What if the game remembered who you used to be?
After ten years of failure in the world’s most immersive VRMMO, Ascension, Aiden Chase finally faced deletion—until a forgotten relic rewound his entire life to the game's first day.
Armed with memories of the future, a broken support class nobody wanted, and a mysterious Lexicon that lets him rewrite magic itself, Aiden vows to rise where he once fell.
But the more he bends the rules, the more the SYSTEM notices.
NPCs start to glitch. Forgotten quests return. Some players remember things they shouldn't.
Ascension isn’t just a game anymore.
It’s a memory—and it’s fighting back.
What starts as a simple reincarnation story quickly transforms into something much deeper — a haunting exploration of memory, and identity inside a broken game world that remembers too much. Definitely rewards patient readers as it takes a while to pick up but I'm really excited to see where this goes.
Very well written. Gives just enough to allow you to imagine the scenes without getting you bogged down. Love the worldbuilding with the system full of glitches. Really interested to see where this goes. Fingers crossed for a regular release schedule!
Shameless author review :) I really hope you enjoy this project of mine, whilst there aren't may chapters now, the aim is to upload at least 1 chapter a day for the novels entire life with the aim of ~1000 chapters! Thank you all so much for reading!!!
