When I was in university, I was accused of plagiarism because of a design group competition. It took more than half a month to clear my name.

Although the group and I felt no guilt about the competition, if someone wanted to sabotage me intentionally,

even if I could prove my innocence, gathering the evidence and such would still take quite some time.

One way or another, the announcement period might have even passed by then!

Frustrated, I clenched my teeth. Though the social media account used to post is mine, it's actually been used by my mom.

[Mom, I don't even know if I've been accepted yet, why did you post about my matters on social media?]

Hearing my questioning, my mom looked at my dad with a slightly choked voice.

[It's just that our family has always been looked down upon by those relatives, so I did this.]

Just as she was saying this, my mom received another call, smiling brightly as she spoke and started making guarantees again.

After hanging up, she looked at me with self-satisfaction.

[See, someone just came seeking us out!]

I was speechless. Someone just saying a few flattering words and you've already agreed. What a fool.

[Sis, Mom is doing this for our family, you need to be more understanding, and give a bit more.]

I let out a mocking laugh, then took my mom's phone, deleted the social media post, and made a resume.

In any case, I need to be prepared.

After staying home for two days, I heard a noise outside the door.

[Borrow a car, borrow a car dealership, it's no big deal, I'll just give you the car keys, wait here.]

Upon hearing the voice outside, I suddenly remembered.

The person speaking is one of my mom's distant relatives.

In a past life, he came to borrow a car, and I stopped my mom from lending it.

They blamed me for blocking their fortune path but didn't see the news.

This relative borrowed someone else's car and ended up drunk driving, killing a person and losing their own life too.

In the end, the person who lent the car got tangled in a lawsuit and was accused of having to repay money.

This time around, I won't stop it.
