My mind raced rapidly, instantly recalling the note on the bedside from this morning. I dashed into the bedroom, picked up the note, and compared Lin Yanxi's handwriting carefully.

My heart tightened.

I still couldn't accept this fact; I ran upstairs to find Lin Yanxi.

She was coming out of the shower wrapped in a bath towel; upon seeing me rush in, she instinctively covered herself to prevent exposure.

I was even more certain of my suspicion. Looking at Lin Yanxi, there were several distinct scars on her body, which were completely different from her smooth skin last night.

I stared carefully at the corner of her eye; there wasn't the alluring mole there.

Even though there was sufficient evidence to prove my suspicion, I still had an attitude of not giving up until the last moment to go find Lin Yanrou.

She was standing on the balcony, seemingly preoccupied, wearing formal attire, and had switched her half-frame glasses for sunglasses.
