(As usual, Alora entered the school while expecting another normal day, but oddly, she found that every eye turned to her when she entered, there were whispers and gossip there spreading like wildfire, it's strange that Lysette didn't wait for Alora to get to school today, did something happen? Maybe she's overthinking it..Then.. a wind blowed, so chilly, this was what it meant to alone, beautiful yet sorrowful, then someone grabbed her shoulder from behide and when she turned, boom! A slap across her face. Alora bewildered and having no idea what's going on.)
Alora: Why did you do that for?
Jude: Acting clueless, huh? Wouldn't that suit your pretty little face.
Alora: I've really got no idea.
Jude: You beat up my little sister! She was crying ever since a week but wouldn't tell me why, so it was you?
Alora: Huh? No, I wouldn't dare to hit a kid!
Jude: But you did.
(Jude knocked Alora to the ground with one punch, that man went crazy, punches after punches, it felt like if no one was going to pull them apart, Alora would die, but Alora was still deep in her thoughts, she couldn't really think what happened. Then, the principal, stepped forward, her voice is ice-cold, she couldn't come because of a ruckus, she could care the least for that. Even if Alora was the top student.)
Claudette: Enough.
(Everyone paused, the principal doesn't help anyone out so why's she here?)
Claudette: I said enough. Violence on the school grounds is prohibited! Everyone must return to their classes now unless they wanna be thrown out of the school.
(Everyone took their departure, sod id Jude, he didn't regret a ounce of what he just did, Alora's pretty face wasn't pretty anymore, blood dripped so did tears, she did nothing so why?)
Claudette: Get up, you still got your legs, don't you? Unless you get up to the infirmary, I'll regret coming here.
Alora: Yeah, thank you.
(Alora looked at her hands, they were trembling, her whole body was shivering, fear got installed in her just like in the old times but she's innocent, what did she do? Pain was being alone, you expect atleast one person to help you up when you're at your lowest but they fail to meet your expectations. Alora indeed picked herself up and went to the infirmary. She can't show her face in school for atleast a week now. Meanwhile, Caius unaware of what's going on outside, reading a book peacefully in the library. His foster mom enters with some cookies, he thanks her and is looking in his phone, there were a burst of messages in the group now...mainly talking about, "She got what she deserved." in highlights. Caius took a closer look at the picture, it was Alora, dirty, on the ground, blood covering half of her face. Caius's heart skipped a beat, he dropped the cookies on the floor.)
Caius: Mom, what is the meaning of this?
Claudette: Nothing, as you can see, she got what she deserved.
Caius: I am sure that she did nothing. She's innocent.
Claudette: No one cares, I stopped the fight anyways.
Caius: But you didn't help her! When she was covered in dirt and blood and nothing but tears in her eyes, you didn't move a inch!
Claudette: Her life's nothing more than thrash and she's a parasite for sticking up to me.
Caius: How could you say that? Is that how you treat your top students?
Claudette: Students? Nothing more than puppets to catch and throw. Now, I didn't say you were an exception, Caius Renard. So you better serve your purpose and do well.
(Caius just nods, he is no match for that women.)
Claudette: By the way, I set you up with a girl around your age, she's from a upperclass noble family. You've ordered to wait in here till evening when she arrives.
Caius: Damn it, I never said I'll do that!
Claudette: Do you want your parents to be disappointed of you?
(By the way, Caius's real parents are dead if you don't know.)
Caius: I'll do whatever you say but leave her alone.
Claudette: Then get dressed and do whatever you can to capture her heart.
(Yes...Caius's a kind-of slave to his foster mom but it was her who saved him and took him under her wing.)
