The Sky Cracks Open

POV: You

Location: Edge of Echo Base – Genesis Core Perimeter

You could still hear the tremors.

Still feel the heat.

You and Seris moved through the wreckage—gun in your hand, Seris silent at your side. Not tense. Not scared. Just… focused.

A distant roar cracked the sky.

You paused—looked up.

And saw the clouds part.

A column of Genesis energy—blue fire wrapped in silver lightning—rose from the center of the base like a divine lance.

Seris whispered, "That's Lia, isn't it?"

You nodded once.

But your heart sank. Because something else was rising too.

---

The Final Gate

You reached the final corridor.

Broken soldiers. Collapsed walls.

And at the far end—Kairo, barely standing.

He looked up as you approached.

"You're late," he said, grinning through the blood on his lip.

You stepped past him—into the Convergence Chamber—

And then you saw her.

Lia—floating above the Genesis core, eyes glowing, her body laced in cosmic circuitry.

And Zeyren… not wounded. Not scared.

Smiling.

Like this was exactly what he wanted.

The Final Boss Enters

"Welcome," Zeyren said, turning toward you. "Just in time."

Seris raised her weapon.

"Step away from her."

He didn't even glance at her.

"She's not yours to command. She's becoming what she was always meant to be."

You stepped in front of Lia.

"She's still my daughter."

Zeyren's face finally cracked. Just a little.

"…She doesn't belong to you either."

End Scene Tease

Zeyren turned toward the core.

It pulsed once.

And then—

The world shook.

Reality bent.

And a final, impossible doorway began to open above the chamber.

A rift to the Genesis Plane itself.

Zeyren looked up at it like a man staring at heaven.

"She's the key. And once we step through… the old gods wake."

Lia's voice cut through the chaos—calm, clear, and hers.

"Then I guess I'll have to kill a god too."
