Adlof… deep inside the Empire of the Dogs.
Inside Carter's dimly lit lab, he made a proposal that bordered on madness:
"What if you became one of them? Not just a dog… but a hybrid. A being that merges their raw power and primal instincts with human intellect."
Adlof stared at him in silence. Then, with a slight smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, he asked,
"And the price?"
"Two months," Carter replied. "You'll remain a hybrid for that long. If we don't pull you out in time… you'll never return to who you were."
Adlof didn't hesitate. He locked eyes with Carter and said firmly,
"Do it."
The metal bed was prepared. Adlof laid down as mechanical arms descended from above. They wrapped around his body, injecting the engineered formula into his bloodstream.
His vision faded... and the transformation began.

Meanwhile, Nourredine had intercepted an elite canine espionage unit.
They were immediately sent to the shelter under heavy guard.
Upon Carter's arrival—bringing the newly-altered Adlof—they decided it was time to test his abilities.
Adlof entered, his form drastically changed. His teeth were sharper, ears subtly elongated, muscles pulsing beneath a dark, grayish skin.
He stared down the canine spies, demanding they reveal their mission.
They denied everything.
Adlof played a trick—pretending to be one of them. But their empty, primitive gazes gave nothing away.
"Less intelligent than expected... a waste of time."
With a single swing, he ended their lives.

He was then transported into the heart of enemy territory—thrown into a massive pit teeming with hostile dogs.
The creatures surrounded him, wild and erratic. Their chants echoed:
"Food… food… FOOD!"
Adlof stood tall, towering over them. His new body radiated unmatched power, yet his mind remained untouched—sharpened even.
He glanced around, watching the beasts bark at nothing and claw at the ground.
"I'm in hell," he whispered, "but I won't be its fuel."
Then, with a mocking grin, he said:
"At least I can say something other than 'food'..."
He raised his gaze toward the foggy, gray sky.
"Now the real phase begins."
