"you should hate the noodles also because it belongs me. And I'm your enemy so you should hate whatever belongs to me" Shane said firmly.

"No not at all. I love noodles and I don't like you!" Max gestured and for some kind of reason that seems to hurt Shane.

"So, what you're saying is you'll choose noodles over me?" Shane asked in disbelief as he shrugged his shoulders as amusement flickered in his gray eyes.

"Yeah" he replied shortly and Shane's face flushed with disappointment.

"Food is good and I'll sell you for food when I'm stranded" Max added coldly and everyone laughed except Shane. He looks like he was about to cry.

"Puppy baby is that you" Simon mocked more and Shane's face became more heated. He was the last prince and they loved the toying with him while he can easily get affected by their words.

"Alright everyone, let's—" Simon didn't get to finish his words when he saw Zeke by the door. All the princes followed Simon's lingering gaze and saw the crown prince by the door.

"Zeke? Come on, join us" Simon said as he turned back to what he was doing. Just looking at Zeke's solemn expression sent a chill down Shane's spine. Zeke didn't look happy even one bit. Shane remembered the time he was a kid. Zeke wasn't happy and one of his brothers messed up Zeke beat him half to death. Shane couldn't forget what happened. Only then did he realize that Zeke was a monster. He can beat up anyone who annoys him.

"I think the crown prince is very busy attending to businesses hahaha. Let him be" said Shane, trying to avoid Zeke from joining them. Zeke is not someone who smiles with his brothers. He has no time for that.

Without answering, Zeke left the kitchen and Shane breathed a sigh of relief.

"I don't even know why you're that scared of him. Fear me instead" said Maximus playing with one of the spoons he found.

"Why the hell should I fear you? You're nothing and I can beat you easily!" remarked Shane. Max wasn't scared of the crown prince. Not as much as Simon.

"Nobody needs to be scared of anybody here. The only thing we need to do is avoid trouble" Kane said. He was the fourth prince of vampires. Max is just a century older than him.

"You're right brother" Shane agreed.

"I don't know why the hell you guys are even scared of Zeke. He is obviously just like you" said Simon with a grin.

"I don't think so Simi" Max confessed.

"Does he even smile?" the fifth prince Marcus said and everyone gave him a look.

"Haha, I'm just saying. I've never seen him laugh or smile"

"Of course he does. But it's always a wicked smile or a devilish smirk" said Shane casually crossing his hands.

Few minutes passed and they were still all chatting when..

"Boys, I'm very happy today. Why don't we practice? After all some of you will soon be admitted to the fighting academy" offered Simon. Unlike Zeke, he was friendly with everyone and also playful. But he was more dangerous. Simon was wicked no doubt, if one of them misbehaves either he pulls out your tongue or removes one of your fangs.

His brothers were extremely careful around him. He takes everything playfully but when he gets angry he can hurt people.

"Yeah, why not" said Max with excitement in his tone. He was four centuries old. And unlike every other prince who are scared of Zeke, he was not. He doesn't even bother associating himself with someone like Zeke.

"Alright, let's go to the backyard" everyone seems excited about it. And with that they all left. Chatting and gossiping.

Back at the alpha mega empire Luna and the little kid had played all day. The girl said her name was Bia. Luna kept wondering who owns the kid. She has promised to take the girl for shopping tomorrow. It was very dangerous especially since the vampires are after her desperately.

"The prophecy must be out" she murmured to herself. Teresa said she's going to disguise her and Bia so no one will recognize them tomorrow.

Bia already fell asleep so Luna went for a walk. She was walking around the garden when she stopped, looking ahead she saw a rock. She went and sat on it and just stared at a space. Deep in her own thoughts.

"Life is terrible" a voice cut through the air. Luna immediately stood up only to see someone with a blue uniform with pitch black hair and eyebrows. Then the eyes. For a while their eyes were locked together.

"Nice eyes" she complimented averting her gaze to the flowers.

"Thank you big boss" he said.

"Just call me boss" she instructed and his beautiful blue eyes flushed with confusion.

"Okay, if you say so. Boss" and he gave a simple smile.

"What are you doing here? You supposed to be on duty" she inquired.

"I usually check this corners to see if there is anything suspicious. I'm sorry for disturbing you boss" he said giving a little bow and with that he turned to leave when..

"Wait!" Luna called out. The man immediately turned.

"What about your family?" she asked and he immediately knew where she was going. She wants to know about his eyes.

This was the first time he was interacting with Luna. He only heard she was dangerous and the rest.

"I don't have any family. Why?" he asked her already knowing the answer.

"I wanted to know about your eyes" she said to him.

He shrugged his shoulders. Though he was acting normal but in truth his blood was on fire. He can't stand talking to Luna. Given how Luna had killed in the past.

"I also don't know much. All I know is that I inherited it from my ancestors" "I see" Luna replied shortly.

"How old are you?" she shot another question. She was now curious about him. He just looked down and avoided the question. Not like Luna cares about his age. She just wants to know about the eyes that look inhuman.

The novel she was reading only revealed events leading up to her death at the hands of the male lead. It didn't delve into mundane details of the present world. All Luna knew was that she was destined to die and felt compelled to survive.

She has read and heard about different creatures in the book but not for once had she come across creatures with blue eyes this beautiful and suspicious.

"Have you ever considered finding information about your ancestors?" she asked and he nodded reluctantly.

"But for now I don't know how. Maybe it's no longer important. They no longer exist"

"True" Luna agreed.

"By the way boss, I really don't understand the situation but you and Teresa are planning on going on a mission tonight?"

"Yes why?" she asked. Though she hasn't heard about it.

"Boss? We need to talk" Teresa appeared.

"You may leave" Luna said dismissing him. "What now? A mission?"

"Yes boss. Some stupid syndicate stole from the company so we'll go after them tonight"

"So, they're now after the company?" Luna murmured.

"It seems like it" the both of them started walking back to the mansion.

"That guy, who is he? His eyes are so suspicious"

"He possesses many abilities of a witch and he's helping me a lot" she explained.

"Come on, we need to start preparing for this mission. You should've informed me earlier" said Luna. She was keeping a solemn face ever since she arrived into this world.

"This guy and his gang has been stealing from us recently boss" Teresa said. It's already evening so they just need to prepare for a night mission.

"Boi?" Luna asked.

"Yes boss" Teresa replied. According to the novel, Boi was a normal vampire who loves causing trouble with Luna's company. Always murdering people inside the company. He is one of the characters Luna hated.

"Seems like that motherf**ker will die today" she said to herself.
