Chapter 94: Think I’m Holding Back My Power?

"Sins? I've lost count!" Uchiha Tajima scoffed at Yao's accusation, his fierce eyes locking onto the eerie old man. "But I, Uchiha Tajima, have never betrayed the clan."

"Spare me your hypocrisy," Yao sneered, raising a withered hand to display a jar with a preserved Sharingan, wiping it gently. "Think you can hide what you did to Kin?"

"What?" Tajima's brows furrowed, memories of the long-dead Uchiha Kin surfacing, his tone tinged with regret. "My sister and brother-in-law died saving me. I carry that guilt…"

"Still acting? Gin, this is your 'great uncle,'" Yao mocked, his gray eye turning to the silent Gin.

"What? Gin, you two know each other?" Tajima spun, disbelief in his shocked gaze.

"Gin, what's going on?" Koharu, nestled comfortably on Gin's back, poked his spine, whispering curiously, clueless about the situation.

"Sigh…" No time to explain, Gin groaned. How do I fix this mess?

"Grandpa, Uncle, can't we sit and talk?" Gin tried mediating, only to be met with fiery glares, making his head throb.

"Gin, the headband I gave you—put it on Nameless," Yao ordered, his face darkening. His grandson, despite their deal, was wavering, threatening his revenge.

"Sorry, I refuse." Gin pulled out the plain headband Yao gave him years ago, crushing it with a resolute grip. Black mist rose from the fragments, swirling around him before vanishing. Unseen, Koharu's eyes briefly flashed black.

"That's it?" Gin frowned at the dissipating mist, sensing it wasn't that simple.

"Gin, I gave you a chance, yet you stand against me. Is this justice for your murdered parents?" Yao lamented, his lone eye blazing with fervor.

"Tch, how do I explain? Haven't you noticed your own state's off?" Gin scratched his messy curls, exasperated.

"You've been brainwashed by Tajima's pupil technique, blind to right and wrong," Yao snapped, ignoring Gin and glaring at the pensive Tajima. "Wangliang, now!"

He's got backup? Gin's heart sank. Even after his betrayal, Yao was ready to fight?

"Can't wait," Wangliang said, his rare human-like grin twisting as he morphed into a black shadow, surging toward them.

This reckless? Was this guy always such a berserker? Gin recalled Wangliang's future covert schemes, a stark contrast to this brash assault.

Shielding Koharu, Gin activated Sharingan, warily tracking the black sludge.

"Stay still, we're fighting!" Feeling Koharu squirm mischievously, Gin barked, too focused to misinterpret.

"Fighting? My favorite!" Her voice, suddenly unlike before, sent chills through Gin, goosebumps rising.

Before he could react, Koharu exploded into action, her pale foot kicking him meters away.

"Koharu?!" The blow rocked Gin's insides. Staggering, he steadied himself.

Turning, he saw her barefoot on the grass, cloak discarded, her delicate face now sporting a manic grin. Gone was her gentle demeanor; her crimson eyes gleamed with madness.

"Heh heh heh, finally free! Out of that cursed seal!" Koharu cackled, head bowed, then locked eyes with Gin's Sharingan. "Running into my dear Gin right away… perfect."

Her hands cupped her face, voice thrilled, but her eyes overflowed with deranged obsession.

Wangliang's doing? Gin winced, facing a yandere Koharu. I'm too old for this.

"I love you most, Gin!" Her sweet words belied her rising into the air.

A cherry-red skeletal frame reappeared, encasing her. As her pupil power surged, armor formed, the frame growing taller, soon becoming a half-body giant wielding a cleaver.

Stage-two Susanoo drained much chakra. Panting slightly, Koharu smiled sweetly at Gin from within. "Why didn't you come for me?"

Without warning, her cleaver swung down.

"Host in combat. Heartsteel chest accumulating…" a system voice chimed.

The Susanoo-powered cleaver descended. Gin, no time to hide his strength, slammed his hands to the ground, unleashing vast chakra. [Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall]

A thunderous rumble shook the earth as a meters-thick wall rose, adorned with a cute Shiba Inu emoji.

Koharu's red cleaver struck with titanic force, unleashing a blast and shockwave, dust cloaking the battlefield.

As it cleared, Koharu, grinning, scanned for Gin, certain her blow wouldn't kill her beloved—just maim him, so he'd stay by her side forever.

"Heh heh… huh?" Raising her cleaver, she found her Susanoo's weapon stuck in the wall, bound by thick branches that had sprouted from nowhere.

A familiar curly-haired figure sat on her Susanoo's shoulder, picking his ear, rolling his dead-fish eyes. "A mere stage-two Susanoo dares raise its voice to me?"
