The One With The Rebooted Life

You said yes to the Love Triangle Quest.

It starts small: Monica insists on sitting between you and Rachel when you're all on the couch. Ross glares at you more than usual. Chandler makes snarkier-than-normal remarks. Joey offers to teach you how to flirt "less awkwardly," which is rich, coming from him.

But it's Phoebe who really shakes you.

Scene: Phoebe's Apartment

You're there because she invited you over "for spiritual reasons." You figured it'd be crystals or smudging or an oddly deep song about dinosaurs. Instead, she lights candles and lays out tarot cards.

Phoebe: "You're not from around here, are you?"

You laugh nervously. "I mean, I'm from… midtown?"

Phoebe flips the first card. The Fool.

Then the World, upside-down.

Then… the Wheel of Fortune, also upside-down.

Phoebe looks up, face deadly serious.

Phoebe: "Okay. So. You're in a transitional state. You've stepped into a new world, but the cycle's broken. Something's off-balance. Time is… bending around you."

You freeze. That's… too accurate.

Phoebe Buffay has unlocked: "Spiritual Intuition – 50%"

She now passively detects System fluctuations. Caution advised.

You: "What happens if I stay here?"

Phoebe shrugs. "You either fix everything… or you break the timeline and get stuck in a never-ending rerun."

Later – Monica's Apartment

You try to act normal. The whole gang is there. Rachel hands you a slice of pizza. Ross is telling a story about fossils. Chandler's making jokes that land unevenly. You're not sure if they're laughing at you or with you anymore.
