顾千云从沙发上站了起来."今天留下来.我会给你双倍的薪水.

沈雨婉听到"双薪",勉强露出笑容."我就按照你的安排去吧,顾先生."

顾千云打了个电话,然后坐在沙发上处理一些工作.

沈玉婉坐在他旁边,感觉越来越无聊.她决定翻阅手机,很快就收到了林逸瑶发来的两条信息.

"姐姐,我收到了offer!公司要我明天报告.

她的手机又响了好几声,里面有一瑶的表情符号,沈玉婉几乎可以隔着屏幕感受到姐姐的喜悦.

不知不觉中,她的嘴角弯成了一个微笑.

"谁在和你聊天,这么开心?"顾千云的声音划破了寂静,目光定睛在她身上.

"顾先生,我只是和我姐姐聊天,"沈玉婉回答道,她的烦恼悄悄地涌上来.

沈玉婉已经受够了顾千云对她的无休止的控制.

"明天,宋元就要加入公司了.一定要处理好那个,"顾千云补充道,他的眼睛仍然盯着电脑.

一提到宋元,沈玉婉顿时紧张了起来.

"明天,一瑶也要加入公司.还有宋元..."

"What if she finds out we're sisters?" she thought, recalling the earlier incident with Song Yuan spilling coffee on purpose.

<em>Ding-dong, ding-dong,</em> the doorbell rang, and Shen Yuwan looked toward the door.

"Mr. Gu, your food from Rui Ting Fang has arrived," Gu Qianyun's driver said, poking his head into the room.

"Bring it in," Gu Qianyun said, closing his laptop.

"Let's go eat," he said, glancing at Shen Yuwan.

Shen Yuwan nodded, though her mind was still preoccupied with the situation with Song Yuan.

As she sat at the table full of delicious food, Shen Yuwan realized she had no appetite.

She was still thinking about Song Yuan's impending arrival at the company the next day.

"Drink some water," Gu Qianyun said, pouring a glass of water and placing it beside her.

"Thank you, Mr. Gu," Shen Yuwan replied, picking up her chopsticks to start eating. But, distracted by her thoughts, she only picked a small portion of vegetables.

"Eat more. You're too thin. I won't be comfortable picking you up," Gu Qianyun said as he placed a chicken leg on her plate.

Shen Yuwan instinctively raised her hand to decline, but, to her surprise, she accidentally knocked over the glass of water he had poured.

The glass fell to the floor, shattering into pieces.

Shen Yuwan was startled and immediately knelt down to pick up the broken glass.

Gu Qianyun was quick to react and grabbed her hand.

"Your bandaged hand is still healing. Do you want to injure yourself again?"

His cold voice rang above her, making her freeze.

"Eat first. I'll have the maid clean it up later," Gu Qianyun said, his hand releasing her.
