Chapter 9; A difficult decision

Anya spent the rest of the day pondering the message. What choice did she need to make? And what were the consequences? She felt like she was standing at a crossroads, with two paths stretching out before her.

As she walked through the gardens, she stumbled upon a fork in the path. To the left, the path led to the manor, symbolizing her life of duty and obligation. To the right, the path wound through the trees, symbolizing the unknown.

Anya felt a sense of trepidation. Which path would she choose? She thought about her parents' expectations, about the suitor they wanted her to marry. She thought about the mysterious man and the Moonflower.

As she stood there, weighing her options, Anya felt a sense of uncertainty. What was the right choice? And what would happen if she chose wrong?
