Blood and fighting 2

The knife went deep into his chest. Zeke's golden eyes dimmed as he turned his gaze to Luna.

"I said let her go!" Luna demanded firmly. "Let her go! Who do you think you are?" Zeke slowly put Teresa down as she fell to the ground gasping for air.

"Let's go. It's almost morning," Simon said. Simon didn't want trouble at the moment. Right now they were inside the territory of Luna.

"Alright," Zeke replied shortly. "But I am not stopping those vampires," he deadpanned.

"But they broke the rules. We need to punish them." The rule stated by the vampire king was that no vampire should kill humans. But vampires were stubborn, always breaking the rules and always getting punished.

"I don't give a damn! Let the vampires enjoy the night. I'll punish them tomorrow," Zeke said, intending to take a step forward to leave when...

"You deserve punishment too! And I swear you'll pay back, you f**er," Luna said with pain in her tone. She wanted to protect her people from these blood-sucking creatures, "vampires." She hated that word with a passion.

"Let's go," and with that, they walked outside the gate and disappeared into the woods as if nothing had happened.

"Motherf**er!" Luna yelled as her soul boiled with rage and fury.

"It's okay, boss. We need to get to work; the rogues are too many inside," Teresa said, and Luna could only imagine the kind of lives that would be lost. With that, she ran toward the mansion, leaving Teresa. When she reached the mansion's double doors, she pushed them slowly, still keeping her hands in the air with the knife she was holding. She moved to the other corner of the door and peered through the little hole inside.

Then she used her legs and finally pushed it open. The hall was filled with blood, and many people with brown uniforms lay on the floor lifeless with blood all over. While the fighting was still going on, the humans killed the vampires, and vampires killed humans as well. She was dumbfounded. One vampire came to her, and immediately she used one of the knives and pierced it through his chest and afterward used her legs to kick him, sending him to the ground. She moved forward, pulling out the knife from his chest, and then two came straight at her. She immediately saw a piece of cloth on the floor and picked it up in haste, wrapping it around her hand tightly and sending a punch to the vampire's head, who only staggered back. When all the rogues that saw her panicked.

"You can do it, Luna," she muttered under her breath, aiming the knife at the vampire's chest and then noticing that one was behind. She used her leg and kicked him from the back, and another vampire came in. As soon as it came, she dug the knife into his chest while turning to the one she just kicked and pinned another knife into his chest also.

Blood splashed on her face in tiny drops.

"Damn! This seems easier than I expected," she said with a smile.

"We need to turn the heater on! Please turn on the heater!" Lena said from a distance. Luna looked up to see long silver hair flying in the air due to the turns she was making and killing vampires as blood splashed on her face and body.

"Lena," she said inwardly.

They didn't know what Lena was talking about. And then, as if she saw someone's memory, she pictured the place in the underground dungeon, and without thinking, she ran in that direction. Her mind led her as she ran at full speed, opening doors until she opened big double doors made of iron. As soon as she stepped in, she saw a dirty figure with black-red eyes groaning at her. She searched all over her body and found no weapon at all. Fear began to creep into her, and she stepped back to open the door and run, but before she could do that, the vampire leaped on her. She pushed it aside, using her legs to kick it, and instead of the vampire falling apart, it came closer and used its dirty canines, intending to bite her leg. She struggled to pull her leg out from his grip, but it was too tight, and she fell to the ground.

The vampire landed on her, and she pushed him aside.

"You disgusting creatures!" she cursed with gritted teeth. She quickly stood up, ready to look for any sharp object, but there was none she could find.

"Going somewhere? I'll drink your blood and cut off your head! And I'll take your head to the king! He'll make me prince for that, hahaha!" the creature blabbered.

"I'll become the crown prince, hahaha!" he said.

"It's all just a dream! Think of how to kill me first!" she urged him, and he came at her with full force. Pushing her with his vampiric speed, Luna landed on the ground, and her abdomen hurt badly. She gripped the fabric and coughed out blood.

"You monster. I'll kill you!" she said, and the vampire came at her, pulling her hair. She grabbed his hand, trying to shake it off, but he pulled it more.

Suddenly, she felt something sharp inside her hair. Her hand reached and took it. It was thick and long, like a magic stick, but it was a hairpin designed to kill vampires when the original female lead was on a mission. Without wasting time, she pinned it into the hand he was using to pull her hair, and he released her hair, holding his hand and crying in pain.

"You want to be the crown prince? Then you need to kill me first. Don't tell me that is all you've got!" she taunted.

"You useless creature! I'll kill you," the vampire said with anger, coming with full force, and Luna used that moment and pierced the pin into his heart. He fell to his knees, and Luna just left him there and started searching for where she could turn on the heat. She suddenly saw a red switch attached to the wall and placed her hands on it, moving it downward. Everything became bright yellow, and all the vampires from every corner faded to pure dust.

The next morning, the vampire king called all the princes to a ball, and the whole royal family was also gathered for a special feast.

Beautiful pureblood vampire females were seated respectably and eyeing the princes. Ezekiel was nowhere to be found inside the hall, and King Ragna walked up to all the princes. They were ten in number. The tenth prince was Shane, and the first prince was Ezekiel. Simon was the second, and Maximus was the third.

"Where is the crown prince?" he asked no one in particular.

Nobody answered, and they just exchanged glances.

"Simon! You're the closest to him," the king spoke again, this time calling Simon's name.

"I have no idea," Simon said. "He is not feeling well and went to the hospital," he added, and all the princes put their heads down, letting out a little laugh and using their hands to cover their mouths.

"Are you kidding me? I am about to start with the announcement. Go call him immediately."

And then Ezekiel just moved slowly inside the hall, and gossip started among the ladies, and they began to giggle.

"Ezekiel, where have you been? Since you're here, let's start the announcement, and then you can give your opinion," the king proceeded, knowing full well that Ezekiel didn't answer such questions.

He drew everyone's attention.

"Welcome, everyone! I've called for this meeting because I'll be creating a new academy for vampires. And it'll be handled by Ezekiel, the crown prince. Please, crown prince, come tell them how you've planned to make this academy as livable as the first one." Ezekiel just sat there with a blank expression as if he was not hearing anything at all.

"Ezekiel?" the king called.

"Zeke?" Simon said. He didn't want to make the girls wait. Simon always treated girls like angels.

Zeke remained unmoving. Everyone shifted their gaze to the crown prince. Then he stood up.

"My mouth hurts," and he left the hall. Everyone gasped in surprise. Simon followed him, and when they were outside, Simon was the first to speak.

"What the f**k?" he said. Though he was not surprised at all, this was Ezekiel's behavior.

"Damn! Since I was born, I've never talked so much like yesterday. Now my mouth hurts! Luna will pay for this."
