki was left behind, he walks through the forest alone. One of his old troop members walks up to him. "Hey, it's you! Momo, my man! What's up?"

Momoshiki gives him a dead stare without saying a word. "M-Momo? You okay?" Momoshiki doesn't answer, but instead stabs him to death with his pocket knife out of pure malice and rage. He feels a kind of guilt that makes his heart ache but it doesn't last too long as he starts to walk away silently with a blank expression. Then, Seygah and Damian look for him, but he's seemingly somehow no where to be found. "Oh crap!" Seygah yells, "is he dead?!"

"Don't worry, don't worry. I'm sure he's fine, we'll find him eventually." Damian assures. Eichika looks at them both and sighs. Then Eichika begins to shake uncontrollably as she falls to the ground. Her eyes become multiple flashing colors as drool emerges from her mouth.

"What is that— that I see? It looks like a person…a strange one, why are they staring so hard at me? Maybe they're not even looking at me at all, their eyes keep shifting as if reading they're something! Well, whoever you are…I can see you."
